Check your imei here and you have the lastest kdz for your G3 : http://lg-phone-firmware.com/index.php?firmware=1

You can just press vol down to reboot the phone normally. This happened to me until I decided I didn't like the error message and I flashed stock rom which was a b***h! Because the stock rom would flash the id get factory reset status 2 (soft bricked) Then I learned that the LG flash tool DOES NOT like USB 3.0! The thick and thin of it is just flash stock rom using USB 2.0

[q] Strange reboot and bootloops

Hi everyone!
A friend of mine tried to flash/destroy his n7100 (i don't know why!) so He gave it to me to "play" and try to recover it.
I think that He tried to flash a 4.4.2 stock rom taken somewhere, so I have the lastest bootloader
I recovered it with KIES (that installed android 4.3) and the phone (now) boot completely and works at 100%!
BUT
sometimes when I detach it from power cord it immediatelly reboot and remain stuck at the "samsung galaxy note n7100" screen and bootloops.
If I reattach the power cord at the next poweroff/poweron cycle the phone start correctly and works 100%!!
Actually I'm on a full stock with root and TWRP installed, but this reboots happens also on full stock
It's really strange and I don't know how to get rid of this!
Actually the custom flash counter report 9 and the knox warranty void is at 1.
Someone has any idea of to get rid of theese strange reboots?

The actual bootloader is installed by kies... So which bootloader I have to install?
The only one that odin let me flash without problem is the one with 4.4.2 android from
N7100XXUEMK9_N7100ITVEMK2_N7100XXUEMJ9
every other bootloader I tried give me a flash error and the screen show "incompatible version".
This will solve also the reboot part?

Hello,
I have the same issues but I fear in my case these are early symptoms of a EEMC brick bug :crying:
I am on TWRP with Omega v24 and latest bootloader (i know because I have wifi, otherwise I would't have)
I got inconsistencies in the file system and today I had a UID mismatch message error at boot
I would like to format all the partitions (data/system/ecc) and flash a Rom via Odin just be sure...
Why are you sure that this rom should avoid reboot errors? Is there anyway to install this ROM or any other ROM via Odin so I can format all the partitions just to be sure?
Thanks!

You can flash with odin and repartition with your pit (or another from xda but be careful with that) your same stock and then flash the indicated rom so you have a clean installation

Do you have cwm? Then you can full wipe, then again you can format each partition separately, then go to android development thread, rom repository and download and flash stock rom, I suggested that specific rom because without the air command mod it's almost stock, without the Damned Knox.

Ok, I flashed bootloader (only sboot) from
N7100XXUEMK9_N7100ITVEMK2_N7100XXUEMJ9
then flashed
n7100xxufnb4_unsecure.zip
from TWRP (and wiped everything before flashing of course)
The situation is the same of before, but the phone now doesnt boot completely, just remains at "samsung" logo.
Any idea?

[Q] Please get me Stock Bootloader from KDZ

Hi everyone.
I'm so frustrated for a week to get get back to Stock Recovery Menu from CWM Recovery. The problem is, I want to restore Stock Firmware for my LG Optimus G E973 but it won't work unless I role back to Stock Recovery Menu. I've been searching around for it but no luck. Now the only hope is to get Stock Recovery image and push it into the phone and I think the only ways to get it is, someone backup Stock Recovery from the same phone model or extract it from original Stock ROM image. I failed to do so. For the convenience to download the KDZ file, I uploaded it to Google Drive with the link below. I bag you, PLEASE, help me get Stock Recovery image from the .kdz file I uploaded for you. I will wait for your response every seconds and thank in advance.

Why not just flash back the official kdz? The download mode works regardless you have stock recovery or CWM.
I did. it won't work. I used KDZ_FW_UPD_EN with .kdz file while putting my phone in Download Mode. Then the program restart the phone to proceed the installation but CWM recovery appear instead of stock recovery and nothing happen.

this is all you need, back your data up then firstly you need " hard reset procedure " then flash kdz i used this too many time but dont forget it will erase all your data (sd card too)

You need to flash official full KDZ upgrade. What phone you have originally? F180 or E975? or some other? Wipe + Factory reset in recovery before putting into download mode. (The major nuisance with this set is all you can do is power button thingi and no battery pullouts.

