Alright folks. Got mine home a few hours ago and been muddling for a bit until I get my bearings. Started with a Zooper I made using wearable widgets. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wearablewidgets
Impressions initially of the battery impact on my nexus made me notice. The widget also appears to have a black imperfection above the notorious bar on the moto. Here is a photo of it on my wrist.

The black bar is a feature called notification overlay. .. to make notifications easy to be seen. ... it's on by default. . You can disable it in the settings in the wear widgets app

Facer is actually my app! It allows you to make custom watchfaces using either simple tags or complex math, think of it like zooper or uccw.

I was responding to the guy who asked about my face.
After talking some more, I'll buy Facer and make my clocks compatible with that too.

ok now that they added weather, I am thinking about using BW as my main watch designer.
I have been playing with text effects today - here's what I have come up so far using the stencil and flat shadow effects.
You can use any picture you like for the stencil.

Stencil Dark
I have uploaded all the .watch files to the link at the top of the thread.
Please let me know what you think of my designs.

Another design - this time using shaders.
The face reveals itself every hour, then goes back to black!

Got a new watch today - hope you guys enjoy these!
This one is called Sweepster as the lighter ring sweeps around the darker ring using a shader.

I am also working on some faces with weather, but want to change the graphic for the new weather widget in Beautiful Watches - does anyone know how to do this yet?

These look really great! I've been messing around with it recently and have a few I should post up here. Nothing really fancy, but I like them.
They just changed the name of the app to watchmaker, too.

My wear battery app crashes and for some reason another one of my apps starts the music instead of answering the phone lol!

[WatchFace][AndroidWear] Elegance Watch Face

Hello all
This is my atempt at a more elgant Watch Face. Is simple, elegant and has a date indicator visible in normal and ambinet mode.
Is compatible with square and round watches but it will look better on the round ones.
I don't own a smart watch so is only emulator tested. If you can test it and provide feedback I would be grateful.
After install it should appear in the Android Wear app.

The update is on the way

Hello
I'm attaching the updated version for Elegance Watch Face. This should identify if you have a moto 360 and display the bars above the black bar.
If you can test it and maby post a picture it will be great. I don't own a smartwatch and the emulator can't simulate the moto 360 display properties.
In theory it should look something like this. If is working ok, I will publish it to Play Store in a few hours.

Same for me. It's the same as the previous version.

And just as an idea/opinion : would it be possible to try a version with a single color background (the really dark blue metallic) the wrong reflections make it look unnatural in my eyes (it's just an idea, not asking for anything. Thanks for the work )

I'll just add a companion app and you can choose manually that you have a moto 360. Until I get my hands on a moto 360 and find a way to detect it automatically.
 @ChriKn I think it will be very difficult to find the exact color. So I'll add a color picker in the companion so you can tweek and find the exact color you like. I'm out of town this weekend so it may take a few days for the update

Hi, I posted an update for the watch last night with the companion app. I think it should be live on Play Store by now. You can now choose if you fave a moto 360 and a solid color background. Or even a tinted version if you play with the transparency slider.
@ChriKn The dark blue from the original background is something around this value:
Transparency 255
Red 27
Green 27
Blue 35

Thanks ! Looks really nice it seems like you put an overlay over the watch, why not replace it as it looks a bit put on top...

So, on my jailbroken iPhone XS I have a genious tweak that I can click on when I take a screenshot, where it converts the text on the screenshot-text into actual text you can copy.
Anything that does this seamlessly on Android? (Running Galaxy S20 if it matters)

The issue with "regular" apps is that I need to do a screenshot, then open the app, find the SS and then convert to text.
Is there no way of implementing such a thing into the OneUI for example?
So another icon will pop up when I do the SS-shortcut?
Or even making a new shortcut that would "automate" this?

You'd have to ask Samsung about OneUI implementing
The way I do it is just hit the "Share" icon after taking a SS, and share it to the editing app I want to open, pretty much feels like it is part of the SS app that way

This is most likely the best way to do it by far!
Not used to Samsung, so the "share" button wasnt as obvious to me as it should be - but this works very well with Google Lens.

Yea the share feature is very handy for a lot of things, for example you can set up a shared folder on your PC, install Total Commander and the LAN plugin, connect it to the shared folder, then you can use the Share feature to copy files to the PC from the phone via WiFi, select the file > share > total commander > find the PC shared folder > done

Ok, let me start then. Pretty basic and clean.

Using nova launcher because I needed more customization.

Pretty simple so far, haven't really played around with much on the screen

Nova Launcher Prime, and Wallpaper Changer by XDA's @j4velin (not still around? "Last seen Jul 16, 2020" "Inactive Recognized Developer" ) to change wallpapers every time I unlock, and I can double-tap in an empty spot to manually change to the next random wallpaper (of my selected album full of them). Nova Launcher Prime Even restored data via Google in this v7. Most of my wallpapers are fantasy/sci-fi paintings by Jim Burns. I have my camera "app" set to open Google Photos if I swipe down on it, and open the camera folder if I swipe up on it to show all my camera-related apps. Similarly for "Phone", "GPS"/Google Maps, "Messaging", and "Internet". I have Nova set to lock the screen using Accessibility permissions when I swipe down with two fingers. Works great! Swipe left, I still have it go to Google Discover/News.

No. It's the reason I use nova launcher and upgraded it to prime.

Stock launcher,still looking for a decent transparent time only widget to complete it
