and i saw these phones have engineering modes like MTK so i decided to make a App
which can let us view these modes.

Help me I have baseband unknow
I have a sc6820 D3 D45z and I flash them withe a bin backup from the piranha box crack, but when I tried to fix the imeis all appear me just null and in about the phone in the section baseband appear me unknow I think that be my problem How can I do?

errors related to baseband refers to NVITEMS.bin from your backup.
you should try full/format except bootloader then reflash firmware without NVITEMS

I just have this backup in extension .bin I dont have the flash firmware or the nvitems how can I do?

Good friend I'm new here and my device is spd Sc8830 it only have engineermode.apk and engineermode.odex how do I send it these files to you?
I want to change the imei of my device but sc8830 devices has no spot it the engineering mode that says change Imei like other chip eg sc68**.etc.....so it always comes up with phone not responding whenever I click write on spd write tool.......please I don't no if u can help me should I send u the engineermode.apk and engineermode.odex

I uploaded the files on 4shared but as a new member I'm not allowed to post outside links.meanwhile i cant find an attachement column on this site like the one found on mail sites.
I don't know if you can work on the one posted above by our fellow member.but if you think that all sc8830 engineeringmode.apk are not same then let me know and put me through on how to post the files here as i also have the .odex file.

I wanna change my IMEI but I want a process on fone not pc, i have tried exposed installer + imei changer module, it worked but doesn't use glo bb sub, it's just masquerading that's all
I tried terminal emulator process too, different combinations like 100,none worked

Instuction
1. Full Charging/ Power off
2. Go to download mode by Pass and hold Task ball and Endkey then pass Power on
3. Plug in USB this shuld pop up found new hardware
3. Install USB Driver
4. then check what port has been detect by
Control Panal/System/Hardware/Device Manager/Com Port/ and look for number of Attila port (ex: My port is 22)
5. Flash Chinese Rom after it done
6. Flash Motorola Surf A3100 6.5WWE biuld 21903 with New M2D_by Chai2porn
After first boot Please Clean boot once by Pass and hold Send/End key and then Power on

Install This Fix.cab to get the weather update on M2D Home

After update install this fix and restart once. that will work.
This fix only can bring The weather plugin from weather tap to display on M2D home.
It's not actuary up date your google location.

ํYes it should be WAV file that could use in Alarm.
It's limited performance for WM alarm.

for your new ROM maybe you can fix for Audio Booster since in this ROM did'nt work.

quick question. there was a way to change the registry to obtain other OEM market access. However, that method lead to non functionality of any market app installed on the phone after using it a few times. Only a hard reset or restore of a backup would cure the phone. I assume this method does not have that problem.
I tried a few OEMs and so far no problems. thanks again.
since it only works after soft reset, maybe an option to reboot the phone would be nice.

glad you find it useful. when you save OEM and/or MO they are saved in !SavedDefault folder in the application's folder.
When I tap on Save OEM, I get to see Save MO but when I tap on Save MO, the app exits.

does the LKG_MOStoreConfig.xml get saved to !SavedDefault folder in the application's install folder? or does it just close the app without saving?
i am changing the way OEM & MO are saved in the next release; will be done automatically on first boot of application.
hope to release it tonight or tomorrow, depending on time.

this happened to me before with the old xap files where you apply one for each oem ,,,
is there the same risk here with this one?
which XAP files? I haven't had any problems with Market changing with Market Select thus far.

Market Select uses the same style of implementing the Market change, but not in the same method.

Hi, I have used this method in my app, but for use this you must change a lot of things in the provxml, for example if you have this in your provxml value="1" you must write value=\"1\" also you must remove the space from > to the next <

can you please build skydriveupload in? thx,i think this feature would be great,because marketplaceskydrive can only upload the excel and office files,fotos etc,i want to uplaod also every data in every folder i want to upload.The reason why i say this is because i can download things with opera(like ebooks in epub,which i want to uplaod on skydrive to download it in freda)and want to upload them to skydrive to use them without my pc(like in example there up).

