I recently bought my son a KF HD to replace his KF2 and was wondering what's the best way to transfer data from the old tablet to the new one? Neither device is rooted so TitaniumBackup is out. I had him install all the games and apps he used onto the HD and copy/pasted the folders from /Android/data/ on the KF2 to the HD but that didn't work. What am I doing wrong?
UPDATE: The new HD is under my wife's account so I added her acct to my "Household" and shared my content with the HD and the game progress from my HDX doesn't transfer. Is this possible at all?

Hello Folks,
I have a couple of friends with Samsung Galaxy Tab 3's and they have recently noticed that the Samsung Readers Hub has disappeared from their tablet and has been replaced with an Amazon Kindle App. In the process they have lost all their downloaded epubs. I would like to load a previous version of the application onto their tablet as they like using it for epub files. Does anyone have a version that I could install using the APK - perhaps from a titanium backup?
Any help would be appreciated.
Hey guys, I have a Fire TV unit, that unfortunately cannot be rooted. I love using it but the 8gb storage limit is almost impossible to work with. So, i went out and bought a Matricom G-Box Q, just so I could use it for Kodi/XBMC. I am wondering, can Fire TV apps work on a regular 4.4 Kitkat Android box and if so, how could the apks be downloaded without them going specifically to the Fire TV box? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
Hello all. Long story short, I have books not bought from Amazon that show up in my library (7th gen KF8) but do not show up in my newly purchased (7th gen KF10). The files are fine, can view and read in all other Kindle fires.
I don't want to search the xplore file tree to read one of these books.
Is anyone else having an issue like this? Did anyone else figure out why and how to resolve this?
Thank you.
Edit: After 13 syncs and restarts over the course of 4 hours, the books finally loaded.
Hi!
Is there any way to be able to store (legal) Amazon Music or video on the device (or sd or USB Stcik attached) like you can do with the the "normal" Amazon apps on an Android phone?
The Apps for Music & Video on the Stick obviously do not allow to buffer / store contents offline.
So can one patch them or use APK versions from "normal" Android devices? (Tried with APK from my phone and from my Fire HD, but APK did not install or ran but said it could not connect).
Thanks for any hint!
