After Install: (Recommended)
Please allow about 10-15 minutes to boot up after initial boot.
Recommended to wait up to five minutes on initial boot before doing anything, then do a full restart.
To get back Developer Options go in to Settings, About Phone and rapidly tap Build Number until it says your a developer.
Notes:
There will be around 12 updates in the Play Store after initial boot. I try to keep all the apps updated but it is hard so please bare with me.
You must already be on the latest OTA from Sprint in order to flash Lollipop based ROMs.
For proper flash have at least 80% battery and MAKE SURE you wipe System, Data, Cache, Dalvik Cache 3 times then Factory Reset 3 times.
To enable Floating Messages properly you have to go into settings in the Messaging App, choose Notifications and make sure Pop-up Display is checked and you will have Floating Messages.
Battery Tip: (For people who may seem like there battery life isn't the way it should be, please consider doing the following.)
Install these two apps Repair Battery Life and Battery Calibration.
Make sure your battery is fully charged and unplugged.
Run the Repair Battery App first and fix any issues that occur.
Now plug phone back into charger.
Run the Battery Calibration App.

This rom is beast been on it for 2 days for wifi calling use gt tools from idone it will give you all toggles for wifi calling...this rom is blazing fast loud as hell for music and stable just wait for the rest of the goodies to come

Just an FYI, to get WiFi calling in settings you need to modify the CSC features file. If you swap it with the one is the spr folder WiFi calling should show up.

Looking good my man! @dschachm is right. Wi-Fi calling needs the correct CSC features before it will be enabled. The bootloader looks for the main features.xml in the main csc directory as well as the SPR sub directory. Set the main csc xml's to reflec SPR in all locations of the files where appropriate and this will fix all issues csc related.

No, I never installed that kind of app,
I just flashed rom, wiped data and cache and run.
In status bar, Wifi icon is slightly highlighted, as if trying to turn on.

As many of you know, I've spent so long dealing with all these stock ROM's and never really branched out into the world of custom ROM's. I can never find a ROM that is 100% what I want. I find a lot that come close but never 100%. So I decided to branch out and try my hand at making my own custom ROM. I got what I wanted for my S5 and was then asked to port it over to the Note 2. So..I am still on 4.1.2 stock rooted rom. Never made the jump. But now my gps is acting up. Since this is mostly stock..can I just install this from the recovery or do I need to do all the fixes first?

So..I am still on 4.1.2 stock rooted rom. Never made the jump. But now my gps is acting up. Since this is mostly stock..can I just install this from the recovery or do I need to do all the fixes first?

You'll have to flash the NE2 TAR first. Without the NE2 bootloader the ROM won't boot. I think other than that you shouldn't need to do anything special (besides the usual rooting and flashing a custom recovery).
Ok any special recovery is best? I am on the older version of the teamwin .

I don't believe so, but I wasn't able to test that as my S5 is currently my primary phone and my N2 isn't activated.

Since you weren't sure, I gave it a try. I'm sorry to report that it does have the same lag. I'm not surprised, since you're using Chaz's as a base. But I was hoping.
Well crap! I was getting all excited to finally have a lag free phone dialer. What's the deal with that anyway? Is it the S5 dialer that's giving the black screen delay on incoming calls? Thanks for sharing this ROM rwilco12!!! I'll definitely give it a try!

thanks man I'm trying also..... can't figure out why it does it on first ring after reboot. ... I always call vm after reboot and its good until next reboot... I call vm alot with all my testing and theme stuff... lol

TWRP is recommended. But I am sure other recoveries will work as well. Make sure you have a backup handy just in case there is a problem with the flash.A FULL wipe is required. If you dirty flash thats on you. After the phone boots up, PLEASE let it sit for a few minutes to load up. Then reboot and profit.
HOW TO DO A FULL WIPE....( TWRP )
In TWRP there is a WIPE tab. When you select it, it brings you to the next page to perform a wipe. On that page it tells you what is going to be wiped at the top. IE:Factory Reset,Cache, and Dalvik. On the bottom of that page is a Swipe to Factory Reset. Swipe it. Once it has completed its actions hit the back button.
Now you will see a tab that says Advanced Wipe. Select it. On the next page you NEED to select the following:
DALVIK CACHE
SYSTEM
CACHE
After you have made those selections you need to Swipe to Wipe at the bottom of the page. Once it completes its actions you may then flash your rom. Now everyone knows how to perform a FULL WIPE.

