[Q] A little help guys! - Paranoid Android Q&A

Hello everyone! So I bought a new tablet Ainol Novo 9 spark 2 a few weeks ago. The tablet was already rooted (btw I don't know much about these stuff). The tablet is good but it lags very much even though it has 2gb ram and 1.6ghz quadcore processor. I think the problem is in the software because the software installed in it is very bad! So i read about custom ROMS and now I'm thinking of installing a new ROM on it! Please help me I don't know how to do that! A little help would be grateful! Thankyou.

So where does paranoid android fit into this?

Hello dear, you can not do much. The G3 is the worst device of this generation, and I know what I'm talking and having had it and quickly changed to a shiny new Xperia Z3. Mounts a GPU which is fine for a Full HD display, a 2K serving new coupled S805 / Adreno 420, which does not have this device.
The Cyanogen partially solves the problems of battery and lag, but then again .. only partially.

CyanogenMod vs. 6.0 Marshmellow vs. any other ROM?

Over 2 years ago I bought 2 of these (SG TAB 3 10.1s) for my kids - after about 6 to 8 months they just stopped using them becuase they ran like poop - they sat for over a year gathering dust so I just took one of them and installed CyanogenMod 12.1 (literally, 2 nights ago from the date of this post) So far it runs awesome! I was going to dump the tab 3 10.1s but after installing, it's a keeper! I truely can't beleive the performance - better than brand new!
I see there's a way to install Marshmellow (6.0)... I also see other custom ROMs as well so..My first thought is - why fix something that's not broken? In fact why fix something that I just fixed and is working really good?
I'm looking for the very best performance possible - So far, with my very little experience and knowledge, CyanogenMod is truly the CATS MEOW! so.... my tab 3s are wifi. Don't care too much about the camera, mainly needed for browsing, netflix, xFinity TV app, youtube, games - maybe a bluetooth keyboard....
Anyone out there with a SG Tab 3 10.1 GT-P5210 who has installled CyanogenMod, then MM (6.0) or other ROMs besides CyanogenMod? Are there any comparisons? What is the very best performing ROM for a GS TAB 3 10.1 GT P5120?
Thanks much in advance for any info -
And, a BIG THANKS!!! to nels83 for the post in the developers thread for CyanogenMod -
I would also appreciate any recommandations on this!

The smoothest and lightest rom in 2016?

Hello everyone!
Unfortunately I bought the 2go ram d855 version 2 years ago. What a mistake!
Now i'm using CM 12 but it always takes half of my ram, so i have lags as soon as i use 2 or 3 apps. It's really annoying.
Therefore i'm looking for the lightest, fastest and smoothest rom in 2016. I don't care about the personalization or the android version, no problem if it's kitkat...
Please help me guys thanks

Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 - RAM issue

Hi,
i found problem with my Tab Pro. It shows me just 1.7GB of RAM. Do you think it is Software problem (I use last Resurection Remix on it), I tried RR with Android 6.0 and Cyanogen...all with the same result.
I think one of my memory modules is passed away...it is possible??
Do you have some hints what to do, how to check it if it is really that state??
Thank you
TabPro 10.1 --- Actually 1.74GB RAM -_-
Hi, you will find all Samsung tab pro 10.1 have 1.74Gb of RAM. They are sold and marketed at 2Gb when in fact they have only 1.74Gb. I was just as disappointed when I realised this was the case.

Oh, thanks for your reply. It is really sad. I bought at the same time this Samsung and Lenovo 1050f (cheaper one, insted od resolution, better one).
Samsung disapointed me again.
Thanks to alternative roms I like it more than the Lenovo .

Best setup for revived SG4 mini ?

Greetings,
finally, I got new mainboard for my SG4 mini (meantime suffering from the curse of Meizu MX4 paddle) and I'm thinking about tweaking it a bit before putting it to full use.
So, since I have little to zero knowledge (except rooted Huawei Ideos X1), I would really appreciate any advice on how I can improve its function or which SW I should install on my desktop and pair it with my phone, etc.
There were some discussions back in 2016, but maybe something new emerged - after all, SG4 is one of the last one-handed-phone.

nothing much as changed. You need Odin and the Samsung drivers installed on your PC (widows). I'd then go for the official LineageOS ROM, white latest TWRP, if your model is supported by them both
