I don't tried yet, but works in all but u hv to change SElinux status to Premissive, also op stated to uninstall other equalizers l....

Im using Zapdos v1.1 it's stable for me dolby works......
Use the one from apps and games section that gets updated.

Just have to remove lines under Dolby dap in audio config in system before flashing. I have tested till 6.3
No need of changing selinux. Works with any kernel and rom.
There is a new version that might work without editing audio config but not yet tested by me.

Not working on stock 5.0.2(De-bloated version Rooted) Tried with custom Kernel too, changed SELinux to permissive,disable Nu player Dolby Atmos open no error but no effects and it was working on CM 12.1 with Custom Kernel i have tried 6.3 and 6.5 ...

Get the logs for stock rom and give it to op. He will solve it.
I don't use stock. Sorry. Works great on custom rom.

dont want to change SElinux with latest dolby it works, not sure about ota updates...

Has anyone tried getting Viper4Android working on Android N?
Yes, Ive been trying a couple of things this morning and finally got it working !
Btw I'm using NRD90M stock+ by tupac4u with the stock kernel
First Back up your logd by flashing this :

It will copy the logd to the root of your sdcard

Flash this, this modifies your logd
Then Flash this script to make selinux permissive at reboot.

There is no need to set SELinux to permissive. Check out my configuration in signature. This version of V4A should work on Nougat.

I always get errors if I try getting v4a work on enforcing thats why I always set it to permissive

What kind of errors?
I got it working. Had to set SeLinux to permissive. Before that everything installed fine but nothing happened when I tried to do anything.

Well errors is probably the wrong word , More like problems, v4a Just working for a couple of sec or not at all, drivers not sticking after reboot.. and installing it the normal way with permissive Just always works for me

I've been using ARISE for a while now finally no problems with installing v4a anymore
i just unlocked and rooted and all the good stuff ... lol long story short im trying to figure out how to install viper audio ?

There are a few different Viper magisk modules...I personally only use sound mods from Ahrion and havent been disappointed. He updates them regularly as well.

All of his mods are here....AM3D Zirene doesnt work on Nougat though. Ainur Sauron sound mod, while a magisk module, cannot be added through magisk and must be flashed in TWRP. Dolby and Viper are all you need and can be downloaded through those links or through Magisk.

Not working for me. The Dolby Atmos app keeps crashing. Installed the dax_axon7_v3.5r2.zip via magisk manager like it says in the mod thread.

I flashed it via twrp. No issues
After installing dax_axon7_v3.6.zip with magisk 15.0, it's working fine
Just tried installing it on Oreo but ended with the following error : less than 25 API are required

I installed it and activated it but in Viper when I click driver status, is say it is NOT processing the sound. No settings matter. I think we need buysbox and other such mods to get it to work.. :/

The process runs only when you have music running, like a music player, Spotify etc. Viber runs good on the S9 together with the integrated Dolby Atmos.

That part I know since I have been using the sound mod with all my previous phones. However in my current case it does not process the sound that is playing trough the music player.
May I ask, what ROM are you using?

Working fine with magisk(just download module inside magisk) I use version 2.5. 0.5
Rom from soldier here on xda.

Go to advanced
File manager
Locate magisk/Dolby Atmos
And delete
Reboot
Bootloop will gone and you will be able to boot again

Thanks for your help but I prefer not to risk more. I had a serious problem a few days ago with a very serious bootlop and I do not want to suffer again. I'd rather wait for a Dolby Atmos sure 100% without scares

Ok I will try when I will be back on stock ROM and will let you know the working Dolby atmos..
But On oB8 it was working great..I hv used Dolby on op5t for more than 15 days and was awesome :laugh:

This is the version of Dolby which was worked for me on OOS OB8 and new on liquid remix
U can't get anything without try bro..
Gv it a try and if didn't work I HV already mention the escape route before
And be sure u are on latest magisk 16.0 or 16.4 beta
