Candy5Unofficial Build by Matthew_333
Code:
I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you. A lot.
This is my build of Candy5 ROM. This build is based on GPROJ sources. I have built it with Solid Kernel by Loller79.
WHAT WORKS?
Everything as far as i know
WHAT DOESN'T WORK?
You tell me (PM)
BUGS/ISSUES?
Testing for some hours now, no sim or signal problem But any feedback is welcome
WHAT DOES IT MEAN "GPROJ BASED"?
GPROJ based are Lollipop ROMs, with Kernels based on stock LG kernel. Other option are GEEHRC based ROMs, which ones have kernels ported from Mako (Nexus 4).
WHY I BUILD THIS ROM?
Probably out of curiosity . Is it bad if we have more ROMs for our device? I think not, so why we wouldn't have more of them, so users can choose? That's why i built this ROM and why i will probably start building also other ROMs for this device.

The rom works like a charm, thanks for your work! The only problem I've found is that settings/candy options/buttons force closes so I can't get the capacitive buttons to stay always on. I hope you can fix it for new builds.
Thanks in advance!

@Matthew_333 look at the e975 repo into overlays folder. there are some hw buttons settings so maybe one of them has broken these settings

Looking at forums now, and this with button settings is common bug with devices which have hardware keys.. So i guess it has nothing to do with our source.. So it's hard to fix this..
Haii,
Unrelated to Euphoria, but i have a question for you guys.. Which ROM would you want me to support next and on which base? For now im building EuphoriaOS on GPROJ and GEEHRC and Candy5 on GPROJ.. Im soon adding DU (instead of @dadi11) but i have some build errors and you will have to wait some time to figure it out.. And after this, which ROM on which base should i build?

yes, when it will be available here: http://slimroms.net/index.php/changelog
For now I think about even rarer updates of my roms, because of a small number of downloads.
I have lost root and I can not get it again with towelroot
you have to enable it in developer settings or flash supersu via recovery

Hey, Tried installing it. Its nice ROM but in my case, When I installed it, There was some force close with Bluetooth Share (Its not working..just checked it in mine). It was continously popping out blocking me from testing anything else. and the other problem was that it was not detecting the SIM. I tried it on XT1068. I was on CrDroid before installing it. I loved the OS except these things. No prolem at all ... I'm sure TheCrazySkull can surely sort them out and have next update. Thanks TheCrazySkull .

There are flashable bootloader/modem zips available on xda.
Just choose all zips at once in twrp and everything will be fine.
@codeworks Just a curiosity nothing more and nothing less. Coming from N5 I see that a lot of ROM are compiled using toolchains like sabermod linaro or uber.
In your opinion is there a real benefit in terms of perforormances and battery life compilng rom and kernel with toolchains?
Cyano officia builds use a toolchains (sorry if it is a noob question but I only use AOSP rom on my old N5)?
Thank you for your opinion and for time and effort spent in this project!

If there's a benefit, then it's probably measurable but you won't feel a difference in real world usage.

I will attempt to get builds out as soon as Temasek releases a new version, however due to commitments i may miss a release. I will not upload a ROM until i have flashed it myself. Builds will strictly follow Temasek's upstream, I will not be making any changes. If you can't handle some things possible being broken, please don't use this and then complain to me for building it. Thank You.

It's easy to understand what is supported by this rom. This rom is built for the ze551kl. It should work on other variants supported by CM without problems, however I don't offer support in the first place. Use at your own risk.
I hope I was clear.
Temasek V6.5 uploaded. Enjoy.
What's the main difference of Temasek build with vanilla CM13?

Teamsek=CM+ Many more features
New Temasek 6.6 build.
If you wonder when I will release a new build or when to check the folder, follow Temasek71 on twitter.
Best regards.
Questions.
-Frequency of the updates of your port? (Temaseks updated daily)
-Hopes for updates via OTA?
-In the official CM, Doze is not yet fully functional. Can do in this port enjoy fully Doze?
Suggestion:
-The main features of this rom you can put in your main post (the most relevant, which are not in cyanogenmod).
Thanks in advance for your work.

1. Read the OP.
2. No OTA.
3. Expect anything that does not work in CM, to not work here.
Thank you for the suggestion.
New build in folder. Enjoy.

This is a damn good rom. Just FYI. xD. Thanks Rukus
New build V6.9.1
No huge changes.
The story is that, V6.9 was stressful of battery probably because of sqlite in some framework/base commits. So the potential culprit was fixed.
SystemUI Tuner as compared to AOSP or CM?
can someone share a screenshot of quick settings or SystemUI Tuner?
Hope these help. If they don't work, my apologies I have a hard time with Google drive xD.

Krexus-CAF is what the name implies. The Krexus unique combination of mods, on top of a clean uptodate and latest CAF source.
Built mainly of top of AOSP-CAF (with permission) and using only what's necessary from all the other great non-nexus device supporting ROMs (CyanogenMod, Dirty Unicorns, AOSPB, Tesla etc), Krexus-CAF tries to provide the maximum compatibility possible with CM-based device trees while keeping a small ROM base.
Lead Developer: @KreAch3R
About Krexus:
Krexus was born out of a simple necessity. The latest releases of stock Android (namely lollipop and marshmallow) were pretty close to my idea of a perfect android ROM, yet missing some elements, which are meant to be included in stock Android, at least for me. Starting from a clean AOSP environment, only specific features and fixes are included, which are personally tested, with one goal in mind. To create a stock like android ROM, "as it should be".
This means, and I mean it, a ROM like how stock nexus image should be, for me.
This isn't going to get bloated. Most UI "features" are already there.
This isn't going to start picking commits relentlessly, I will test them personally and only add things that 1) work like they should 2) would fit in a stock ROM.
This isn't going to be updated very quickly. Only security and bug fixes will be pushed out ASAP.
This is going to follow Google's & AOSP guidelines as closely as I can.[/SPOILER]
