Thanks for ur straight review. If u dnt like my work thn kindly dnt install any of my roms. Its ur wish to use or not. All bugs are already listed. And if ppl encounter further bugs they report and sooner or later tht got fixed. And abt wasteing time and data.. Hahaha.. i have lots of time and data to waste.. All roms are bug free apart from cam. If thr is they r minor. What's the bug in gidgat? And Mr., No i cannot port a bugfree rom bt still i will port roms and post here. If u have any issue regarding tht dnt open any of my thread. Its my work and if u dnt wanna use thn plz dnt. And frm now stop irritating me and spamming my thread.

Grab modem.img file from any rom with working 3g and just rename it. And do as stated.

You don't need to edit anything. Just flash cwm recovery and rom

Keep one thing in mind before installing. First wipe data - - >wipe cache and dalvik cache--->now format system and install zip. Formating system should be done at last. Dnt wipe cache and dalvik after formating system. Sumtym this thing also cuz error7. Try this hope ur prblm will be fixed.
3G not working

Thanks for this KK rom, first rom which is actually working on my A210.
I tried replacing modem.img with suggested fix, but only edge is showing up. Tried stock modem file, tried stock file from A116 as well. No luck.
Can someone point me to the correct modem.img file to be used?

Downloaded again nd flashed now it works....Jst low sound even after using patch nd engineering mode...Rom is great :good: hope nexus 5 rom will fix those

Try deleting root/data/nvram folder. [Warning:This will delete ur imei number so take a backup of imei using mobile uncle tool.] Now restore imei using mobile uncle tool. Reboot. Restore imei using mobile uncle tool. Reboot. Enjoy 3G network.

Yeah, had tried that as well. Same issue. Will google around for modem.img with same base band and see if I can get the 3G back. Thanks anyways.

REVIEW
1. Every thing working fine.
2. 3G works on SIM 1 only.
3. To activate Superuser go to Security App > Permission > Enable Root Permission.
4. FM also works great.
5. Camera working as Stock works.
6. Only problem I found is Mobile signal draining battery. Usage is around 40%. Hopes will get solution.

Its not you but the other Developer from whom you get inspired and created this ROM, helloansuman. He is making ROM and with OTA support. Its great if your work get further updated..

I've downloaded your g3 rom for the optimus g pro and it's awesome. Currently downloading V4. Stupid rule won't let me reply to the threads. I think i have 4 posts to go lol
problems regarding flashing using cwm recovery
Sir ive also downloaded ur g3 rom on my gpro .....ive encountered some problems as follows...
1) After flashing rom using cwm recovery ....i see error status 7 ....installation aborted....then i reboot and wait for about 10mins and the rom works....
2)@fter that anything like modem or kernl or supersu applied shows installation aborted.....
3) as soon as i try to connect to my wifi network.....it shows .."connection avoided due to poor network" though im in full range with the network.....
Pls fix this as i have access to internet only through Wi-Fi...... Rest works perfectly no problems.....but yet to check gps which i cant do unless u don't fix the wifi network problem.....
****Note **** ive flashed this rom on my stock at&t kitkat rooted rom after wiping all the necessary......
It is my humble request to u to make required changes in ur g3.g pro rom and pls just make an update file which is flashable....for such small changes pls dont recreate huge 1.38gb files....as they are quite difficult to download ....takes usually 2 hrs to download such files just create a flashable small rom file which we can flash on our g3.gpro v4.0 rom.

To solve the status 7 error, download freegee from the play store if you are rooted. Install twrp from there .. Boot into recovery and install the ROM again.. It will solve WiFi issue as well..

looks like a bad dl re-download am uploading the new v4.0 and youll need to flash supersu(op page)...
E988 (India)...... But E980 stuff works on this too

Hi,
The above link states 4.4.2 but actually build.prop says its 4.2.2. I tried with the same. Extracted System and ported with stock JB of Q1010i, but stuck in bootloader. Boot image of Q1200 is not opening hence could not check the issue. Please try it anyone.. I want unlocked boot.img of Q1200.

