[Firmware][Mod][HBOOT 1.61] Verizon Lollipop Firmware - Verizon HTC One (M7)

This is the lollipop firmware (minus kernel, recovery, system, data, and splash) that has been modified to remove the developer (red) text on boot, show S-ON and *** LOCKED *** in fastboot. Don't worry it is still s-off and unlocked, just says it's not if someone at a Verizon store looks at it. If someone know fastboot commands they can still clearly see that it has been S-Off. Please not this requires an S-Off Verizon HTC M7! Flash at own risk!
If you S-On with this flashed it will hard brick your phone! (DON'T S-ON UNTIL YOU FLASH A SIGNED RUU) Plus it will cost another $25 when you s-off again
That being said it is working great for me Screenshot shows the modified bits at the end of the post.
Flash instructions (Taken from Here):
Boot your phone into the bootloader by holding the power and vol up/down buttons at the same time until you see the bootloader screen or if you have your phone booted you can use the ADB command:
Code:
adb reboot-bootloader
Now use these fastboot commands:
Code:
fastboot oem rebootRUU
Should see the Silver HTC logo. Now issue this command to flash your phone using the firmware_1.61_mod.zip file:
Code:
fastboot flash zip firmware_1.61_mod.zip
Now the first time you issue a command to flash firmware/ruu in fastboot it only prepares the flash. You have to issue the exact command again:
Code:
fastboot flash zip firmware_1.61_mod.zip
The green status bar usually does not reach the 100% mark. When the output in the command window is complete, you can reboot:
Code:
fastboot reboot
or
Code:
fastboot reboot-bootloader

[Q] How do you make ADB read your device?

well i had no problem what so ever making fastboot work, sadly though there are certain times were one has to use ADB! anyway, i have htc sync installed, and i know that the computer recognizes my device because of this:
{

"lightbox_next": "Next",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
so obviously there is a problem that i do not understand, because when i check in my sdk (fastboot) folder by typing "adb devices", the list of devices is empty!
please help i really need this!
ADB detects your device while it's inside the OS (running) or in recovery mode. Make sure to install latest version of HTC Sync.

so it cant detect my device while it's in fastboot mode? so it's impossible to use ADB if your bootloader is relocked right? cuz i am trying to follow this guide: http://www.flow-wolf.net/2012/10/install-jelly-bean-on-htc-one-x-maximus.html
however i cant find a way to successfully install PJ46IMG.zip !
That guide is extremely outdated and I don't suggest you use it. To flash the firmware zip package use the fastboot command 'fastboot oem rebootRUU' and then type 'fastboot flash zip (name of zip here)'
Sent from my HTC One X using xda app-developers app

yeah when i did that before i also got an error, cant remember actual wording, but the good new is i gave up on OrDroid and Maximus, decided to try out Jeffix and it worked, i am guessing it was an issue related to Hboot, but happily all my issues have been resolved, thanks for the help though!

No. This is an image that needs fastboot RUU mode in order to install. Just a quick FYI - things can only be flashed via recovery if they have an edify installer. Look for a META-INF folder with an updater script and binary in it, that will tell you whether or not it can be installed in recovery.

Honor 7x fastboot & adb commands failing with "Failed (remote: Command not allowed)"

Honor 7x fastboot & adb commands failing with "Failed (remote: Command not allowed)"
So I had unlocked the bootloader and was running a custom rom for a while with twrp recovery. Everything was fine till that point, the only issue was that i did not make any backup of the stock rom before flashing a custom one.
While trying to flash back the original stock BNDL22 (india variant) rom I messed something up and now my device speaker, mic and camera is not working and is crashing.
Following are the things that i did:
-flashed stock rom( flashed multiple roms China/eu/us/india).
-flashed stock recovery
-locked bootloader (for this is tried locking the bootloader with "fastboot oem relock".
This didnt not lock my bootloader somehow and now my bootloader status is still "unlocked" and anytime I try to use any fastboot command it fails with "command not allowed")
[Note: Also my model number is now showing as generic_a15]

First off, don't flash ROMs for other phones. It *probably* won't work.
Second, you probably are on EMUI 8/Oreo. The correct partition is "recovery_ramdisk". There is no "boot" partition anymore.
I don't know why you're system flashing is failing though.
For now, get your firmware for YOUR variant. Not other variants/models.
Seems like you screwed up, but right now you need HuRUpdater.
Flash TWRP to recovery_ramdisk. I will attach it in the attachments part of this post.
Then follow all HuRUpdater instructions and flash it.
You should have your beloved EMUI back.
