I am on red pocket att and I think I configure the apn correctly, but i could not connect to the data.
I think i might have messed my phone. Can someone post me the default setting for "preferred network" in the *#*#4636#*#* (call *#*#4636#*#* )
Is there way to reset that to default?

[Q] Simpati 3G APN settings - Bali

Hi there.
Is anyone from Bali/Indonesia able to help me set up my Simpati 3G APN settings.
I thought I had done it, but I do not have the option of thr radio button.
My wifes Samsung Galaxy was easy to do, it set up the APN's automatically.
Cheers.
as far as i know, the APN for Simpati is : internet
Other field just let it blank
You can access the menu by click: setting>wireless&network>mobile network> access point name

How to change Bands? Enter Network Control mode?

I have seen a few postings mention this.
Dial *#197328640#
This brings up the debug screen (service mode)
I unlocked my T-mobile Samsung Galaxy S4 and I am trying to use it on an AT&T mnvo but I do not get any data service. So I am wondering if the bands need to be changed in this menu or some other menu on the phone?
Does anyone now this information? I am trying to determine the cause of no data on my Red Pocket sim card. I have the APN Settings correct and registered on the Network but still no data connection.

Disable 2G (LTE/UMTS only) solution

Sometimes the phone jump to 2G (EDGE) for no reason while HSPA and LTE work perfectly.
Here is the solution (and it will stay after power cycle):
Dial *#*#4636#*#*
Phone Information
Scroll down to network mode and choose "LTE/WCDMA"
Reboot the phone immediately.
This method works for me.
Almost, its *#*#4636#*#*
Trying to do this on my D855 international G3, on lollipop, but can't get into the phone information .
*#*#4636#*#* works, but when I click on Phone Information, an error is given 'note this application does not work on this device' . I suspect a changed lollipop radio/Rom thing.
Any idea on how to achieve this another way?

Did you manage to fix it?
is there a solution for this on asop (euphoria 7/06)?.... after a call it goes to 2g and it "never" switches back to lte
New method:
Dial 277634#*# and you can get in Hidden Menu -> RAT Selection.
Typing 3856#*855# into the dialer allowed be in, then choose LTE, then RAT options.
Using the G3 D850 (AT&T) for t-mobile but it rarely conects to 4G LTE, it's usually on 2G, tried doing the above, with the *#*#4636#*#* code came up a error that I can't access that app, and in the hidden menu I couldnt find where/how to set WCDMA or LTE only, any new way to do this?
Qwerty when in hidden menu choose LTE-ONLY > then >modem setting> then > rat selection works on my g3

Candy5 ROM ATT cannot receive calls.

Hey guys, so i cant post on the candy5 rom page since i dont have 10 posts and im new. My problem is (and I have searched all over the thread) that I cannot receive any calls, it goes straight to voicemail. I can make calls send txt and receive txt everything works great except for when someone tries to call me. I am running the latest 2.6 firmware from att. Please help me if you can I dont know what is going on.
EDIT: Ok so i went into my Phone Info setting using *#*#4636#*#* and my "preferred network type" is always set to LTE/GSM auto (PRL). I changed it back to WCDMA preffered and it works for a while. However after a while it goes straight back to LTE/GSM auto (PRL) and doesnt work. Idk if this is the only fix to my problem. And if someone can explain to me why this might be happening id really appreciate it.
try changing your apn under settings\mobile networks. I changed mine to "ATT phone" and it works fine.

mate 20x Cannot connect to LTE network

I just bought mate 20x Global version EVR-L29
my problem is I am unable to connect to my 4g network
I tried to install apps like settings database editor to force 4G/LTE only for Huawei
but every time I pick LTE only or GSM/WCDMA/LTE or any type of settings my connection to my mobile network stop working
I lose mobile network connection and I am unable to do basic phone calls
The only way for me to make phone calls is when I pick up GSM ONLY
Any suggestions on what is wrong with my phone or what I should do?
I live now in Egypt using Vodafone network . The phone was bought from the USA.
thank you in advance for your help
Have you gone into your network settings and manually changed your apn settings to work with Vodafone? Google search Vodafone Egypt 4G apn settings or call Vodafone to get them. See if what you already have on your phone is the same.

I did the following so far and with no sucess
1-factory reset
2-tried 3 different sim cards with 3 different networks each one with the right APN settings sent to me from network operator. So i have no problem with sim cards for sure.
3-installed an app called settong database editor and changed hardware network preference to "11" an advice given on youtube to enable me to force phone to operate on LTE only
NONE OF THE ABOVE RESOLVED MY PROBLEM
I Still lose connection with network and unable to do phone calls once i pick any settings but "GSM only " for data connection.
I do not know what to do.
What version Android do you have? If it's 10 then you need to install the APN manually.