Wondering the same thing.
I'm loving it. ...wooooot I can finally post stuff !!!!!....I digress without all my normal build prop tweaks I redownloaded my normal apps quite quickly and minimal battery drain while still very fluidly without much lagging still did other random tasks thanks @The Sickness superb as always

4. DOWNLOAD Echoe Rom from one of the links above. Put either into internal or external SD Card.
5. In Recovery, Wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache, and Wipe data/factory reset and then Install Zip (from either external or internal SD depending on where you chose to save the Rom)
6. The installation process takes between 3-5 minutes. Let it do its job Also the 1st boot also takes 3-5 minutes. Yes it's stock TMO kernel (for now lol) so yes WiFi calling works (tested) VOLTE should work as well but not tested [emoji4]

The kernel is stock but there are some tweeks that will hopefully save some battery lol IMHO battery life depends on the user [emoji39]
Viper4Android Audio is included with the Rom and works well!
And as for the theme it's only settings dark themed for now but I know the inverted apps in TMO apps and theme section works for the dark dialer etc. etc. (just don't flash the settings zip all others are ok)

Still old base. Having trouble with systemui.apk from echoe playing nicely with NK2. Please don't ask for an eta. As of right now, I believe there is no performance improvement in NK2 over this rom. This is the fastest, smoothest, most customizable rom on the sprint note 4 to date. Thanks again to tx_dbs_tx for the base and Friedrich420 for Echoe and the N4 AEL kernels.
After startup, update su binary, reinstall xposed framework(not the app newbies!!!!) then reboot. All your previous xposed settings will be back to the way you had them set up.
III. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Rooting tool from Chainfire (not necessary because by flashing the Rom you will be automatically rooted even if you weren't before)
EFS/IMEI Backup Tool by Dr.Ketan
1. USE CUSTOM RECOVERY (LINKS TO BOTH CWM and TWRP)
Note: As you know flashing any custom Rom will void your warranty and raise your knox warranty counter to 0x1
2. Make a FULL NANDROID BACKUP!!! (That includes Backing up your EFS)
3. DOWNLOAD Echoe Rom from one of the links above. Put either into internal or external SD Card.
4. In Recovery, Wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache, system, and Wipe data/factory reset and then Install Zip (from either external or internal SD depending on where you chose to save the Rom)
5. The installation process takes between 3-5 minutes. Let it do its job Also the 1st boot also takes 3-5 minutes. I would also recommend that before the initial setup, you dont do anything to your phone for 5 minutes... Let it settle and then proceed with the initial setup... That's just my usual ritual with any Rom I flash
6. Reboot and Enjoy Note: If in Recovery it ever asks you to "Fix Root" PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PRESS NO!!!
7. If by any chance you have any issues with LTE, do the following: Grab a root explorer. Go to data/property and find persist.radio.lteon. open it and change the value from false to true. Save and reboot..

You need to let it settle for 5 minutes. Did you do a clean install. Dirty flashes will not work.

Guess I can upload it to Mega. Dont know how long that will last.
More reviews please as I have been running this for 2 days with zero lag and no problems. I can not stress enough that you will need a full wipe. If you restore data to this rom from previous roms it will break it.

Another possible reason for lag is the use of kernel managers like setcpu. The kernel does not play nicely with those. Either use none or one from faux. I can post links to playstore apps. I will be uploading stock kernel and ael 4.5 momentarily. Both will be flashible
