Install rom

I have a rom with android 2.3.5 and saftware number 3.13.707.4 and want install a ruu rom on it with android 2.3.5 saftware number 3.13.404.4 and don't installed because it has error 131.
(why?) Please help me to install it.

If flashing a stock ruu from pc you have to have HTC sync installed with drivers.

Follow the rooting guide. Then follow the CyanogenMod 11 thread and you should be good.
