The ROM is still in pre-nightly and by flashing it you are helping the pre-nightly Testing process
It may still have some bugs, spontaneously reboot, drain the battery faster or heat up a bit. The aim is to make it better and fix them.
If you find a bug and want to report it here please post a logcat (after it occurred) with a description of what you were doing at the time and the rough timing in the logcat to look at (these things get huge!).
You can also post a dmesg which is the kernel boot logs and can indicate issues with data corruption or hardware.
If you get a reboot then please post a last_kmsg from the /proc folder.
How to get a logcat
How to get useful logs

A huge thanks to @lj50036, @hardslog, and @scanno for bringing LP to the ME301T !
Thanks for your efforts. I am very happy.

@lj50036, @hardslog, and @scanno thank you for the magnificent work
First, I said it before, but I will say it again, @lj50036. @hardslog and @scanno, thanks for all the hard work. The ROM is running great, no SOD either...YAY!!!
Now, stupid question that I most likely already know the answer for... I am on the 20150516 version already. I can just flash the -enforced version over it right? I don't need to do a clean install again do I? Thanks
Twrp will format your old ROM anyway so no, you can't flash the enforced ROM over the existing one. Just do a dalvick / cache wipe and flash. It will be a clean install but you will still have all of your files in the Tab's internal memory. Gapps should restore all of your previously installed apps and settings.
all my apps and such are backed up with Titanium anyway so will just install that app and go from there
Hi guys,
I have a stupid question: I have TWRP 2.8.1 and i have already 5.1.1 (it was flashed with out any issue).
The question is - is it OK to stay on this TWRP or i will have a problems and better to update?
And the second: is it ok to flash from 2.8.1 to 2.8.6 via fastboot? (on the original site it is info that i have to update through 2.8.4, but where to obtain 2.8.4 for me301?)

If you hold of I am going to be releasing a KANG version of my TWRP....

Well in my case with banks it felt like i bought the tablet with lollipop pre-installed by asus, everything went smooth just like when i first turned on the tablet. With minimal on the other hand i couldn't get past language selection screen. Some ".com process stopped working" pop-up kept showing on the screen. Tried to wipe cache and stuff but it proved to be a no-go.
what works in this rom?

Flashed the ROM on my ME301T but the aroma GAPPS installer hung up, so I went with PA GAPPS. So far, no SOD like I got with KatKiss. :good:
Fantastic thank you
Wow, this is great. I've applied it to my ME301T which has CWM recovery and it works great.
My camera didn't work with OmniROM 4.4.4 it crashed my tablet but EVERYTHING is working brilliantly with this ROM.
Great work. Well done.

Seems to work really well from a quick play around. Thanks for this, only thing I noticed is there didn't appear to be a battery status for the keyboard dock
Edit: Attempting to swype on the stock keyboard also seems to crash the keyboard
WiFi also seems to turn off during sleep despite choosing to always keep WiFi on during sleep
We don't make mistakes, We just have happy accidents.

What do you mean if there is a kernel for this ROM? Without kerel it would not even boot
If you mean a custom kernel? I do not know. Have a look around, but do not think there is a custom kernel for Omni.
If there is a good custom kernel, it needs the Omni ramdisk.

WELCOME TO CYANIDE L
ROM INFORMATION
ORIGINALLY based on CyanogenMod but not even close to being a CM base at this, this ROM is PACKED FULL of features from the wonderful custom ROM teams we have all come to know and love. This ROM is at a very stable and mature state at this point but I will continue to update frequently as things progress along even further into Lollipop and more features become available but GOOD LUCK trying to find features we don't support. I am OPEN to requests BUT PLEASE don't take it personal if your request isn't filled (doesn't happen often but I will only add things that I think somebody will find useful and worthwhile) as I am usually very busy and do this ALL myself, me, I LOL and my themer @TheGeekyNimrod of course but I have taken over theming duties as he has become very busy with life, school and his family but if it's theme related complain to him even tho I'm the one who made our latest theme engine apk LOL
IF you are using Xposed, do everyone a favor PLEASE and DO NOT post bug reports because we WILL laugh at you, in the forum, numerous times hahaha. Ok enought joking around, get to flashing already and let me know what you think, we both know you are sick or reading this at this point anyway. Hurry hurry!!!! Good things come faster to those who already have a backup LOL
PS: This Thread OP was copied from its source over at the AT&T Threads.

Update: I have Compiled the 5.0.2 version with no errors and booted with no problem.
This Rom Which is LP 5.1 is 330megs big, I installed on MultiRom as secondary on a 10 gig partition that I created and already have 6 other roms on.
It wouldnt get out of the boot loop for me. I tried injecting a Boo.img that I know for a fact works. and it still boot looped.
What im thinking is the MultiRom and running low on that 10gig partition, So im going to run some test and see.
Please Make a nandroid Backup if your going to try this rom, at least till I can confirm this Rom boots for people.
I am working on it. I kinda posted it prematurely But I dont know if its the ROM or my MultiRom setup.
Thats why Im going to Backup my PacROM and install as Primary and see if it works then...
If this doesnt boot for anyone. Then just give me time.. Ill get it working.
The rom was Built by @rogersb11 who is on the D850 series. so getting it to work for Ours should be no problem.
I have given him and @aclegg2011 access to make changes to this thread if needed.
PS: Update: The LP 5.0.2 Version does work.. The LP 5.1.X version doesnt get past the boot loop for me.
Clean flashed the LP 5.1.X version about 5 minutes ago and boot animation is still going on. Not running Multirom.
Shall wait for another couple of minutes and then try a working boot.IMG from another 5.1.1 ROM & see what happens.
Have about 4 boot.IMG's to play with.

Being chock-full of features there's little want for Xposed. Nice.

