Has anyone been getting errors with your apps saying " * has stopped unexpectedly"? YouTube, Google Play service and about 3 or 4 more. It doesn't happen all the time but it happens enough.

I am receiving this pop-up error as well as a couple of other Google errors. I have an Amazon Firephone 64 GB through Straight Talk, and have the Google Play Store on it. I've tried clearing the cache on all of my Google Play apps, as well as uninstalling and reinstalling all of the Google play apps. Still get this error whenever Google play is active on my phone. The Google play apps still work, but I can hardly use my phone because the pop ups are so bad. Anyone know how to fix this? This just started a few days ago. Thanks.
Edit: Also, my phone is NOT rooted/jailbroken! I'd like to see if I can fix this problem without doing that.

I have been having the same behavior from my phone as well. It occurred when I let the battery die down so low it shut off. When it was recharged and started, it began exhibiting the "Google Play services have stopped" error. Clearly the reboot was the problem. Also, I can confirm my phone has not received any new updates.

As of about two days ago, I've started getting a popup/notification that says "Unknown issue with Google Play services". Anyone else seeing the same / figured out a fix for it?
My Play Services is version 8.3.00 (2353383-036)
Additionally, my battery life has dropped way off (since I started getting this notification), and it seems that anything that needs GPS will take forever to load, and will trigger the "Unknown issue with Google Play services" warning

it is installed etc, but when i try to add a card it says unfortunately google play services has stopped working
Happens for me as well. Though I think it is because I am not in the US an don't have a US Google account, etc.

i had recently updated the google apps like maps,google play services, google play games along with other random apps like imo, peel smart remote, messenger etc . i was on a whatsapp call when i was switching from WiFi network to mobile data . No sooner i did that, the google services stopped working and the phone restarted. once it was in, the maps stopped working. i kept getting the message "unfortunately google services stopped working " a couple of times.
Now even the google play app is missing from the app drawer and also the google account does not seem to sync.
i have encountered the same issue before and i had to do a hard reset along with clearing the cache in recovery mode to fix it.(i lost my root privileges in that process. )

I don't know what happened but a few days ago Google Play Services stopped working. Now apps like Grab throw the error "Google Play services are updating" and Google Home won't work because the account list is tied to Play services. I've tried clearing cache, uninstalling updates for Play services but nothing is working. On C636 patch.

Was getting something similar, but it's affecting in-app items that depend on google play services, like maps and locatons. Just shows " Google Play Services are updating". Started roughly a week ago. Apparently it's an issue with Maps being affected on Huawei / Honor devices. Seems we'll be getting a fix in a few weeks.
