Mi Band Problems - One (M7) Accessories

Hey guys
Don't know if this is the right thread to put this, but it is about an accessory and my HTC one
The thing is: I got a mi band last week and connected it with my HTC one
So far so good
And now the very confusing problem: I don't get notifications specifically from sms, whatsapp, telegram yet fb messenger and call-vibration works
Anybody any idea what could be the problem?
My DD is viper.ROM with elemental x
But I also tried it on Artmod sense 7 and euphoria os (both stock kernel) and for all 3 same problem
I also.tried the mi band on my gf's z1 to rule out any problems by the band
There everything works as it should
Leaving me very confused why specifically the fb messenger works but.everything else doesn't.

Hi,
The issue is because of Xiaomi's app which doesn't parse all notifications to the Mi band. Download the hacked/modified version of the Mi band app and you're good to go. I was researching this topic as I was pretty interested in the Mi band earlier, but dropped it in Favour of Micromax's Yu Fit band.
These links would help you:

Thanks for reply but I already used a tweaked version of the app where I could set notification access for different apps
And there out of all I checked only the fb manager worked :/
Will for now stick with the official app as it's a new version which is nowhere yet modded

Have u check "notify without delay" in the inner settings of notifications for each app you want a notification from?
I love stock android on Moto X 2014!!?

I downloaded it on my Flyer and transfered it to my One X via Titanium Backup. It's a really nice launcher on the tablet, but it sucks ram and battery on my One X. So I set up Apex to look like Chameleon.
Could anybody tell me how to install this on the htc one x

I don't recall any red bubbles on my sensation so it must be a sense 4+ thing. Anyway, that's probably part of the sense framework. However I can't tell if you're referencing the little popup with that happens when you get a text, if so that can be enabled via the messaging app's settings.
Nova launcher. Install its Tesla coil add on that provides the bubble notifications.

If tried it with my Apex Pro version, but there is only the phone, sms and gmail app working.
Does with Nova also the native E-Mail app works?
R: HTC like notification?
Yes, you can have bubble with number on any app. You have to buy Prime version of Nova and Missedit app

GEL Launcher for Moto G

EDIT: Google Now Launcher is official on Google Play! Unfortunately, you need GPE Moto G to get it. Otherwise you can simply download the .APK, it will still work on standard Moto G. According to XDA you need 4.4.2 to actually get it to work though, but maybe it does work on 4.3? I'm not sure. Here it is!

Hi everybody! This is the Google Experience Launcher from nexus devices and i found an APK that works with our Moto G.
I posted this because i read around the 4.4 ota threads and some people didn't like the regular stock launcher and they wanted the google experience launcher instead.
Well, here it is! :good:
Works on KitKat AND Jellybean! Though i'd use it on KitKat so the experience feels better :good:
http://www.androidpolice.com/2013/1...once-you-get-your-kitkat-update-apk-download/
Here is the link! All you need to do is to download it and then just install the APK! Works perfectly on the Moto G.
Also saying "Ok Google" works perfectly.
All credit goes to android police for the APK and Google for the launcher. :good:
An addendum to your post: It will also work on Android 4.3. I used it on my HTC One with CM 10.2 and CM 11 and my Moto G with stock 4.3 and 4.4 and it works perfectly on both versions.

Thanks for uploading this! Interestingly, and sadly, I noticed the dialer doesn't include the KitKat "busines search" feature. This is something I would have used a lot, so I'm sad to see it not included. It's evidently a problem on the MotoX as well, so Motorola must be leaving the feature out of its KitKat builds for whatever reason.
GEL is great, I like how I get to choose how many home screens & choosing widgets/wallpaper the old school way. One thing I do miss is having the perm shortcut to the Google play store visible in the appdrawer

If anyone is interested, the touchless control "hotword" feature does work. I can say "ok google" on home and speak a command. Under Google Settings > Voice, Language must be set as English (US) - English (UK) does not work. The 'Hotword detection' option should be available there.
I habe the problem that the icons are not really sharp when I use the Google experience launcher.
Has anyone the same problem or a solution?

From my understanding that's because it was made for nexus 5 with a bigger screen and better pixel density. Since our screens are smaller, it makes the icons larger and not as sharp.

Anyway to keep the GEL and get the icons smaller and sharper? Kinda ruins it for me .. Although the main reason I wanted this was for the improved dialer.

Regarding icons:
Xposed module - Unicon - Icon packs for all launchers: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aEGy9UZ3I4Y
Confirmed working on Moto G running GEL. As mentioned in the video, only certain themes are compatible. Stark works fine and free theme Black.
There is an article on Forbes.com suggesting GEL will be officially available for all devices at some point in the future:
While the hack to apply GEL to your device is simple, the fact Google keeps updating it to work increasingly smoothly on an ever wider variety of devices indicates it will soon become an official option for all Android handset owners.
Should this happen it will be a key moment for the future of Android. It gives users who want the stock Android experience the option to have it without being forced to buy a Nexus or ‘Google Play Edition’ device yet it should not alienate manufacturers who can still sell their devices with their own skins as differentiators. In fact GEL may even see manufacturers up their game as many third party skins for Android are poorly coded and slow down the user experience. With an option to dump them for a stock Android experience at any moment this tardiness is unlikely to continue for long.

A dpi of "303" seems a good setting. Icons are reduced and app drawer is 6x4.

The only difference is the sound it makes when you activate voice search and the margin width and height between the home screen and the search bar (it's less). The only thing I was waiting for was the new app drawer icon- but I guess that's only with Material, so it's pretty much L exclusive at this point.

I read you'll need to change something in the build.prop to enable material look. It was noted somewhere in the "Android L apps" thread in apps section.
Let me know if you cannot find it. I'll try to locate it and post a link.
Edit: Found it here.
You'll find the build.prop hack on the 1st post. Make sure you read the warning as well.

You can't download/install it from Google Play because you don't have a compatible device. It doesn't work on the 10. You'll have to wait for someone to make a modified version, if that's even possible

HTC U11+ smart display port to U11
I downloaded it from dropbox. But couldn't install. The App is available on apkmirror as HTC Smart display 1.00.1003716. I'm not able add the link. Otherwise I would have added the link to the apk file.

If you're running a U11 this is the wrong section of the forum.
But to answer you question, there's no need to port it to the U11. If on Oreo you can install it from PlayStore. But you won't be able to change any settings, as the submenu in settings will be missing. Further more you'll only have wake up when lifting it up, but no AOD. AOD is implemented kernel-wise into the panel driver and AOD won't work properly with the U11s panel, as it's panel driver doesn't support AOD.