AICPAndroid Ice Cold Project
AICP is known by everyone as Ice Cold Project that started on Desire HD and since then evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community you can find!!!
Until Lollipop, Rom has always been AOKP based. Unfortunately, since AOKP either stopped development or will make a comeback later this year, we changed our base to CM when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.
If there are any bugs, either we will sort them or CM team if it concerns their modifications. This rom isn't CM supported so no need to report errors or bugs to them!!

You tell...
ROMS should contain everything you need to enjoy MarshMallow. You are not required to install any Add Ons, simply download the latest ROM, gapps, flash it, and go!
You are STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing, and if possible avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup - these can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug. If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience strange behavior.
How to flash:
Boot into recovery(TWRP)
Wipe data,system and cache
install Rom and Gapps
wipe cache and dalvik
Reboot and enjoy......
Don't do it if you don't know it
ROM has gapps persistance in between dirty flashes
Note:-Only use Gapps pico version, otherwise you may face bootloops.Get it from here:-http://opengapps.org/
*Fixed Gapps bootloops
KERNEL:
Kernel in this rom follows CM source with custom additions.
PREREQUISITE FOR OTA:
To be able to flash over OTA app, TWRP recovery is needed.
You can still use CWM and OTA app, but only to download zip file and flash it manually from within recovery. Zip gets saved under AICP_ota folder on your internal SDcard.

suffering from bootloop
If I flash the rom on its own it boots fine, however if I flash gapps as well then it finishes optimising then bootloops. I do clean flash, wiping everything and I am using open gapps arm 6.0 mini 29/11/15 and the rom version 11.0 unofficial 16/12/2015

Flash latest open gapps arm 6.0,not the older one.
I am using it with open gapps of 15/12/2015 and everything is working fine.
Wipe data,system,dalvik and cache
flash rom and gapps
wipe cache and dalvik
reboot
Regarding Gapps
Note:-Many are facing bootloops with older Gapps,So please use newest Gapps.I recommend Open Gapps arm6.0.Get it from here:-http://opengapps.org/
@ishubhamsingh , a small mistake in the instructions section in the OP.. It says "This rom has every thing you need to enjoy Lollipop".. It's marshmallow

Its wierd because i am using the same rom and gapps and its just running gr8,no fcs and no bootloops,i have even flashed superSu,dolby atmos and project desire sound mod.You are able to boot into rom without flashing the Gapps right?Did you performed a clean install with the latest Gapps.
Can anyone else can confirm the bootloops with Gapps.Try the newest Open Gapps 6.0 coz other device's users have also faced bootloops on AICP 11.0 with old gapps but New gapps solves the problem.

It is working for me,but i saw that many users on other devices are also facing the same issue with AICP 11,so it seems the bug is in the sources. Now either wait for this bug to get fixed in further updates or if you really want to taste this amazing Rom,there is a workaround .
Workaround to avoid Gapps bootloops:-
1.Clean install official CM13 with open gapps
2.Boot and do the general setups.
3.Boot into recovery and dirty flash AICP over it
4.Wipe cache and dalvik
5.Reboot
It should work fine as it has been tested by many users on other devices.Try it if you can and reply asap......

AOKP-ANDROID OPEN KANG PROJECT
What is AOKP?
AOKP stands for Android Open Kang Project. It is a custom ROM distribution for several high-end Android devices. The name is a play on the word kang and AOSP (Android Open Source Project). The name was sort of a joke, but it just stuck, just like our infatuation with unicorns.
We fork the source code of Android that Google puts out in the open with every major version release, and we then add the magical unicorn bytes (read: we add some of the coolest features that are both useful and make your ROM awesome).
With AOKP, you can generally do a lot more with your device than what you could do with the original firmware that came installed on it.
Why AOKP ?
We were waiting for when you'd ask this.
There are a variety of reasons why a hilly billy Android user, on a bright sunny day, would suddenly start using AOKP and loving it.
For one, AOKP is lightweight. Most OEMs provide a heavy UI layer over Android and have loads of bloatware (i.e. apps that not everyone use every day, but you cannot remove because they're "baked in" by default). Since AOKP is built upon vanilla Android source, it has neither of the above.
Also AOKP has features that you will not find on your stock firmware. You can have a multitude of toggles to quickly flip a lot of your phone's settings right at your fingertips, or you can launch apps quickly from any screen using our Ribbons.
You can change almost each and every aspect of the OS, from its looks to the way it functions, with total freedom. And did we tell you, AOKP helps you make tacos?

The device does not boot at all
Hello, I'm new to this kind of stuff, but I followed every step by the book; and still, the device does not boot. I get the message that says the ZIP file has been installed correctly, then the device reboots, and I have a black screen where I cannot even boot into recovery mode. Any help would be much appreciated. Kindly note that I tried the Carbon copy, but I get the same error message as well. Is there anything I do the wrong way or what?

GAPPS: GZR Gapps Zero (pico) | Ezio Gapps Mini (nano) | Open Gapps
First time installing crDroid to your Honor 5x, or coming from another ROM:
** Make sure you're running a proper working Recovery (latest TWRP, 3.2.3 or above)
1) Copy crDroid zip, gapps zip to your device
2) Boot into Recovery
3) Wipe cache, system, & data
4) Flash ROM
8) Flash gapps
9) Boot up
For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk XX.x (whatever is most recent).
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.

Unfortunately no, at least not from me. It sounds like you have the wrong firmware. This isn't an issue with the ROM.

Did you reboot after flashing the ROM and before flashing gapps? You have to flash both before your first boot.
Question. Does this ROM make our kiwi treble compatible? Or because of hardware restraints, no.

Go to your router setting and check which wifi channel it is using. If it's 12 or 13 change it under 10 and see if it fix the problem.
