[Q] In Dire Help! Need Fix!? Phone not receiving calls! - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 4

Hello!
So I wanted to change my STOCK ROM and get ROOT but without knox so I tried flashing ShinySides STOCK ROM fond here. After flashing the ROM and the kernel. I turned on to find out that WiFI is not working. Scrolled through and the dev said I need to flash the modem. Tried that through Odin 3.07 by selecting phone "PHONE" with only "Auto Reboot" (through Download) mode and that didnt work.
I tried Fennys Kernel with WiFI Fix and the Wifi worked but the phone became super slow. Along with this, my phone doesnt alert me if someone is calling and it only shows after someone has called! Tried flashing Fennys ROM and but error says "aborded (status 7)"
I tried reflashing the kernel on Shinyside using the PDA Option with his software. The Wifi stopped working, and I cant recieve calls and system is slow!
I tried fixing my build.prop but thats not working too!!
I dont know what to do anymore! I really need help! Ive been trying to fix this for 5 hours!
Here are my phone settings saying right now:

Try a double flash.
Uncheck auto reboot in odin
Flash rom then pull battery from phone and usb cable. Reinsert both then boot into odin mode again and flash with auto reboot this time.

What should I flash? What file? Modem? (Sorry if it sounds like im going crazy but my phone is slow, everything crashes, and i cant make or recieve calls cuz the phone app is crashing)
Also, when u say "flash" ODIN? What option do i select? PDA? Phone?

Just flash the latest firmware. Your phone is misbehaving because you matched modems and NON-HLOS. After that you should be back to normal and can flash the rom again with no problems

[Q] Help with Odin

I'm desperately trying to root my Sprint S3 on 4.3.
Two different methods so far required to use Odin to flash a recovery, but Odin hangs every time at "recovery.img".
I have my drivers installed, Debugging enabled, and my phone shows in Odin as "0:[com4]".
I dont have clue why it hangs every time and its really aggravating. Can someone please help? I'll be sure to give everyone who tries to a thanks.
Are you putting the tar file in the pda slot?

Yep. Here's a screenshot. Its in the AP section because I tried on a newer version of ODIN, same result.

Do you have a good cable? Most people like the BlackBerry cables and most have problems using the cable supplied with the phone for more than charging.

You will want Odin v. 3.07, not the v. 3.09. Also, there is a much newer version of Philz available, it is 6.15.7 and is a d2lte version. Link for Philz thread is in my signature in order to access the newest version. Make sure the Auto Reboot box is unchecked in Odin, or else the phone will reboot automatically too early in the process. If it works properly, the green Pass message should show after two minutes, and then you can use your custom recovery to flash the SuperSU zip file to achieve root.

Hey sorry for the late reply. I dont think its the Odin version, because I tried first on 3.07 and had the exact same result. I had autoreboot unchecked previously, I guess I had forgotten it in the time I took the screenshot.
I think I've narrowed it down to the generic cable, but I'll download your updated version and give it a try anyways. Thanks!

Well something new... its at least telling me it failed sometimes. But other times it still hangs.

SPH710T-(sprint prepaid) ODIN prob

I bought this samsung galaxy the T model. I rooted using ODIN>CWM>SUPERSU. Now i want to install wickedXrom but I have to update the bootloader to ND8 I believe or else risk bricking my phone. I've downloaded the philz recovery to odin flash it to my phone, but it doesnt show up after I click AP on ODIN, even though i have TWO philz recovery files in the folder. I tried removing ".md5" from the name and it turned into a zip file and that didnt help at all. The problem I'm having is with oDIN. If i try to flash "L710-ND8-Bootloader" I get a fail. If i try to flash philz it wont even show up under pda...
I've been researching and looking around for hours now before i finally decided to make a post.

It's good you're getting a fail. This doesn't apply to the L710T Model. Simply go to post #4 of my thread and there is a link to a tutorial on how to flash with the L710T Model. I'll update the OP to include this information so no one gets confused.

Same problem here, but I'm running t0lte instead of 7100. Also I having a semi transparent persistant popup dialog showing my ap csc etc, in yellow colour words in the kiddle if the screen. Might have brick my t0lte I think.

Already tried that sire.. Also *#0808 9900 2663 7284 etc... But fruitless... *#*#4636#*#* seems more relevant but his can't to set the network... think I tried flashing a 9305 param the last time when I had this problem. The persistent popup dialog is irritating...
Try to use root explorer..root explorer required su permission..After that try to r/o or r/w data from system..okey..you just enter the app..find system/app/wireless app..press and hole until you see the option..

SoftBrick After upgrading to M919UVUFNK2

Hi All, Got A bit of a problem cant seem to figure this out
I was upgrading to Stock M919UVUFNK2 I got the file from Shineyside stock Tar files it was a 2.5 Gb file from his Mega account I believe
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4-tmobile/general/firmwares-official-mdl-mk2-nb4-t2816508
and was following this guide
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4-tmobile/help/nb4-to-nh7-firmware-upgrade-via-odin-t2880284
so after I upgraded Via Odin everything passed I rebooted the phone but it was stuck in a boot loop screen from T-Mobile for almost 2 hours
I Pulled the battery the put it back in and rechargred my phone for a bit then I tried to reinstall M919UVUFNK2 via Odin again then it failed now I get this Screen

I still can get in to Download mode though
Can someone help me out or point me in the right direction I even tried Kies 3 and it always stops at about 96% same with Odin

Ok Fixed it after many hours of searching it was right under my nose , I flashed the latest TWRP Tar file Via Odin and Viola Stock Rom is working M919UVUFNK2, now unto the root
Good luck with the root, I've soft bricked about 5 times so far trying to flash SU and TWRP. For some reason when the M919UVUFNK2 firmware came out my phone did a auto ota which baffles me since root/SU stop carrier access for ota. All info I've found on downgrading to 4.4.2 will brick the device to :/

It depends how root was acquired, if system files are modified, kernel, or recovery, then it won't OTA. NK2 is rootable, and I've also had no problems installing twrp. Must be something you're doing. What is your procedure?

Bootloop and Only Stock recovery appearing

Hello all,
I wanted to switch from Custom ROM to stock ROM (as I am selling my phone; and the seller insists that I have a stock ROM) and downloaded the latest ROM from smamobile.com.
http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/35296/N7100XXUFNI1_N7100ODDFNI1_INU/
The above firmware was installed successfully and I got a "pass" message in ODIN. But the problem comes after this.
The phone stays in the Samsung scree for more than 1 Hr and then boots into Stock recovery. The same happens when I select the "reboot system now" from the recovery. The phone gets stuck at Samsung screen and boots in recovery. The same cycle continues. Samsung screen -> Stock Recovery -> Samsung Screen -> Stock Recovery..............................
Is there a way, I can make the phone boot and have the stock Samsung ROM running?
Please help !!!!
Screenshot of the stock recovery screen which comes up every time I reboot.

Same problem here. Bootloop, stock recovery and the option Factory reset didn't work. I tried a lot of stock roms and stock recovery, cf-root, pit file and repartition... and always failed the process in Odin.
I need help. Any idea?
Thanks in advance.
Are you using the original Samsung USB cable to flash? Tried different USB cables, USB ports, and versions of Odin?
If you are using the stock ROM from sammobile.com, only unzip the file once and flash the ROM in PDA box for Odin 3.07 without a pit file.
