Just got the m9 T-Mobile. Every time im in themeS it says sense home stopped unexpectedly. Every single time. It's been updated to newest software too.

uninstall the sense home update

There's an update? On not 100% sure but I think this happens even on first boot after erasing phone and starting fresh.

Hi Buggs,
guess I should have checked my apps first. But when I looked in the Play Store there was an update for sense home So I updated and voila, it has disappeared. hope that helps

All apps are updated.
Man SwiftKey sucks. I swipe updated and no matter what it thinks I mean hosted. I hate all non Samsung keyboards they all sucks big time.
Games are crashing all the time so I'm maybe going to return the m9.

Woah, IDK how you can have too many problems, I have bought it and no problems about it. But I had installed the UK WWE edition instead the dammn Chinese one (imported one)

[Q] Froyo & Nascar App FC

I havent been able to get the Nascar app to work on any 2.2 rom. Says there is an update but it errors out and fails. Some roms you get the nascar splash screen then it just closes, no fc message just disappears. Anybody know how to fix this? thanks.

Anybody using Froyo and Nascar successfully?
Same here. I know that I am in the minority with the Sprint Apps, but I do like the Nascar and Football ones that they provide. I have heard the stories about how the new Sprint football app is not as good as it once was. That's no big deal to me as I never saw it. On the other hand, I do like all of the things that the Nascar app can do and it helps when I am out and about to stay abreast of the action. The other sports apps end up being laps behind and I just feel cheated
I have tried going back to stock rooted backing up through Titanium and then restoring once I am back to the other ROM. No go. Starts and then just shuts down.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Post the apk and I'll give it a shot.
OK Nascar fan here...first I was rooted but decided to go complete stock Froyo 2.2 and all updated software including pri/prl. NASCAR is working fine on stock. I guess to say that was to say it is not in the NASCAR program. You using the latest radio/baseband?

During the race I turned it off...when I turned it back on said it had update. Did the update now it will not connect...not good.
Text NASCAR to 7777 and you will get a text message link to download app and it should work. I had this same problem today and just got it fixed.

You guys still able to use this app? I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling both new and older versions and both result in the app closing once it gets to the loading screen. Odd thing is when I do the text message thing and go to the link it says the app isn't available for my device. Dunno what the deal is here. It worked before fine and I haven't changed roms at all still on Caulk's 1.1

I had problems with caulks rom and the text deal as well as the apk not working. Changed to Myns rom and listened to Jr and Lance fight all day..

[Resolved] Apex 9/24 Update FC's

Don't install the new Apex Launcher update until you've read the long list of reviews posted on the Playstore. *Everyone* is having FC issues. I hope this excellent launcher gets fixed soon.
It seems that the beta version of 1.3 (not available on the Playstore) was working fine for everyone, but the release version is apparently seriously broken. So until it's repaired, which will probably be soon, it's best to take a pass on the update.
Edit: See message #6 for a link to the working beta if you need it. (Thank you, jaidenwarren). The beta does work with the Pro license if you have it.
Edit 2: Reviews are now saying that the FC problem has been fixed.
Thanks for the heads up. But I recommend everyone uses beta version. Never any issues with them.

Yep, took down both Nexus phones here, one running JB and one running ICS. Luckily I had a backup on my JB one, my partner's phone wasn't so lucky.
Anyone having the force closes just reinstall the beta version if you were on one.

Well, I'm sure the Apex developer has woken up to a nightmare scenario this morning. I'm a little surprised that the Playstore page hasn't at least reverted to the old version until the new one is fixed. Must have his hands full at the moment.
If, like me, you have Apex set up as the default launcher and stock launcher removed, the update can sort of soft-brick your phone. I had to restore a nandroid to get my phone back, like some others.

And the version pushed out to the Play Store is newer than beta6.
That is why you always read the comments before updating an app
(unless you have auto-update enabled)

Worked fine for me after i uninstall apex and installing it again unchecking auto update .pain in the ass to re-do your settings though

Just checked and apparently the broken Apex update has been fixed. At least that's what the reviews are saying now. Haven't tested it personally. Incidentally, it now wants more permissions (read call log).
Take a look at the one-star-review bar on the Apex Playstore page. It jumped from nearly invisible to very substantial overnight! Every dev's nightmare.
I can confirm that the latest version in the Play Store is now working.

Yeah, the update this morning killed it for me but the update I got later today made it all better
Don't update using the web downloader just tried it and every time I tried to go to home it fc. Then I updated on Google play and it fixed it.

Next Launcher 3D comments?

