Is somebody planning to port ROM from LG G4 to D855?
Well apps already ported to our device ..so i believe someone will port the whole rom aswell
I think masters wait global rom!
I think we just need to wait.
Next Month something is released, im pretty sure.

Okay guys, the time has come: we want to port Sense 5.5 to our Ascend P6!

as you can see, this is the real Sense 5 ROM on a Mediatek device!
so, if its possible on that kind of phone, it SHOULD be 60% possible to port it also to our phone.

Good to see new developers here or people who want to learn it. First of all I would help you to do that, I really like the look of sense. But why port a JB Rom with an old sense version when you could port the new sense 6 with KK. is must be a lot easier to port sense 5, because sense 6 is not portet on many devices, and i think would be more stable and easier to port than sense 6..?

Any succes with this, or did you just settle with your Cyanogenmod?
I'm a longtime HTC user and missing Sense after buying a Ascend P7, so I was hoping to find som expirience among other users of the P family. But apparently you where the only one who was interrestet in a Sense on Ascend P solition?
I am on CM right now and without help i can't a ROM like Sense 6 unfortunately :/
Plan to buy Oppo Find 7 but curious about custom rom. I couldn't find Find7 Rom so can we use the same custom rom? Thank you
none of the developers do have got a find7 from oppo.
as far as I know the available custom roms do not work on find7 due missing screen compatibility

Technically it is doable to have one ROM for both but other than color os no one supports it yet.
That will stay like that until one of the developers gets the time and the required device.

Yup. I would expect it to only take an evening or two worth of work for someone who knows what they're doing and actually has the device.
I'm not sure if I'll be receiving a QHD Find7 from Oppo, but someone who has the required skills most definitely will. It's primarily an issue of fixing up some things I chose to leave for later in my bringup efforts.
Specfically - https://github.com/omnirom/android_...mmit/59223a3e64565bcfa13bfd3b58fc676128d02ca7 fixed display initialization for the 7a but I did NOT do the same for the 7 because I didn't have one. That's the primary issue with the 7 currently.
Specifically you'll notice that nothing below the else{} case for dual DSI (Find 7S aka Find 7 QHD) was changed (near the bottom of the commit linked above)
I believe that developers had a difficult time now to support Quad HD smartphone because technically its a bit anew for them. Look to the Original Development of LG G3, there still no available rom or even custom recovery for that, same as Oppo Find 7. Just wait for the devs to learn new things and thanks them for their best efforts to support the android community.

i know the phone is old right now but i adore that phone !
I will hope for this , I really love this phone but nowadays it's really too old for the new version of android .... With lollipop for me it's really bad and I prefer an older version of android like jellybean so I think if a days a developer make a Rom for us probably was really unusable for us ..... (Sorry for my bad English but I'm Italian lol )

Ehy everyone.
I switched from S6 to G4, bought a new one (H815) from Amazon (Italy).
Why did I switch to a new phone? Because, as much as I loved the S6's hardware I could not stand Samsung's take on Android L.
What made me switch to the G4? The fact that CyanogenMod 12.1 Nightly started to roll out for it.
But now I'm asking myself if I should just wait for a Snapshot release instead of diving into the nightlies.
So... What should I do? Just wait for a Snapshot release or try out CM 12.1 Nightlies? If I do try the nightlies, is there a way to install LG's Stock 5.1.1 back (I've found the KDZ for 6.0, but not for 5.1.1).
If I decide to wait for a Snapshot, how much long do you think I'd have to 'wait' for it to release? Please understand that I'm not in a hurry, I'm just asking for advice!

I switched from S6 edge to G4.
First of all, if You don't like TochWiz, You will hate the Stock LG.
CM builds are Nightlies, but good enough for a daily driver. You should read the CM threds in Android Development section.

I read alot of great reviews on the Xiaomi 5s Plus, before I buy, I want to ask what are the top 3 things you "dislike" about this phone?

not so good camera it no optical stabilisaton, no screen protection, aluminium body material is very soft, easy to scratch. my opinion that rom support is good if you want flash new builts by yourself. every week new release. no one device in world have weekly based updates i think.
This is not true. First update, 2 weeks delay, second update and this week.again delay (firmware update).

But Mi MIX, Mi Note 2, Mi 5s also has delayed update for this week. Their are new phones, developers working on full stability, new Android etc., later it will have normally weekly update. One week more waiting isn't that much if you have fully working rom.
