Z1 dbrand or slickwraps? - Xperia Z1 Accessories

Hey guys,
I'm looking for a skin for my Z1 and I cannot decide between slickwraps or dbrand...
slickwraps looks really "slick" but I have my doubts about those side stickes as they might peel off real easy?
I had dbrand on my nexus 7 but the corners on the back are kinda sharp!
What's your feedback on this?

Wraps for the OnePlus 2

Hey guys!
Who will be getting some?!
As of this moment there is only Slickwraps that have the skins for OnePlus 2.
Link: https://slickwraps.com/devices/phones/android/oneplus-2.html
I will add the link to Dbrand as soon there will be OnePlus 2 skins available.
So what will you be getting?!
I've had only Dbrand skins on my phones, so far! They are very precise and high quality. But I am probably going with the Slickwraps for this phone, because Dbrand never includes the side wraps, and I want to protect the frame of the phone!
So what are your thoughts on this?
And please share the photos, if and when you'll have it!
Cheers
I'm getting a sample from them in the mail any day now, I can try to make some decent pictures if you'd like.
Yes, please do! I am always looking for the best option to protect my investments, I've had Diztronic TPU and Orzly tempered glass on my OnePlus One, but I've got so much dust on the edges that I've ended up scratching my screen..
So this time around I am planing to buy wraps for the back, camera and the sides and put my phone in a pouch, as I do not drop my phone, but I am highly sensitive about scratches..
If anyone is interested in a pouch I will buy it from here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/Begoos This are very high quality made pouches!
Just ordered the gun metal slick wrap. I wonder how well it will stay on the sandstone back?

I think its similar to the OPO back, so it should stay on pretty good. I am not planing to cover the back thou. I am interested to wrap the sides.. As the back is easy to exchange, and I don't want to damage the metal.. I would probably go with the Dbrand, if I would cover the back only. And that's only because I've had absolutely no problems with any of my skins from them, also the shipping was very fast!
I hope to see some pics, when you get it!

dbrand skin and screen protector?

Does anyone know of a screen protector that is just the rectangle where the screen is? I'm looking for one since I would also like to apply a front skin from dbrand. I have slickwraps on my HTC One M8 and dbrand on my Nexus 7 2013, and so far I think dbrand sticks to the device much better.

Case/bumper and screen protector

Hello dear users,
Please recommend some protective accessories for OP3T. I took a look on what is trending but i saw different opinions about it.
My choice until now are Rhino Shield products.
What do you recommend?

I received a Rhinoshield bumper case for review which I only got today, so I won't post my review on xda for a tad bit after some usage.
But it ripped the top of my dbrand skin, kinda hard to put on. It's lightweight which is nice, but it feels really weird on the sides and wiggles a bit more down the left and right side after it was such a pain and a tight fit to get on.
I'm sure it will protect the device really well, but I don't like the build feel of it. Quality like I said.. as good as they say, but it feels a tad bit cheap and I don't like the wiggle.

I'm not 100% sure but if you want one that covers 90% of the screen and has the adhesive on the entire screen and not just the sides, the tempered glass FULL curved one from the official OnePlus website is the only decent one
best one I've tried so far (and I've tried a few) is the Orzly
https://www.amazon.co.uk/OnePlus-Pr...id=1491429410&sr=8-3&keywords=Orzly+oneplus+3.
For the bumper I'm quite happy with the Spigen Rugged Harmor:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/OnePlus-Sp...=1491429636&sr=8-1&keywords=spigen+oneplus+3t
So far, like the previous reply, my best experience has been with the orzly tgsp. And both the spigen rugged armor and neo hybrid provide great protection. Plus the orzly fits well with both of those cases. Idky the orzly gets so much hate from people. I only see the dot matrix and any reflectiveness when the screen is off and sitting on my table
Another vote for the Spigen rugged armor case and one for the Diztronic, both slim cases with good matte finish and feel. The Spigen fits tighter though.

A number of stores sell, what they claim to be, 100% original OP3 cases.
Check this link.
Judging by all the comments and the rating, they seem to be legit. And they're around the same price, plus free shipping.

Why would you want to wrap that beauty in a skin anyways? The gunmetal one looks nice, but midnight black is damn sexy.
The skins are ugly, I got the ebony wood case right before they ran out & when I was opening the package I used scissors & I put a big gash in my ebony woodcase, and I ain't havin no scratch on my brand-new case so I went to order a new one but they're all sold out. The case looks good though

Only because the midnight black is so slippery. I hate cases but a skin is acceptable.

Are the wood cases made out of real wood? I'm wondering cuz on ebay there's a bunch of 3rd party cases that are supposed to be out of wood but almost all the time they are just plastic/rubber in wood optic... :/

I'm not sure cause they feel smooth.
I am content with this setup for now. That's my swift dark themed chrome/s8 widget. I checked widget overlap in Nova launcher then got the kwgt s8 pack then I change the color of the calendar to swift dark with this code ff232329
Then i just set the 2 widgets side by side.
I got this

Hey .. Which tempered Glass Screen Protection you're using ???
Im using plastic screen guard,
If you wanna apply tempered glass then go for full cover, you can find it in local stores with price around rs.150. Better then the normal tempered glass but i must warn you that that full panel tempered glass makes the phone bit cheap as the screen seems bit inside of the glass with a gap.. Which i personally felt bit unattractive
Thus i returned to screen guard

DBrand skin feedback

Hi everybody,
Today I'm loocking for a dbrand skin for Pixel 2xl Panda.
I would like to protect him with panda skin from Dbrand and i'm loocking for some feedback about the durability of this skin and eventually some tips for a clear case to show it

It's good stuff, I had it on my moto z. As far as clear cases, the spigen liquid crystal is what I have on my panda right now. It's good but it discolored after a while.

Yeah I read that TPU turn yellow after week/months.
So I would like a bumper (maybe rhino) but I want a protection to cover the back of the Pixel 2xl. It's a very sensitive material.
I've been rockin a dbrand skin & grip since dbrand released them.... got sucked in from all the advertising on LTT. But I've gotta say they're both great & worth the price! Well, sorta...
So the original grip case you had to order off indiegogo, I don't think it's available any more. But after a little more than a year of use the harden plastic around the rubberized power button has broken. The case is still functional and held together but the rubberized button. The hard rubberized corners and grip have worn soft and rounded. Yes, I use my phone a lot especially the double press power for the camera. It was expensive for a bumper type case, but was worth it IMO. I've dropped this phone more times than I'd care to admit and not a mark on it, even landing screen first. I'm happy with the year and a bit I've gotten from this case and would order another.
The grip case came with a back skin, I had to RMA my original 2 XL because of a camera issue and ordered a replacement skin while it was in for RMA. When you order the back skin they actually send you two skins. One is just the back and ends at the "edge". The second will wrap around the sides. I had ordered a matching front skin as well. The skin can be challenging to line up and apply, but you can peel it off and reapply if its not 100%. I may just have sucked at applying the wrap around skin, but I couldn't get the seams to line up perfectly, no matter how hard I tried (had the same problem with the skin for my iPad mini 4) . Since I had the grip case, I just applied the back only skin and have been happy with that. As for the front skin, I think because of the slight curve to the screen it never adhered properly, even after a bit of heat with a hairdryer to get it to take the shape, and eventually peeled off. There also isn't much material, so not worth it IMO.
I'd definitely buy their cases again but would only get the back skins.
