buy it or not?

im buying the phone for 150 bucks (used), i really want an android phone, so, do you think its a good offer?

Agreed. If you're on a tight budget, it's one of the better cheap android phones on Verizon.

HTC Incredible sells used for $59.99 on Cowboom. It's a respectable company, a subsidy of Best Buy, and returns have free shipping. Condition of the phone varies, but you'll find everything from brand-new to well-used, with new stock coming in every day. I'm not allowed to post links, so please Google it yourself.

That is pricey.
I was going to list two for 70 bucks a piece and thought even that might be pricey.

Check out Ebay if you're looking for a used device. I did a quick search and found many under the $150 price point you're considering.

I definitely wouldn't take that deal. But, I would certainly get a Dinc, I got mine when it first came out and have been loving it everyday since. I was thinking of moving to a G.Nexus but recently flashed a ICS ROM so I don't expect to make a switch anytime soon

Note 2 at Best Buy

Just wanted to let you guys know most of the BB stores in my area had the phone in stock as of yesterday while none of the AT&T stores had any inventory.
They price matched Amazon wireless' price of $249 which is always nice. Also another advantage to some is that you can purchase a protection plan for $10 month, which is a lot easier to deal with than the carriers' 3rd party insurance providers.
YMMV on the price match but there's no real reason they wouldn't. Good luck guys!

Nice find as I did the same myself. They only had it in white where I went. They will price match it. There website says so. For new customers who want a white one, amazon is selling it for $174.99. Bb will honor that as well.

Nice! Which reminds me, unlike the AT&T store if the price drops even more within the 30 day return window (probably will with Christmas around the corner) I can take my receipt back to BB for another price match and get real money back, instead of credit towards a future bill (how AT&T handles price adjustments).

If I'm not sure AT&T changed the return policy to 15 days not 30. Just about amonth or so ago..But if BB is honoring that great deal there.

I just got the Note 2 today as an upgrade for $174.99 with Amazon Wireless price match. The White one goes for $174.99 while the Titanium Grey goes for $249.00 for a new line only.
Shocked that I got the adding a new line discount price instead of the higher upgrading a line price.
I went to the store when it was very busy and the employees were somewhat overwhelmed.
I will use the savings to buy the smart dock or the Otterbox.

I went to Best Buy when Amazon had it on for $174.99 and they wouldn't price match it for me, they said because it was on backorder through Amazon. So I went to AT&T and they had no problems price matching it even though it was on BO. I gave them my IPhone 4S got $207 for trade in and got the Note 2 for $174.99 and $21.00 credit with AT&T lol.

Did you do an upgrade at AT&T? or new line?

I got an early upgrade from AT&T so I never really thought of trying to price match as they shipped me the phone. I sold my Iphone 4 for $200 on craigslist . So, I ended up only paying $100. I really wish I Got the white one though, my GF has a white GS3 and didn't want to seem....feminine. But, after having my grey one, I wouldn't mind it.

I have a white one and thought that with the note 1. Until I returned my black note one for a white one. Now I have the white note and it looks great. The gray looks awesome too.

I bit on the deal. Could never quite stomach the MSRP for these things, but for 179 it was impossible to resist. Don't tell my wife.

I bought one at this price today. I had one I (steel band) I paid $299 for and returned. Couldn't stomach the price for an accessory. But $179 sealed the deal for me.

I checked the date on my receipt, was hoping I could get a price match. Sadly, it's been 35 days

Picked one up today. 179.00 crazy they had open box 360 same style not the steel for 224.00 that makes no sense

Same deal here, metal band, plus student discount, plus, a few giftcards with some lingering balances. Got the metal band for $170, finally pulled the trigger.

So after I just purchased the one with leather band yeaterday. I noticed online that they dropped the price for the one with the steel band to 220. To it back and made the swap.

That's a damn good deal.
I just picked up the last black steel. I'm going to return the zinger in a couple of days.

