I have received the phone(India) on 2nd of May and ever since then I have noticed a Bug in this. In between SIM1 network gets disconnects and then reconnects within 1min. This is a really serious bug I have found in this device, but I dont know whether it is just for me or for all??
Disconnection happens even when device idle.
Anybody will be able to help me identify the reason????????
Device - ZE551ML 2GB
FW - LATEST.
NO ROOT.

Hey there buddy , i have bought a 4g variant and have root... i haven't encountered such a problem yet... I read somewhere on the net that disconnection of network is due to sim card cut in a wrong manner...Do you have a micro sim given by the operators or you just had it cut from a local shop?? try inserting a micro sim which is given by the operators themselves...

I'm using genuine MicroSIM and also I'm using a new sim card. So there is no way it can happen. Are you using Dual SIM?
In zentalk forum, many has reported this same problem....

I just recently uprgraded to 6.1 and had no problems for a few days but the last few days ive been getting text messages late and people are receiving mine late and more then 1 of the same message.Could there be a promlem with the new Rom ???? Could my service be having temporary problems or could it be my phone? What the best explanations from the pros
It's not uncommon to receive late text messages. More than likely it's the carrier. Rebooting your phone may help reduce lost or missing txt messages.
Could be an issue with the sim card also. Thats what T-Mobile told me anyway. Was having the same issue, and people would call me, but the phone would not ring, and I would suddenly have a voice mail. New sim card and no more problems

That's probably not so much the SIM card as the HLR that the SIM card is tied to or the MSC that is processing the call. Basically, the data required to communicate with all SIM cards is stored on the HLR, and if something isn't correct with the datafill on the HLR or the MSC, then problems could happen. A new SIM card would mean a new HLR (or at least a different SIM card range on the HLR) and could eliminate problems.
Perfectly stated. I would recommend getting a new SIM card if the problem persists because it will tend to fix the problem.

I've been on the phone for similar problems with t-mobile for a total of about 4 hours, and they've never been able to give me a solution. How do I get a new sim? Tell them mine's broken and i need a new one? I don't think tech support would just give me one like that. Tell them that I took mine out and it fell in the couch cushions? Would there be a charge for a lost sim?
I have just one big gripe with the hox and that is that a few times per day the sim card is not recognised anymore and I have to reenter the PIN. In the known issues I saw it mentioned. Does anyone know if my device is at fault or if it is a sim fault or some software issue. (the problems occurs with both stock and custom roms)
Get a proper sim and try it.
Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 2
the sim is a proper sim microsim, I just bought
I just got a new sim, had to get all upset and angry at the Vodafone store to get it without having to pay for it but the problem still persists
no one has any ideas on how to fix this? or even if my phone is defect or if it is a software bug?
No one with this problem? Today it just happened about 6 or 7 times in a row, I tried to reboot the device, even turning of fastboot but the problem persisted; The device felt warm (just warm, not hot) and the battery seems to have drained a lot with most of it drained by screen (42%) but also mobile standby (23%) with 21% left.
I have the opposite problem mine is all the disconnected and connects some times
I think it might be the same issue, which carrier are you on?
I'n On Maxix Malaysia
Is this the same problem?

no, I am losing sim and therefor connection but the problem is with the sim, not network per se.
Hello guys, i have some issues with my LG G3. As the title says, the phone isn't reading the sim card, sometimes, it's working just fine, for a couple of minutes, then, a countdown begins, saying "No sim card detected", in 10 seconds my phone will reboot and that's it. "No sim card detected" again.
Every other aspect is working just fine.
Things i've already tried:
- Switching sim card and switching the sim carrier.
- Replacing sim card & microSD reader.
- Pressing down the sim card at the startup.
- Hard / Factory reset.
All of those for nothing.
I'm thinking is an software problem, is that possible?
Exactly the same problem!! Has been in and had a new sim tray, worked for 3 days then back to no sim, no service, emergency calls only. Taped down sim, changed sim, factory reset, nothing!! I am so frustrated! It's only just over a year old too so I'm not due an upgrade and it's out of warranty.
I have same problem
QCN Corrupt

unfortunately, this has nothing to do with our problem, my g3 shows the correct IMEI. will try to heat the area of the motherboard located behind the sim card reader with my heatgun. some guy got it to work like this ( though he did not show any actual evidence supporting his claim, and neither did i ask for it)

I sort it out yesterday about my problem. Firstly my network provider will send a configuration message whenever new sim inserted. That configuration should be installed into the phone. (I don't know about other country's network provider will send it or not).
Secondly, if that phone is a twin sim slot, both sim should be active. Otherwise just remove the inactive one. My case was after I removed the inactive one, the phone became fast again and i can watch youtube without hiccup.
I feel regretted for damning the Samsung name.
Wish you luck.

Not true. Sounds like hardware issue if broken on factory reset (erase all) on stock rom
Mine needed a new board when I was having that problem. It may be under warranty if you ship it to OnePlus. They usually get it done in less than a week.
