Just wondering because I live right on the edge of the lte service and sometimes it freezes my service from switching to lte and back. I have to restart my phone when then happens and it's very annoying. Tried switching to just cdma but the setting won't stick.

Is there any way to "automate" this, i.e. assign a macro or such?
I bought an E975 on ebay but the seller sent me a F180L instead. I wanted to return it but then read that i can convert it to an E975.
I flashed the E97510d rom for Poland to change the language to english and flashed the F180L modem/radio on top.
I get good reception but the internet is very slow. In my network settings im only getting option to choose between GSM and WCDMA.
Is there a way to enable HSPDA like on the internation E975? The frequency my local carrier uses is 900/2100.
If someone has had a similar issue and can help me please reply
Why did you opened a new thread, since we already had one opened with the same issue? Not to mention there you already have the solution?
OMG.

My issue is enabling HSPDA, i already have WCDMA and working radio. Is there a fix for that already because i read all the threads and could find it.
Since you are in a total blank, let me clarify something for you.the speed you provided here(384k) is EDGE and it has nothing to do with WCDMA,which IS 3G HSPA.Your carrier uses this standard(UMTS 900/2100) or WCDMA.
My guess you don't have the correct apn settings.
And again, the solution was already given in the other thread. If you can't read, not my problem.

I meant what i said, i am connected to WCDMA and not edge and the speed is around 350k max. secondly the apn is correct as i get about 4mb on my O2x with same APN. And i the solution in other threads is to enable non working radio/modem. I clearly mentioned i have working radio and just need HSPDA enabled instead of WCDMA. No need to be rude

it does not, i guess i'll just flash the hong kong or Eur rom instead of the poland one and try
Well, you messed up your phone and i'm rude...right ..
Select first option in network menu and reboob.
If it still doesn't work, you need F180 modem.

WCDMA encompasses all 3g. There is no separate setting for HSDPA.

in the philippines, and ofcourse i know that. The carrier is not a problem because its supported. the problem is the phone settings, the f240k model has an option on the settings to choose between cdma/lte or just cdma. but this one hte f240L doesnt have that.

I'm having the same problem with Three UK, no 4G. Although 4G worked on my Lumia 1020 with the same SIM a few days ago.
If I go into the hidden menu under LTE you can set it to use LTE and it connects to 4G brefiely then goes back to 3G and it never shows GSM/ WCDMA / LTE auto in the mobile networks menu, just GSm / WCDMA auto.
I noticed on the demo unit in a Three store that the phones software version was V10a-EUR-XX whereas mine is V10g-HKG-XX.

if you have root you can try deleting (or renaming) LTE Config.apk from /system/app

Is there anything that can be done without root? I've tried setting the LTE in the hidden services menu and it connects foe a few seconds and then goes back to HSDPA. If seeting to LTE only it stays on LTE but not sure how it will work if I leave 4G coverage? I've also enabled fast dormancy but that doesn't seem to help.
There was a discussion about this in the UK thread, some phones came with 4G deactivated (on the 800MHz band used by 3 and Vodafone) that had to be activated at every boot. Replacing it fixed the problem as its not supposed to happen. But since the phone is from Asia who knows. Im not sure if flashing the eur version of the rom would work?

fast dormancy is a network dependant setting that has nothing to do with the generation of signal you are receiving.
The only other option you have is to try and flash another firmware version.

LTE will work from the hidden menu, or download 4G switcher from the Play store which will take you to the menu also. Just change it to LTE/GSM/WCDMA and it will work on the 4G network (at least on 3 UK). LG UK support will not help as it came from HK. I still want to know if I can flash a Euro 32GB ROM to my phone to get it working natively.
make sure u have activate your LTE with your carrier,i you have done it,and still didnt have LTE, try the hidden menu,or try 4G switch frm playstore, rooting and deleting lteconfig from system/app would be your last option (i prefer this)

thank you, this fixed my problem!
my lte/3g/2g settings was everytime reset to 2g/3g modus when i got back to settings. i deleted lte config.apk and the .odex file, rebooted and BAM! it keeps on lte/3g/2g
Solved
I had the same issue (no LTE option in Networks configuration menu), until today: My phone installed firmware V10i-HKG-XX, and now I have the "GSM/WCDMA/LTE auto" option in Preferred Network Mode.
Cheers

Do the following -
1. From the dailer, type in 3845#*855#
2. Select LTE Only
3. Modem Setting
4. RAT Selection
5. GSM/WCDMA/LTE Auto
You should now receive 4G but everytime you reboot, you have to repeat this procedure

Hi guys
I recently bought a lg k10 but it turns out that in my country does not connect to the 3G that transmits in 900MHz but my phone has for 2G / 3G / 4G.
My question is
- How do I know if my phone has this frequency disabled?
- Is there any way to enable a frequency that is still disabled by software?
Regards
Your phone doesn't have this freq. disabled by software, I doubt that LG has fall that low. However maybe your phone is nrtwork locked and can be used only on particular network. You probably have bought phone in other country for which market is phone built so it support their frequency. Here check here http://willmyphonework.net
