I've noticed that tweaks like changing the dpi and enabling software keys through editing the build.prop file don't seem to work.
Upon checking the files, there seems to be multiple:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Has anyone had success editing the Zenfone 2's build.prop?
This is a bit weird
The main one is the first one i guess. Have you tried like only on the first one and then on all the build.prop files?
To enable software keys, you need to edit the build prop for your specific device model. I have the 4GB/64GB/2.33GHz version so mine would be build.ze551.dual.2p3GHz.prop for example.
Check this thread out:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone2/general/enable-software-buttons-t3112380
We sort of discussed it at the bottom. It seems the actual build.prop isn't the main one. Probably to do with the multiple variants.

Not exactly what I want, but also very nice!
i don't get how that thread helps him out. am i missing something?
I wanted to change the Start icon, but I wasn't able to copy the file. Now i could rename the file to shellres192.dll.bak and put back my designed file.
I've attached a screenshot and my shellres192.dll for all, who want to do this too.

I didn't look at your framework, but I believe you forgot to edit the public.xml, things not mentioned there aren't display properly. I hat the problem that my battery icon disapeared when I applied a bat-mod.
maybe that helps.

So its not possible to remove file type restrictions?? can you guys do something for it??
Thanx...
I know the basic for edting framewor-res.apk, but I would like to remove the 3 dots for ICS optimised apps since I already have hardware menu button for the job.
Trying to remove this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Attached is the framework-res.apk, if anyone is free to mod it for me. Otherwise instructions will also be welcome.
Thans in advance.

Do you want to remove softkeys too? If so try to flash a softkey uninstaller.
I only know how to make the button transparent not remove it entirely.
Search the forum for more help.
I don't really see what's bad about it, since you use softkeys.
Erm never mind did it myself.

I am trying to create a binding for the XposedBridge framework for Android. The issue is that all the tutorials and guides I have seen say to add the .jar as a "InputJar" and from there it will generate the bindings. I have tried that and it says there were no errors during build. But upon closer looking I noticed that the google jar files have classes within it where as the XposedBridge jar only has a "classes.dex". I think that is the issue of it not creating any bindings. If someone could offer suggestions or help me out a bit I would greatly appreciate it.
The dex file itself has exports after looking at the disassembly. So I'm a bit confused.

I prefer that the binding is built off the custom zip I have included, but here is the link to the repository incase anyone needs some more information.

And here is a sample on how it is supposed to be used

Once again, any help would be great. Thank you!