Does this rom support the 808 version of this phone
Whats with the RM803_12w07_prod_generic_nokia_osbl.esco file that is in your lumia 900 folder (RM-803 is a Lumia 710)?
Im pretty sure you cant use it on a Lumia 900?
Probably a mistake, the real unlocked bootloader is installed using ATF.
I know the bootloader can only be written by ATF. I did follow the topic in the original thread.
The topics on the custom roms are confusing to people who did'nt follow development and are assuming these are roms they can flash without the use of commercial flash tools like ATF.
Another confusing thing is having bootloaders from other devices floating around in the download folder (named Lumia 900) people are send to. I know i cant flash it to mu Lumia 900 but how many dont know?
We must just wait. Someone finally will get full access to nand or etc and all we can flash our phones via usb, as many other phones. But i can't understand Nokia policy, why make that stupid bootloader? For what? Nokia already selling his phones very hard.
Hi, I downloaded the firmware in navifirm and flashed it using the Nokia Support Tool and it's working perfectly my firmware ver. now is 2175.2907.8858.13030 :laugh:

Steps required :
1. Install Alcatel One Touch Manager
2. Install Root Master (In Chinese Language ONLY)
3. On device, check USB debugging & Allow mock locations
4. Open Root Master, connect the device to computer via USB cable
5. After the device successfully connected, the GREY button in the red box will turn GREEN
6. Click on the GREEN button and wait for the process to complete
7. Device will reboot and now a Chinese superuser app will be there in the app drawer
8. Now the device is rooted & enjoy the superuser privilege
ADDON for non-chinese user :
For those who doesn't like or don't know chinese language, you can switch to another superuser app
1. Download SuperSU app from the attachment
2. Place the app in /system/app/ with the file explorer that have root access such as Root Explorer or equivalent
3. Set the permission rw-r--r--
4. Disable the chinese superuser app so that only one superuser app run at each time
5. Reboot
6. Check the root status using Root Checker
***If this screen is displayed out, congratz and now you are having root access with SuperSU app which is in English version. Enjoy
***If you wants to remove the Chinese superuser, now you are very safe to remove it from /system/app/

after installed superSU or superuser via cwm or playstore (make sure binary updated and binary access accepted 1st), download any bloat remover exp : nobloat or master uninstaller from playstore. then uninstall the Chinese superuser. restart. DONE.

Thanks to the reply that given by you to the others...
There is an alternative way to achieve it by using root explorer or equivalent.
Go to /system/app and delete the chinese superuser apk
Place the superSU.apk inside the /system/app and set permission to rw-r--r--
(Last time I've tried to download and install the superSU from playstore and update the binary but the superSU seems doesn't work if it didn't placed as system app. But if works for your phone then congratz)

hahahaha... see when i free, maybe try add in some mod.. but the problem is cwm does not work properly in this phone.. heard few hardbrick when flash cwm.. maybe i try signed the zip so that can use in stock recovery..

Thanks for the rooting guide, u using that phone currently ? can you upload the EngineerModeSim.apk here (inside the system/app)? because i deleted it to prevent it lock my phone if i use other carrier sim card...but i need to get it back if i want to have system updates.
Need that apk files badly ~

Sorry for late reply....I mostly active in the i9001 forum and recently busying with my college project...Here you go~
You are just lucky that I didn't deleted that apk during I clean up the bloatwares by Alcatel~
Since the apk is odexed maybe you need the odex file as well..(It is a compressed file, not a CWM flashable)

For your issue, I can't test it out because I've deleted the one touch manager apk file inside my phone. However, in order to root this phone we do not need the help of the one touch manager. We install it just because we want the driver that came with the package.
You just straight away use the Root Master to check for the phone driver status etc, if everything ok the button at the bottom right will turn green. Click on the green button to root it and you are good to go

i change desc.txt 320X480 fsp 30.and suddenly it become blank.
and internal storage cannot be found in my computer .what i suppose to do?

Actual location for boot screen:
/custpack/JRD_custres/Bootanimation.zip and set permission rw-r--r--
Seems you not delete the "Thumb.db" inside the folder that cause that problem. recover firmware with Mobile Upgrade S.

Easiest method now to root using Framaroot.apk.. Install apk & with 1 click you success root your device..