You think they will let you return the zinger? that would be hilarious if they accepted that return. Let us know how that goes.

I did the exact same thing today, but my total was $143 because I got the black stainless steel version. I'm going to take the phone back tomorrow and get my $40 back... That means I got a Black Stainless Still Moto 360 for $94.99 + taxes I super pumped.
Black 360 $220
Zte Zinger $40
Total $260 - $100rebate & $25 student discount = $135
Returning the phone tomorrow, final price $95.

Several people over on Slick Deals have confirmed they have returned their cheap android phones for a refund without a problem. They've also posted receipts, I think the only reason it works is because you don't get a discount on the phone all the discounts are listed under the watch. So unless you returned the watch there's nothing to charge...

Exactly what I did. Around $102 out the door. Also, doing the Verizon Trade-In deal on the ZTE Zinger that will give me a $100 VZW credit that I can swap for cash with my parents. So in the end, the Moto 360 only cost me like $2!!! :good:

Coming in at a whopping (UK drew the short straw price) £800! #still cheap than an iPhone X.

You are forgetting the asking "price" is not THE real "street" price AFTER launch. LG phones drop in price considerably a month or two after launch. Go look on eBay or Amazon and see what a new 32GB LG G6 is going for now?
This one is the European carrier unlocked model, which also qualifies for bootloader unlock:

Sure enough, it's now almost half the cost since beginning of summer.
I'm going to wait for the carrier unlocked version (mid-November) and then I'm going to wait until the carrier unlocked version is listed on LG's official bootloader unlock list (probably end of December).
By then, hey the price will have dropped dramatically, I predict.

even after 2-3 months from 800 pounds to 600 its still fking BS. it's already 600 in the US.... it will be cheaper right now to use a freight forwarder in the US and send it here at 650GPB including shipping and tax @ your front door!!!! better yet, got a mate in the US the shipping will drop from 50GPB to like 20GPB!

Has the dual-SIM version been scrapped?

Pre-ordered mine from Mobiles.co.uk on O2. 3gb data unlimited texts and minutes. £29 per month and £150 up front. Used code vc15off to make that £135 up front.
Coming from a Nexus 6p. Have liked stock android but not impressed with the Pixel 2 XL decision to not have a 3.5mm headphone jack. Plus it looks too damned huge.
Short list was;
- Sony XZ Premium - camera distortion issues put me off
- Samsung Note 8 - Size, weight, poor audio output
- Nokia 8 - Lack of cases, screen protectors
Waiting for the 1st November.

For those who didn't pre-order; Is it impossible to buy one without the ridiculous 3rd party mark up price?

I got mine from bestbuy without a preorder at regular price.

I got mine at an AT&T store without a preorder.

I forgot to mention, I am from Canada.
From what I recall, there were quite limited numbers even in the US.
Do any of you guys know what avenues I can go through to aquire one?

None of the Best Buy stores in Austin will be carrying it per instore Samsung rep. Trying to find one around Austin/San Antonio area.

Bought one last week from BB. It took 9 days to get it.

Basically... yes. Go to ebay, and find somebody selling it with the proof of purchase. As long as you have that you get the concierge + one time $150 screen replacement. I paid 2200 for mine.

I bought mine on a EE (UK) contract for £50 up front (took about a week to come). Shame it's costing me £119 a month, but I do get 2 years of Amazon Video, plus 6 months of Apple Music and few other extras. I worked it out that it's only slightly more than getting an iPhone 11 Pro Max, but you are getting something far more unique with the Fold.

The Fold isn't sold in the Netherlands, so I ordered one from Samsung Germany. This had the bonus of scoring me the 5G model (F907B), too.

Got mine from the Samsung Store in the UK, they had 2 in stock at the time (9 days ago)

i just waited for the reveal of the motorola razr, and what a shame, the leaks from months ago were all accurate.
now i'm really considering the fold.

The Razr is nice and all that, but those specs and that battery don't cut the mustard at that price IMHO