Error: Boot certification vertify; TWRP and Fastboot

Hi guys,
This day I flashed a new rom with my g3 (I went form Claudy 2.5 to Flumics 2.7). Flashing goes fast and without any problems, phone boots normal. Then I decided to look up a few things in the rom. I searched and found a point named devic hidden menu (I did not insert a nummber in the dialer). I clickt at it and get in the normal hidden menu. I read the textes there and found one interesting, i hope i rember it right, it was called devic test. So I clicked on it and then bad thinks started.
My phone rebooted, but in the start screen my phone stuck and in the upper right corner i can read:
Error: Boot certification vertify
Secure booting error
Cause: Boot certification vertify
Afer that the led started blinking red and blue.
I have Fastboot mode enabeled and I can get into Recovery (TWRP). So I tried to fix it with flashing my cloudy nandroid backup, wipe everything and to flash a "New" Flumics 2.5 Version, but it didn't worked.
I knew (and I read) Threads about topics like that, but im not sure if they can help, I need you're help guys! How can I fixs this, should I try to simply fash a stock rom?

I´m not sure that he works, when I press volume up + power button and then connect it via usb to my pc my pc makes a noise like you´re plugging in a usb stick but I don´t see at the pc. On my phone I don´t get this "download mode information". When I go in TWRP and click on reboot "bootloader" I get into fastboot.
My issu is that I maked a device test, my phone rebootet an now it don´t boot any more, I just get to the lg logo and then I´m gettint this error. Then 2 or 4 sec later the led starts blinking and screen turns of.
This is my rom Flumics 2.7 . I thing it is based von V21c.
Wait, you can go to twrp ?
As for download mode, it's "hold volume up and connect", no power key..

Bricked G4 H815, I have Download Mode

Dear Sir,
I have Download mode but my device not detected in download mode. I have G2 is working very well but my G4 not working.
I have installed a new ROM then I get black screen and my G4 is restarting every 10 sec.
I used the original cable for G4.
Can someone help me.

Can you elaborate with more details - which rom, what was the system etc..etc..
Can you try to enter recovery mode? (hold volume down and power and keep holding)
Anyway if the rom broke "something" it wouldn´t break the recovery partition...

1- My software was Stock 5.0 then I have rooted then install Genisys Rom 4.3.
2- No recovery mode because I flashed ( Fastboot flash twrp-2.8.7.0-h815.img) I forgot recovery and should be (Fastboot flash recovery twrp-2.8.7.0-h815.img).
Explain please how did you boot recovery. Did you do fastboot boot twrp-*.img ?
Can you take a photo of the download mode?
Try the lg mobile support tool rather than the lgup then, just to see what happens. (Or lg bridge)

LG G4 - Boot problem - Download mode works

Hi,
I have problem with my LG G4 (H815). I has stacked at boot screen and sometimes it is able to boot to home screen but after a few second of work, it restarts again. Few days ago the situation was the same but after a few attempts it booted normally. I can normally enter recovery mode and download mode.
Has anyone idea what to do to recover data (photos) from it?
I will probably try to flash stock firmware via LG Tool but I don't know which version is now installed and I cannot find a proper kdz file.
Can anyone help to find a proper kdz file for this phone? and give a link to quide how to flash phone without wipe data?

o when you mentioned recovery i wasnt expecting the stock recovery.. so does your phone boot.? does it have the infamous bootloop when you see logo and it reboots again into a bootloop sometimes optimizing apps then reboots..?
if so i think the only way to recover data its to use the freezer method.. search for it... sorry
if its bootloop then its hardware and needs to be sent to LG just make sure the moisture strips arent allow to get losit or water.
is there any way to force bootloop???? with a kdz file or changing something with root permision ??? i need to send my phone to the SAT

You need to have an unlocked bootloader to do so.
What are the first 3 digits of your serial number (sticker behind battery)
If it starts with 5xx your chances are good to have the boot loop issue which is hardware related.
Try the freezer method to recover and send the device to LG for replacement.