I hv system.img ,I need unlocked boot.img . Tried it...a lot. Need it to compare with Q1010i. Net connection is not issue for me I hv 12mbps. [emoji12] [emoji16] [emoji16] . I think we hv to wait some one release custom ROM for Q1200 then we will hv it. Seniors pls help...

hey guys... i need to convert my backed up rom into flashable zip and also make it flashable via sptools... i mean two different roms of same version one flashable zip via recovery and other using sptools..
till now ive backed up my rom used MTKdroid tools made proper backup but it is missing system.img (Android), Cache, USRDATA, and preloader in case of preloader ill get it from shared roms on this pages
so if there is any kitchens for our device please share it here so that i can add busybox symlinks SU deodex and remove unwanted apps
also pack it to flash via recovery

Idk what I did wrong i flashed then i was stuck at a bootload at the samsung note 3 screen..... But this has happen with all the tw lollipop roms i have tried to flash so i dont know what i am doing wrong

in philz rec choose the option wipe to install clean rom and flash the Rom aafter just reboot the device let it boot its normal for it to take up to 10 minutes during the first boot

Ok.... Will try again So I dont need to flash a kernal?? For some reason I believe my problem is the kernal because any time I flash a custom rom and dont flash a kernal the rom doesnt want to boot up and Im stuck on the note 3 screen

Thanks for the ROM. I'll be testing and report back on how it works for me.
One issue I immediately see if that wifi seems to not be working for me. Every time I try and turn it on, it is either greyed out and I can't toggle it, or if I am able to toggle it, it just doesn't do anything. I rebooted, still same issue. I think I flashed it properly (I wiped data, cache, dalvik, system), but I may try flashing again.
Has anyone else had this problem and is there a fix for this?
EDIT: Did a second full wipe and flash and still no wifi. Everything else seems to work connection wise, airplane mode, bluetooth, mobile data, just not wifi.

You can look in the ROM thread for a fix...on page 4 or 5.
DPI change?
Hey, the ROM is still going smooth. No real issues so far (except my battery life isn't as good as before, but it's not terrible or anything).
I have been trying to change the DPI on this ROM, but I have not been able to make it stick. I have tried using the build prop editor app as well as directly editing the build prop via ES File Explorer. Neither has worked. Has anyone been able to change their DPI or is there something specific that I need to do to get it working?

i didn't tried it i have no mhl cable.
if its not working there's no solution for now.
@alex when i try to apply white theme in the rom it doesnt chng to white but in candyrom the theme changes its color !!!!
Thats the price to use validus for now...not themable yet.
I mean yeah, u can theme, but frameworks been changed to black, so themers and validus head dev working on this kind of issue...
Not sure if its something I did wrong but I lost root after update. Supersu tried to update binary then said no root. Will try to install again.

Query on Recovery
Hello, Good Day!!!
I am currently using this ROM and I want to back up the this to try other ROMs. How can I back up this ROM since there are no back up feature in the CM Recovery?
Do I need to flash other kernel (example advance kernel) that has recovery to back up the ROM then reflash the CM kernel again?

flash twrp onto fota partition and make a nandbackup from it, or else use titanium backup pro app....or superbackup there's plenty

Can you me a link for the procedures on flashing twrp onto fota? I'm afraid that i might use an incompatible procedures that may break my phone?
I cannot use titanium back up in case of bootloop right? I should use nandroid back up.

i used xperia recovery manager .. there is a thread in the cross dev section ..

Am I the only that cannot connect to Mobile Network using this rom? Wifi is working fine, however, when connecting thru mobile it cannot establish any connection. I've also encountered this in the new version of Candy5.

revert back to previous build as there are issues on calling from cm .
not had this issue in previous build or latest except calling

no, actually now i am facing this issue on ressurrection remix .. as many others are ..but on latest candyrom 1.0.0 i had 3g working just fine with clean wipe

We had different experience since i do not have issue on calling on Candyrom. Just the mobile network.

in settings when you click on Privacy, it says backup & reset at the top...
also in 'the void/statusbar' 'clock style hidden' does not stay after a reboot or even after unlock screen the clock reapears but the setting says hidden... these things are bugs right?
what did cm12 have to change to fix the wakelocks on google services? something about mixmatched versions?

yes these are bugs
i didn't get you on mixmatched thing what u mean?
I suffer from the wakelock and was able to temporaly solve it by using privacy guard on the service... this is one link I found - http://www.reddit.com/r/Android/comments/2zrxwi/320_cm12_nightly_google_play_services_7x_wakelock/
