Hey guys,
I am curious. I have been looking at the roms for the Samsung i927 and it doesn't seem there is a custom rom that is fully working. All the roms i see are either no longer developed, built on icecream sandwich or built on the 4.3/4.4 rom where a few features don't work like skype or bluetooth headset profile.
Am i missing something or is there a higher rom than icecream sandwich (preferably 4.3 or 4.4) that is full function/fully operational? thanks in advance
Development is on hold but there is always a hope, As i know bubor has build a good cm11 rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2802184
[DEV][ROM][KK 4.4][Unofficial] CM 11.0 witch it has voip sound if you install tasker or if you install alsa switch app and do it manually, the other issues are no matter build is stable for daily use. If the development wasn't on hold we could have and nearly fully working cm12 but for now you can use cm11 or stick to ics

Hello everyone!
I want to install a new rom onto my arc s, but i don't know what should i choose?
There's the latest CAMPS (i like it because of the tablet mode) :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1928416
and Slim Bean :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1959054
and Jelly Bean 4.1.2:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1979829
and if anyone has another rom PLEASE give me a link.
Thank you.
Try them out and see.
I think CM10 from FXP is most stable AOSP
AOKP by KXP is most feature packed AOSP
But these don't have stock camera HDMI and such working.
If you want AOSP UI with stock features like Sony Camera and HDMI but is stable and fast maybe you should try my ROM beautiful ICS
If you want just a stock ROM with NXT features which is stable and fast then my favourite for that is jaders Ultimate HD Rom.
Depends on what you want

dinesh690, Thank you for your reply.
I REALLY like your rom, i just wish if you could make a jellybean version.
These threads aren't encouraged on the forums as no one can tell you what's best for you. The only way to find out is by going through the Development section, reading the changelogs/features and then trying them out for yourself. This is all part of the fun of being on one of the largest development communities available
Thanks

I currently have the UNOFFICIAL CM 10.2 build, but I havent tried CleanROM yet. Is it any good?
Im running it right now. Its pretty great, fast and smooth
CleanROM is just stock with a few options to install additional apps via the AROMA installer. As of now, I don't think there are any new features to the framework itself. I've used CleanROM back in my TF700 days, but it's generally a stock-based ROM with a few speed tweaks. If you want extra features from AOSP/AOKP/CM, you'd have to go with an AOSP/AOKP/CM rom.
I use SmoothROM on my Grouper N7 and I'm waiting for that to get released. Has overall best balance of what I need out of a ROM.
Hi.
My LT26 is actually on rom stock .211 (tried .96, better battery but trouble with camefa focus).
Was is a good rom for JB 4.2.2 (and what kernel with it) ?
It seems that 4.3 roms are still in testing sequence ?
Thks.
in my opinion the 4.3 rom is more stable than the 4.2.2's I've been using it daily since it's release and never any issues

4.2 rom
I think... PAC rom might be want you are looking for, but I'm not sure... :-?
Different flavours...
Hello,
during the last few months, I tried several roms. If you rely on HDMI and want to have the best from your camera (but not the newest features), you should stick with modifications of the Xperia rom.
Most of the time I had SlimBean on my Xperia S, but they have for now finished the development, stopped with a (in my opinion very good) 4.2.2 stable version. For me it worked perfectly on a everyday basis, stable, fast, and with a very nice all-black interface (as most roms offer now). You can download it on their website. And here is the link to the according xda-thread. But many links on that forum thread are now dead, as the downloads have been moved to the "Old Releases" section on the website. If you want to use another kernel with it, I chose the OpenSEMC beta2 kernel, but I did not find any differences in comparison to the stock SlimBean kernel. Don't use 3.4 kernels with the 4.2.2 SlimBean Roms! SlimBean relies on 3.0 kernels, here is a discussion about this topic.
But now I wanted to have some android 4.3 running, and so far I see only two options for that:
The PAC beta1 which I have currently installed (still some issues there, but is OK for daily use and FAST), and the AOSP alpha1 which I have not tested so far.
I hope this helped you a little bit! If so -> thanks-button is waiting
RC2 kernel should be the same as slim bean hence not noticing any difference.
I'm still on aosp 4.3 and it's still consistently smooth and fast

OpenSEMC beta2 with SlimBean, NOT the RC2
Hello,
as corrected by now, I made a mistake in my post above, it is the OpenSEMC beta2 kernel you need for the use with SlimBean, NOT the RC2.
In this post is an according link (second one).
Any forecast about a stock JB 4.3 launch for XS? When?
Every AOSP or AOKP rom I try even with different kernels such lean kernel or cyanogen mod does not work well with snapchat and skype alternatives or specific roms that work with these ? might have to revert back stock.
Hello lads, this is Shawiee.
I was running on SVHD 2.1 android 4.0.4, sense 4.1 but I want a higher android because of emojis as they're not supported on ICS. Can you guys please give me any recommendation of a custom ROM running android 4.1+, but it has to be fast and bug-free, the other things doesn't matter. I've been trying to install custom ROMS but the only ones that are blazing fast and bug free are the Sensed ROMS. Any of you got a good Custom ROM for me?
