Hello my friends, i have vodaphone E975 with rom 4.4.2 v20
i have problem that the phone throttle alot and performance of dual core and andreno 305 or less, also if i remove throttle from secret menu, the phone reaches 100 degree celcuis and battery drains very fast and phone dies.
i want solution that makes me keep cpu underlocked 1ghz all cores, but disable gpu throttle and make it 400mhz not 200mhz
also which is last international ro version, my current rom has vodaphone apps and don't like them
i use xperia sp and xperia z1 and gs4 but none of them overheat like this
xperia sp under cpu streess test goes to 50 degree on worst case
that's totally weird. recommend you a factory reset.

is it possible to overclock above 768mhz? my phone never gets warm and battery lasts 2+ days, completely stable at this speed, i want to learn how i can edit a kernel and increase the cpu voltage ever so slightly and increase max cpu clock and see whats stable, could you help me?
i think you will just start to get kernel panics if you try to go much higher .
i have another phone (lg 500) also with the same arm6 cpu that comes clocked at 600 from factory. i have the option to oc to 825 with custom kernel but it always panics at 806 and is stable at 787.
So i think if you want a faster phone go buy one

Nope.
P500 has an ARM11 MS7227 processor
Wildfire has an ARM11 MS7225 processor.

lol the chipset for the wildfire is MSM7225 but the cpu is arm6/11? on half of the sites is arm6 the other arm11..
Hi I have mine set to 710 and any higher starts getting random reboots.
But overclocking any higher than 768, your risking a chip melt or definitely shorting its life.
Hi friends, can the doomkernel really reach 2ghz?indeed i don't want to burn my xperia but my question is only for curiosity and eventually for testing(but not at 2ghz xd).i know that overclock kill the duration of the battery but what is the max rocksolid frequency?and anyone tested the 1.9/2 ghz ?is it stable?is the performance really increased with overclock?thank you very much
It depends on your specific device for whether 2.0ghz works or not. For mine, 2.0ghz does work (voltage 1500), though I don't use it since I never need that much power. The performance does increase quite a big with overclocking, but it's usually not actually necessary.
About the 2Ghz.
I have DooMKernel 2Ghz installed, but whenever I actually put the slider (on setCPU) on 2Ghz, my phone reboots. The highest I have ever performed a benchmark was 1,7Ghz, but it became very hot. You can try to push it to 2Ghz though, on my phone trying hasn't caused any problems.
1.5 to 1.6 Ghz is the Safest for Xperia Play
So 1.5 ghz... Is fine for xperia play.. But, is what all u talking about related to processor speed.. I m not understanding this concept of overclocking.. N does this overclocking really makes to run the play fast than it is now at 1 ghz...??

overclocking is the process of making the CPU operate faster than specified by the manufacturer. It does indeed make the phone faster, but also makes the battery life shorter.
I've done it, don't really care to though seeing as how it drains the battery way too fast. But it just depends, some phones can handle it and some can't even if they are the same exact phone model
If i overclock but only when need more perform power whats the adverge life i ll get out my phone?
First of all how much do you want to overclock: 1,1-2,0 ghz ?
If you overclock to 2 ghz ( if you're phone is stable ) you will be sure you get a huge drain in lifetime. I have my phone overclocked to 1.4 ghz as I think this frequency doesn't harm your phone.
Second is not all the cpu's are the same, for me every frequency is stable, but maybe youre phone is only stable up to 1,4 ghz ( for example ). So keep that in mind.
The fact is you can't exactly say how long youre phone will last at what frequency as every phone's cpu is different. But I suggest, don't go over 1,5-1,6 ghz as you won't get any noticeable performance boost after that and at higher frequencies it does harm your phone.
So make a profile in "setxperia" and call it power or something you like, set it to 1,4 ghz max and threshold to 99 governor ondemand. This works the best for me, and if you don't need the power ( not gaming ) then switch it back to your normal profile i.e default.
Hello, my problem is that i installed extreme Kernel and want to OC my CPU up to 2 or 2.3GHz and every time i select this frequence, my Phone reboots because i can't Overvoltage my CPU.
Can someone explain me how to Overvoltage my CPU.
Xperia Play 800i
ROM NXT Gaming 1.2
Kernel Extreme Kernel
Do ya want to burn your SoC? Reboot is because not-so-good-quality of crystal, so better for you not to try changing voltage.
If i brick one of my phones it doesn't matter, i have another Xperia Play.
But i want to get more Speed out of it.
1.6GHz is to slow for me.
Then I am sorry, you have wrong phone.
This is an old phone with a old SoC, It is not meant to go that high.
Instead check out you background programs, rom and what cpu profile you got. If this tweaking don't make your play good enough get a new phone.
Antutu 6.0 shows 25,000 and all other benchmarks (geekbench etc) show also around minis fifty percent from the official scores for lg g3, all cpu cores are working, checked phone and seems original specs perfect from cpu z( dpi, resolution, gpu, cpu ,ram perfect) guys help me please I'm desperate, model is t mobile 851 32gb running lolipop 5.1 stock lg

there's no 5.1 update from lg..
Have you tried a factory reset?
Sorry 5.0.1 btw im thinking may be i was charging the phone so cpu throttling may be
I think it fixed itself now left the phone to cool down run again and now 40,000 on antutu and geekbench 750/2000 single n multi core, is that normal?

If the phone was hot yes its normal, LG throttle down the cpu if its too hot.
