Like in the title I can't turn download booster off after the Lollipop update (5.0.1).
I turned download booster on while downloading the update and now anytime I turn WiFi on the download booster icon shows up on the status bar. The shortcut created no longer works, as well as the the method used to create it.
Here is my device information:
Model number
SAMSUNG-SM-N910A
Android version
5.0.1
If you need anything else let me know.
I thought that feature was disabled on the AT&T version. I've never seen it on mine and I have the same model as you. Where is the setting for it?

Before the Lollipop update you were able to create a shortcut to the setting by using Nova launcher. Here are the instructions
1. Go to home screen.
2. Hold down your finger on the screen till menu pops up.
3. Click on Shortcuts.
4. Click on Activities.
5. Scroll down to "Settings"
6. Scroll through the list till you find Download Booster. Click on it.
7. Now you will have a shortcut on your home screen that will take you to the download booster settings screen.
8. Enable download booster.

And i believe it was tested to not work either. Looks like it works, but when network was monitored it didnt actually use both wifi and data.
Oh, I thought it was only hidden. Do you know if there is anyway I can get the icon off of the status bar while WiFi is on?
I do not.. my appologies

Is there an app that allows direct access to one of the developer options so I can easily toggle it? I'm running stock, unrooted.
Here's the issue: Just upgraded to 4.3, and there's a bug that resets the Transition Animation Scale back to 1x whenever you run the Camera app. Right now I have to do Settings > More > Developer Options > scroll down to Transition Animation Scale > set to None > exit. PIA every time I use the Camera.
What I'd like is to have a script that runs the Camera app and then on exit automatically resets the animation option. Short of that I'd settle for a direct link to the option setting.
Any help appreciated.

Good thought. I am actually using Nova. Just looked through all the available Activity links but don't see direct access to the specific option I need to toggle.
I've also installed the Developer Options app, which does allow one click access to the Dev Options, so that's better than drilling down through Settings, etc.
Anyone can help me to remove the lock screen dual clock. I am using Korea version F400S
Maybe you need to enable lock screen widgets in the settings menu?

Thanks, heres what the linked post instructed.
1) download that app from the play store
2) set your language to english and your location to your desire.
3) install the app
4) search "clock" under the activities tab
5) under the roaming icon, there should be a "Roaming dual clock". tap into it.
6) tap "Try" then select "disable"
7) simply press back without creating the shortcut
8) select "Roaming clock settings"
9) tap "Try" again, and uncheck both ticks
10) press back again and you're all done.
Thank you for the info, it worked perfectly

I downloaded the QuickShortcutMaker but when i search I can't find "roaming dual clock"? I only get the "clock", can anyone please help..
Wow, that seems like alot of work. This is what I did... not sure if it gives the same effect, but works for me on a F400L
Settings > Global roaming > Roaming Time Settings > Use roaming dual-clock (untick this)

Hello guys, thanks for the solution on how to remove the dual clock the app works perfectly I can finally remove it. Now I have another question, if you have the korean version or the 400s versions, if you go to your calendar app you will see that you have some korean holidays, I haven't been able to find how to remove those, i went to account and sync and I cannot remove korean holidays. So I went to QuickShortcutMaker app, under activities I clicked on calendar and went to setting, I unchecked korean holidays but when I go back the app crashes. Is there any other way to remove that??
I appreciate it. DONT WANT TO SEE THOSE KOREAN LETTERS!!!!!
This works a lot better...and easier I must say
Hi guys, I tried all the steps listed on this thread, however when I go back to the lockscreen, it shows the same dual time. Any ideas why?

Did you disable both "roaming clock setting", and "roaming clock". For me all the settings are under T-Roaming(F400S). Depending on your model it might be different.
Sorry to write here after long time, but if you google about 'How to remove dual clock' you easily go here.
I made an app to salve this problem.
Currently made for F240s on 4.4.2 (LG G Pro).
Please, if you have an imported smartphone with dual clock, send a report and I will ADD support for your smartphone too.

Thanks, Ivan
Soon Dual Clock Remover will be updated at version 1.0.2 with support for LG G FLEX 2 (LG F501L)
[update already sent at google playstore, waiting him to publish]
Thanks at the user who sent me the log.

What if previously I deleted that roaming app (rooted)??
Now I can't create a shortcut to disable it...

Any possibilities of long pressing on shortcuts of notification bar will open more settings ? For example if i keep pressing on WIFI shortcut it should open WIFI settings. I have not rooted my phone yet. Its running on 6.0.1. This is normally available in HTC & SAMSUNG phones.

For Wi-Fi and Bluetooth you can click on the title below the icon and it will expand to show networks and devices as well as a more settings button. At least that's what I remember of Android M. I also remember being able to long press the icons to enter the settings for the toggle. Maybe that's just for the other buttons like cellular data.

Thanks for reply. I agree those little links below WIFI and BT opens quick setting in same notification window. Then there is more setting link to open full setting options. But that is not available for location services and other shortcuts.
Also those shortcuts are hardly manageable. Only few shortcuts can be added or deleted which is also under beta. Customization option is not available. Hard to believe for 6.0 version of android.

It's "fixed" on Android N. So you have that to look forward to in October or whenever they fully release it. It's also probably available in a custom ROM if you want to go that route.

Hopefully they will fix in Android N. My Nexus 5X still under warranty. Is it worth rooting Nexus ?
It won't work on the tab S3 from what I can tell. But has anybody who's rooted given it a stab?

I'm using the task switcher on it currently as that's the only thing that I liked from it.. I'm not rooted (anymore) by the way

How did you get it to work?
One handed operation
Have this on my note, installed it on my s3 from the Galaxy store, slide out home/back button. Can't bring myself to hit the home button with the stylus.

How did you get it working? It says it's not available for my device/region.
This is how you install good lock on the Tab S3 the good lock app itself will not work so you have to install the bits of it separately they will all be different applications there is 9 of them all together but instructions are in the screenshots below
1 download from site
2 unzip and install all app files within the folder
3 ready to go enter all the Apps and start tweaking your device
4 . Download Nova Launcher from the app store the rest of the instructions are at the bottom of the webpage with the download on
https://www.androidsage.com/2018/06...-install-good-lock-for-samsung-galaxy-phones/
I have tested it all and it works some bits obviously don't apply to the Tab S3 like always on display functions etc but most of it will edit things and work it seems pretty cool but personally it's a bit too clunky at the moment for me as I like using the stock launcher you can switch back to stock after editing the settings but every time you want to change a setting you will have to re make Nova Launcher your default change the setting and then go back to the default home launcher I'm hoping they will release it for the Tab S3 at some point as it seems to work perfectly so hopefully one day soon it will be compatible with this device but if you want to give it a go and check it out the above instructions should do the trick

Rooted one ? I don't even have that option earlier, it was there ...I didn't root/customize.
No I'm not rooted. What version is your LG?
From your photo smart bulletin looks disabled.
Enable it and see if the option to left swipe is there after closing and reopening home screen. Good luck
