Hi,
Firstly I would like to apologize for my english.
I have a problem with my Note 3 Neo LTE (SM-N7505). I have Android 4.4.2 without any modification.
The problem is when I connect to a bluetooth dispositive with multimedia control through bluetooth, like a multimedia car system, and play music with A2DP, I can´t control the multimedia (play, pause, go forward, go back) with the buttons of the dispositive. When I push a button the movil do not nothing, it does not recognize it. I tried it with a lot of system, 4 multimedia car systems, 2 gamepads, 1 keyboard... I can use the other buttons (in the keyboard and the gamepad) but the multimedia buttons doesn´t play, pause, go back... the music.
Could someone help me with the problem??.
Thank you very much, and sorry again for my english.
I continue with the same problem... Can anyone help me ?

does anyone know of any models of car stereo that you can hook a g2 into and control the g2's music player (or that has a corresponding separate music playing app that is controllable at least). i'd like to be able to hook up my phone by usb and then use the deck controls (or even better the controls on my wheel) to skip forward / back / pause, etc.
i've been searching and everything says "ipod/iphone" compatible and nothing mentions android. at best they say that the music will play thru via usb, but not whether or not you'll actually be able to control the music too.
thanks for the info
Dave
The Desire Z works with all (the) cars (I have tried) that have Bluetooth. You have to switch to BT Audio not just BT Phone, but then the controls work just fine.
Pretty much ANY USB automotive HU will work fine. It does NOT play music through the USB as fruitjunk does though... you plug the phone in, enable MASS STORAGE MODE, and use the HU to browse/select/play the mp3 file. The audio decoding happens in the HU, not the phone. No need to do things the iDiot way.
Alternatively, you need a BT HU that supports AVRCP, then you can use the HU to control the phone's media application.
thanks
hey thanks to both of you. great info. just out of curiosity, do you guys actually use these features? and what head unit are you using?
thanks
I use a Sony bt3600u stereo that works fine with BT. Allows pausing/Playing, Skipping forwards & backwards of tracks on the stock music app.
Doesn't display track names etc (Just says 'BT Audio') but that doesn't bother me.
This is my stereo: Link
Hope that helps
I just bought a mw600 for my sony acro s, tried to connect & use but I am depressed:
1. Track name is not showed in lcd. While it is working fine & smoothly with many models of the other brands, 2 product of sony not compatible is really difficult to accept
2. Firstly i connect & play walkman, the sound appear. But when I push call button of headset phone access voice command, but when i finish call work can not hear any sound any sound from media even walkman still running, media buttons (play, pause, next, previous) are still working fine, only sound disappears. I access to Bluetooth setting & find that if I disconnect phone audio, the sound of media return back automatically. But it disappears when I check to connect phone audio again, of course i can not use headset to call if I disconnect phone audio. i try to connect with my last headset Motorola hd-9, it is working fine, change from media to call or opposite automatically.
Please help me to solve above 2 problem.
Thank you so much

I believe some media players allow you to control via a bluetooth headset.
So I have mounted my N7 2013 LTE in my car and was looking to add a bit of haptic control with a BT keyboard. I would like to be able to switch between Spotify, Maps, Voice Search, Home, etc very quickly and easily.
Problem is, when I connect a BT keyboard, it only works inside of text fields. I need universal access to these key commands to fire off tasks in Tasker to accomplish my goal. I am fully rooted.
Does anyone have any ideas?
I'm looking for a bluetooth device that can control Android media playback.
I already have the phone paired to a BT device that is connected to the stereo headunit but I have no control over it without handling the phone.
Anyone know of any such device ?
Thank you

Is this along the lines of what you're looking for? (replace " $ " with " . " as I can't link yet...)

I have personally used the following remote, and it works well for the basic functions it has. I returned it because it appears as a keyboard in android, and makes it so I can't get the software keyboard to appear, unless I manually switch keyboards. I also need more buttons then the five it has.

I'm considering getting one of these Nulaxy keyboard/Mouse to BT adapters, and hooking up a small 10 key, and a trackball on either side of my steering wheel.
It just came out in March, and seems to have good device compatibility.

I have also considered getting a ipega telescoping BT controller, and puting each half on either side of the steering wheel.
