I have a Tab Pro 8.4 LTE (SM-T325) and the touch screen is far too sensitive. I'm currently running CM 12.1, but this has been an issue with other ROMs as well. It's difficult to scroll in the browser or apps like Facebook because it selects something as soon as I touch the screen. I've noticed it will actually pick up my finger if it's close to the screen and not actually touching it. The problem is so bad I'm almost about to give up on using this tablet.
Is there a parameter in one of the prop files that I can change to lower the screen sensitivity?

When the screen auto-dims before timing out and I touch the screen to undim the display, the touch registers which gets annoying, e.g., when that means that menus are popping up in the open app and I have to touch again to close them. Is there a way to emulate iOS behavior here, i.e., when dim the first touch to the screen undims and only successive touches register?
Man, does anyone have a solution for this?
Greetings, using an E975 which recently had to get its screen+digitizer changed, which is working fine except for a little issue, touches get registered about 1-1.5mm lower compared to where I touched. So vertical orientation is a bit off, horizontal appears ok.
Old/original digitizer didn't have such an issue. Rom is official 4.4.2.
I tried pretty extensively for a touch calibration app as well as looked in the menu for a built-in option but no luck. Any ideas?
it seems like the curved part of my edge isnt responding to touch. i think the touch screen ends right before it curves. is this supposed to happen? i noticed this when i tried to scroll to the beginning of a song in the google music app. but it doesnt go all the way to 0:00 because it extends into the curve. i hope my screen isnt defective. please help
Hi everyone.
I have recently had my screen replaced. After playing around, i quickly noticed that my keyboard screws up when i start typing.
The faster i type, the worse the problem is.
I checked touch response times and achieves normal times of about 60ms, however, i turned on touch overlay in developer settings and noticed that if i touch opposite sides of the screen quickly (to simulate typing), it would draw lines between the touches as if i was dragging between the two points.
This is what causes my keyboard to do funky stuff and heavily lag when typing fast.
Please note that this never happened before the screen replacement, and a hard reset didnt fix the problem.
Is there any software fix for this, or do i need another screen?
thanks.

I mainly work on iPhones, but it sounds like your digitizer is out of calibration. Don't know if there's a software fix for it, but hopefully this will point you in the right direction. Also I'd take it back to the place you had it repaired and see if they can fix if it's still warrantied.
Hey all,
I have a Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra on ATT, and i think it has a mind of its own. I haven't been able to capture any footage of this, but the phone will randomly do things like, if I'm in my text messages, it will select one and tap the text bar repeatedly, or it will quit out of whatever app I'm using, or it will go to the screen that shows all the apps i have running. It always does this 5 or 6 times in the span of a second or two.
Any help is appreciated.
Do you have a screen protector on? I've had this before (not on this device) and it was due to a bad glass screen protector install.
You can try turning accidental touch protection on, and turning touch sensitivity off in Display in settings.
