I was trying unblocking bootloader. However, when I plugged in my phone, my computer can't detect my driver downloaded.
So I tried several times unplug and plug and eventually I can't turn on my phone.
And now when I connect to my computer, there is just a qhsusb_dload drive appeared.
No idea how to fix this.....
I have the same problem but not same cause, No charge led no start just qhsusb_dload mode, (no enter in flashmode)

Even I had this problem. I searched a lot and couldn't find any proper solution.. Even RaymanFx had this problem - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=49244699&postcount=1045
In the end I had to pay $222 for a new motherboard. Be sure to check out this thread too, you might find something useful - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2181451&page=5
It appears to be a fault on Sony's part and not the user.. Anway good luck and hope that you guys can recover your phones:good:
Do not see a section for the A200..... A100 is the closest, I think.....
OK, so I soft bricked my A200 and need to USB connect to it, so I can use fastboot or some other recovery tool.
Problem is that when I plug the A200 into my computer, it grinds away for a bit then gives a driver failed to install red "X" message.
I've reloaded the Acer USB drivers a couple of time, but no joy there. I've tried two different computers, I've tried XP and W7, nothing seems to help. Looking in the device manager shows an error 10 (device can't start).
Since the PC at least recognizes the A200 when plugging in, I think if I can get the USB talking I can easily unbrick the A200.
I posted this same message over on Acertabletforums, but so far no response's
Help??

The A200 guys are over in the A500 section, we're all by our lonesome over here.
Is the screen just blank, or what does it do when you power it on? We get stuck in apx mode when we brick so we have no way back out for us, not sure of the A200s.
I would plug it in, uninstall all android drivers, even for other devices, uninstall all software for android, reboot, then plug it in and install fresh and see how it goes. If its in apx mode then the normal drivers won't work.

Hey, thanks..... Maybe a moderator will move this thread over there??
When I power it on, it boots to the IconiaTab screen, but no further. I don't know what apx mode is. It's been rooted and bootloader unlocked using HBWelch's Simple Tool. I can get into fastboot mode by using a convoluted (to me, at least) procedure, that takes 6 fingers to accomplish.
Boowho??
fixed
Problem solved..... Thanks. Was able to flash via update.zip on SD card.
I have a Xperia S running cm 12.1 with unlocked bootloaders TWRP installed and i tried to partition my SD card [http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2584759] but clearly something went wrong and now the phone wont boot. I made a lot of research and tried everything but all the guides require to be able to boot into flashmode . My phone is dead the only sign of life is a red led when its charging which after some hours of charge will shut off. When the light is off and the phone connected on PC, the PC can recognize the device on unspecified devices (QHSUSB_DLOAD). i have installed all the needed drivers from Sony, google drivers from sdk, and adb drivers(adb wont see the device and i tried everything to do so, but nothing seem to work). I got a market for android on my pc called mobogenie that when i connect the phone it detects that a phone is connected but wont see what phone. The hardware reset buttons work but its useless in the current position. Concluding, the phone is bricked and wont open in fastboot-flashboot-bootloader-TWRP, its recognized as a device but not as "Xperia s" i got all the drivers and i want to flash the original firmware (already downloaded) to fix it. A possible problem is that the partition table is destroyed and after the flash it will hopefully be restored. The problem is not on the hardware but on software. I tried to trigger the download mode with the Samsung way (USB jig, 300k ohm ) but nothing happened as expected. Every solution i found required flash mode which is not accessible at the moment and i tried lots of things to go into fastboot(ever the rubber band trick, remove the battery etc). PLEASE help i dont know what to do, please help me flash it (i already got flashtool, Emma) or anohter solution. Thanks for the help in advance.

i also took my phone apart to disconnect the morthermboard and reset the chips without letting the battery die, didnt work. Then i let the battery die but still no luck. I also tried from linux after following tutorial to install adb corectly but it wont see my phone.(it can see it in usb devices)
Hello and thank You for reading this!
I will get straight into it, I have a Nexus 5X (h791) in a what I would like to refer to as a semi-conscious state.
What I would like to do is to unbrick it and furthermore install a custom rom and I sincerely hope you all can help me with that.
So I have tried to unbrick my phone with LGUP (https://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-5x/help/req-help-to-unbrick-t3251740) after I have not been successful with fastboot.
While following the guide I have noticed that my phone was not able to get into fastboot-mode anymore, still it was recognised by my PC as a qualcomm usb bulk device within the category of "other devices". I have already dealt with a similar issue in the past which was about getting the port right of a LG G3 marked as a unit within "ports" but with my LG G3 I was lucky to get it into a working state of download mode.
I have already tried to disable driver signature enforcement and re-installed everything as well but it did not work out yet. Also, my device seems to be alive as I can hear a steady noise when holding my ear next to the speakers. But still I cannot turn it off without fully draining the battery as it does not react to any buttons pressed except when I plug it into my PC with vol up.
tldr; I think my phone is recognised falsely (as qc bulk device rather than N5X) by my pc because i can't get into fastboot-mode properly. Any help or experience?
Please let me know if You have any more questions and thank You in advance
Bricked my phone as well with LGUP... Piece of trash software. Only shows up as qualcomm and does not react at all. I guess it is hard bricked and only way to fix it is with qualcomm software. Trying to find someone to help with it but out of luck: https://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-5x/help/qualcomm-hs-usb-qdloader-9008-t3754397

As the title says, my pc cannot detect my galaxy A7. In fact, no PC is able to. My phone charges when I plug it into the PC but no popup on my PC saying it detected the device. I tried different cables, setting it to MTP mode and all. Still no luck. The phone refuses to connect to my PC, so I'm unable to install custom roms on it or unlock its bootloader. I am extremely confused as to what is going on. Any help would be highly appreciated
Sounds like a driver problem.

I'm pretty sure its not a driver problem, I've tried the official drivers and reinstalled them countless times but still does not work.