I'm trying out Next Launcher 3D trial version and I like what I see. However, I seemed to get into some reboots
and boot loops since I installed it. I'm wondering if it's just me or are there any known problem with it?
I read their facebook page and it seemed to cause some problem on the S4 (bootloops) but I couldn't
find anything related to Note 2 (but that doesn't mean it did not happen).
I'd appreciate all inputs. Thank you very much!

I use the paid version of this app, its my favorite launcher, i have had no issues, or reboots since i have had it on my phone. i would recommend it to anyone looking for a smooth launcher with ALOT of cool features.

I just tried the trial version on Google Play Store. Not sure if it's any different than the paid version.
Emails sent to the developers and also posted on their Facebook page went unanswered...
(if pre-sale support is that bad, I can imagine how post-sale support looks like )
If you look at their changes log, every single update has this line:
fixed some crashes.
So, yes, it's probably not just you...
I love how it looks and function, but waiting 15-30 seconds several times a day for it to reload because it crashed after unlocking the phone, is unacceptable.

S Finder Emergency Update

Has anybody gotten this message/update? Is it safe to update with root?
Yes - I had this too and updated. But I suddenly thought that it didn't seem quite normal

Just checked and it shows in my task manager as a Samsung Apps notice but when I open the Samsung Apps app it disappeared and does not show in Notifications. Very strange, I would proceed with caution until you know for sure that it's an official update​

edit: Seems legit, since "Samsung Apps" is running the service/process (EUpdateService) (?)
I too have this on galaxy s5 I've emailed Samsung support for advice will post their response.
I'm guessing it's legit. I cancelled it to check which version I currently have and it's 1.0. I went to the Samsung Apps app and found this. S Finder 1.3 ready to update.
If anything, I'll update from Samsung Apps instead of this emergency message thing.
Just did the same as rawrfische took me from ver 1.0 to ver 2.2 don't seem to be getting pop-up anymore

Funny thing is that I cannot find S Finder anywhere in my Apps drawer but i can access it by holding down the menu button. I am rooted but didn't freeze it. I hope that updating it doesn't affect root.
How come everyone seems to be offered ver 1.3 not ver 2.2 as I was offered?

S Finder Update
I *hope* this is the correction to the S Finder search issues that I've encountered since the kitkat update. I absolutely loved s finder because it could search both my phone and other apps, most importantly, Evernote, with a single menu button click. since the update to kitkat, it has no longer been able to search Evernote or any of the other apps. I have posted about this problem at least three forums for Android, as well as the Evernote forum, but have gotten no meaningful responses to date. Fingers crossed!
I'm on AT&T NOTE 3 un Maryland but have not gotten the update as yet. Anyone have any other info re rollout timing?

The latest update to Chrome (webview) on March 6th breaks the HTC Mail app. It will FC or crash when trying to reply or compose. The app's reviews are taking a beating in the app store over it because folks are not associating it to the Chrome update but rather think HTC broke it somehow. To fix - roll back (Uninstall) Chrome. I hope this helps a few folks.

Thank you soooo much for this info! I was getting desperate. I uninstalled Chrome updates, turned off auto-update, then rebooted. HTC Mail reply/reply all function now working again. For clarity, this is for an unlocked HTC-10 with the lastest Android 8.0 update package. Although the Android update was performed at least three weeks ago, the mail app only started to crash yesterday (at least as far as the first time I detected the crash behavior). This is the first real root cause solution I've found. Thanks again!

Just use Gmail app guys. It is decent and, most importantly, stays up-to-date.
Still present in Chrome Beta 66.0.3359.30 selecting it as the webview handler in developer options.
If HTC are expecting Google to revert whatever they have done, will be a long wait. Fortunately they tend to release new versions with new devices so we will hopefully only have to wait that long.

Uninstalled updates for Chrome, and installed this version manually https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-inc/chrome/chrome-64-0-3282-137-release/
That's the version just prior to the breaking one. Everything seems to be working fine. Disabled auto-update as well.

Also still broken with 10.80 but thats also older than this Chrome update, truly do hope HTC are on the case with it tho!
I can see a suggestion this is fixed in Chrome 66.0.3359.33 and beyond:

I only have 66.0.3359.30 right now so can't check.

So will be fixed at some point at least!
So the issue is gone with both the latest beta and canary versions but as I understand it, this is a workaround by Google and something HTC still need to fix.
If I use an API in my application and the API changes, I need to change my application and not wait for the API to change back (will not happen)...
HTC needs to fix this, not Google. They could even push code to the Chromium project, but it would be better if they took a look at HTC Mail first...
Also it is NOT an option to uninstall updates, ever. Updates are there for a reason
