Found a link it unpacks boot.img just right but when it repack all the changes you made in ramdisk does not carry..

Now here I have uploaded exracted images etc.from the new

How can I change the kernel options for Cyanogen Mod 9? I have stock CM9 on my Galaxy Nexus (sprint) and want to modify the kernel to use V4L2 drivers.
How can I do this?
My guess is something about creating a new boot.img.

build it from cm9 source yourself, modify what you need.
shouldnt it be possible to download the kernel source: e.g.:
1) >> git clone [h t t p s].github[dot com]/CyanogenMod/cm-kernel.git
2) Edit the config file.
3) Make --> Obtain zImage and Modules
4) And then modify the boot.img file
5) And then flash the entire CM9.zip rom?
hi XDA,
i want to modify Settings.apk and add some apk´s to my Lollipop ROM (deodexed and zipaligned).
it was no problem to get a zip template for KK, but now LP has another file structure (each apk has its own folder).
Can somebody post here such a .zip template for LP deodexed ROM that i can make a flashable zip file for my modifications?

I have found some info about this and want to share them...
1)The bootlogo in our gio is hided in GIO.rle in the root of the phone(/Gio.rle)
2)It can be changed by modifing the ramdisk and boot.img
3)This work is done by some roms...
4)It looks simple that we can use android img kitchen and repack it/replacing that by TWRP file manager or root explorer.

when you do that ,its will be replaced with the original one in first boot.Although I have tried flashing modified boot.img and so others........
