install a rom
hi
so the problem is : i missed up a little bit with grand duos wanted to flash a custom rom so
rooted and cwm it and after that to flash a new rom decided to make a clean installation so i formatted everything including the boot ??! :crying: so before flashing Rom i flashed A wrong twrp and like usual it couldn't finish the installation that's when i made a huge freaking mistake :silly: i decide to remake everything again with turning off the device by removing the battery and reboot it and forgot that i formatted the boot ! now the device won't turn on , show battery charging , get into cwm and download mode , or do anything !!! i tried to replace battery but nothing happened please help me how to connect the device to odin or ADB and flash the stockRom i believe that its not hardbricked
Let me get straight into this , first of all , I was running stock 4.3, then rooted it , then decided to change to 4.1.1 stock rom , the device started to act like a complete idiot , it shuts automatically , and sometimes it doesn't start up , also sometimes it gets stuck at boot screen "Galaxy Note II - GT-N7100" screen . Then decided to try prerooted Wanamlite 4.3 JB , it had the same problems as the 4.1.1 . I tried looking up the forum a lot , the links for knox-free roms were down so was I .
+ Some times when the device boots up , it says "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue , select revory mode in kies" or sth like that .
+Knox warranty void : 1
+ (I dont remember) : A2
I tried flashing official 4.4.2 , but odin gets stuck on odin "complete(write) operation failed" .
Plz help .

Are you able to be in the download mode for some time? Try to use DLM backup using lglaf to backup all your partitions.

I would find the stock firmware that you where on and try to flash lgup or flash tool and start again you will lose data but device will be working. And remember to always backup before hand.
First of all thanks a lot as your method perfectly worked , i just have another question out of curiosity if you don't mind , altough LGUP did work of course , i recently noticed that if you don't already have the Google account already registered on the device , and precisely on Lollipop and above , there's absolutely no way you would boot up your phone , i wonder if there's a way to bypass that Google Verification thing !
and just for reference , LG UP doesn't entirely flash the device , it just .... , you know , like just replacing the old firmware without deleting the data , LG FLASH TOOL 2014 doesn't work either , it doesn't even start the flashing process regardless of the firmware , so it's not an option .
