Do not hesitate . I couldn't as well. But when I put the sequence of Img in the CSC and I flashed, it worked perfectly.
Remember the size of the .img has to be around 500 Kb and 240x800 to its correct working.
Best Regards.

I have an Oppo Find 7 x9076 US version. Ran the dng as follows "dcptool img.dng img.xml" let me know if you need it ran any other way or if you want the original.
Real quick, would this camera app work on CM11 for Find 7... I'm still on the native os "Color OS"(which is very clunky) but I don't want to move over to CM11 without a camera that can do RAW.

in theory since cm11 uses the same hal as color is you could you use stock camera app in cm11 it probably just needs a quick XML edit Post the color os camera app will search what libs are needed. thanks for the XML the Matrix was empty tho oh let someone running cm11 try freedcam in settings image quality picture formats look for jpeg+dng /jpeg+raw.

yeah dcraw decodes it it was an image of raw camera thread.
Oppo Camera uses standard raw picture callback then saves the bytestream with .dng extension will enable it in freedcam the method exists just disabled not sure if the cm11 libs will pull raw stream but it will not hurt to try.
What's Poster Mode in the Camera? it uses jni libs that I could import into freedcam.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/find-7/themes-apps/oppocamera-apk-chinese-beta-rom-t2809177
The only other features worth exploiting if even possible would be
"Super Zoom", a 50mp photo compilation of multi shots
and maybe a color profile for Adobe Camera/Lightroom since it appears that native C.OS Raw files are appearing very purpleish (70s retro feel)

Having issue with rawcallback code because oppo uses a hidden api
the method is this android. hardware . Camera . addRawImageCallbackBuffer
in the stock camera apk that code is executed before take picture executes raw call back I've tried using reflection to allow me to access that method see this commit https://github.com/troop/FreeDCam/commit/1539cf777a29023bd7c1c2c3e088ed62de0c973b
but I still get the method not found error even the the method exists in the framework once I get this right I believe it should be matter of saving the bytes to file as dng

Updated OP and Reduced FPS as Requested
It is too fast. Can you please make it slower!
Are you able to repack this into the resolution of 1920 1080 that will work on the 2014 Moto X. It currently only fills about half the screen currently. I attempted to resize all the images and then update the txt doc but i cant seem to get it to work.
Plz someone hold down the FPS.....

HTC 10 MM CamPack for m9 CM/AOSP/CandySix
Update: New version includes the HTC 10 Camera. I haven't got much testing done, but thought I'd share. Please let me know if there are any issues.
This is a flashable zip that contains everything needed for the Stock HTC m9 Camera for Marshmallow to work on CandySix for the m9. I have tested this on the CandySix Verizon build from 1/25. The download may seem large, but that is because of the extra packages that are needed in order for everything to function. I have only found two things that currently do not work. There is no option for Raw Camera. I think this has something to do with the kernel, but not sure. I'm not a kernel guy so I won't be able to do anything about it. Slow Motion video records, but the Gallery will not play the video in slow motion. It plays the video in regular motion. I am still trying to track down the cause of this.
Apps included in pack:
HTC m9 MM Camera
HTC m9 MM Gallery
HTC Video Player - Needed for Gallery to display and play Videos properly
HTC Zoe Video Editor - Needed to Edit Videos from Gallery
Standard disclaimer: Flash at your own risk. Make a backup first, yada, yada, yada...
To install:
Flash zip from TWRP
To remove:
Dirty flash the rom
The script will remove the stock Gallery app.
The script will remove the stock CM camera if installed. Currently CandySix does not se the CM camera so you will have 2 camera's installed, the SD Camera and the HTC camera.
This may or may not work on other CM/AOSP based builds, but I am on Verizon and unfortunately do not have the option of trying others out. CandySix is the only one that will support us poor Verizon folk...:crying:

None that I am aware of. I tested all video modes and they all worked. Only issue I noticed was with slow motion video. The video records fine, the gallery sees it as slow motion, but it will not play it in slow motion. It plays it full speed.

Heya,
Here is a simple to use script to build splash.img from 5 PNG's. The 5 PNG's are:
Mi logo screen on locked bootloader
Fastboot image
Mi logo screen on unlocked bootloader
'System destroyed' image
'Please lock the bootloader' early splash.
Like the old script, there is still a size limit per splash. However there is an alternative mode or "hack" that lets you use a larger PNG for image #3, at the expense of rendering image #4 broken (and who cares about that one, right?).
Usage is simple - just download, replace the PNG's in "input" folder, and run the tool. If there are any errors it will say so, otherwise you will get a splash.img that you can flash in fastboot:
Code:
fastboot flash splash splash.img
The original input folder has all the stock images included.
Enjoy!
Download from GitHub (Press the green 'Clone or Download' button -> 'Download ZIP'.
AV Warning: Some security software might flag the EXE as suspicious. It's written in a language called AutoIt which is a common language for keyloggers and bots and stuff because it's super easy and awesome to do all kinds of stuff with it. Ignore it/exclude it, or you can compile the included .au3 source yourself if you don't trust it.
Bonus: pre-made splash IMG's included in repo. Flashable ZIP's attached, credits to @GokulNC for the ZIP template.

Impossible. Tool is written in AutoIt which is Windows-only. I hate Python lol. Of course anybody is free to rewrite a cross-plarform implementation, I just won't.

No. Just replace it with the same image so you see no transition.
Even if you wipe splash partition, it doesn't make the boot any faster.

No lol. Other people with more time can make pre-made packs.
Someone volunteer please, I've got development to do.
I made this tool so people would NOT request special treatment from me. Try it in Wine or just get Windows in a VM like all serious people do or something, locking yourself to one OS is silly.
32 bit OS is non support?

Wow that's weird. I wonder why.
Maybe because I've included Windows version of Python 2.7. Did the "converting" part take longest? That calls the python binary + a script.

Yes, i think it was because python is windows version, wine as to call two exe (the tool and python) the longer time is when processing RLE...
In the end all worked and that is what matter...
Just one question, whats the size limit of images?

If you check the .au3 file (source code), you can see a couple of arrays at the beginning that show the size limits in bytes. The first one is standard limit, the second array is with the larger 03 hack.
But this is the size limit of the RLE files. It's impossible to calculate the RLE size without actually converting it first. It's a very different (more basic) compression method than PNG and can't be predicted.
