Another app missing from the Lollipop update is the MHL Launcher. This is the one from 4.4.4 and I've changed the wallpaper to make it look newer. Download the .zip from attachments or MEGA install it via recovery and wipe caches. The next time you connect the USB MHL adapter it should show, or even if you like to make it a dock launcher as I do, download the app from This thread to make it launch at any time you want.Just download the app, the "fix" is not necessary.
Tested on my Z2 (D6503) running Lollipop build 726, but it should work on Z1 and Z3 too.

Well, start by disabling daydream, and download the app from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z1/themes-apps/sony-tv-launcher-time-tv-t2871060
Click on the app when you want to set the TV Launcher. Oh, after installing the app dont bother to "open" it immediately by clicking the open button, it will not work because you need to find it in the xperia home with the other apps.

I have a problem with this launcher home screen, If i run any of the app (eg: temple run) for long time and then quit to home page, the glitch appears for some seconds. I managed to take the screenshot of the glitch, which is shown below, The same glitch will happen if i unlock my phone after 15 min or more..
Please suggest some answers.

Market Helper.
What is this?
Market Helper is a tool for Android that helps users can change/fake their rooted devices to any other devices. It can make your Nexus 7 become Samsung Galaxy S3 in a few seconds. No reboot is required.
Why do I need to use this?
To download and install incompatible apps on your devices. For example, if you want to install Viber on your Nexus 7, switch it to Samsung Galaxy S3 and you’ll can. Or if you changed your DPI setting, you’ll find this app is very useful.
Why is this app awesome?
- It DOES NOT touch your build.prop or any system files so it’s easier and safer.
- You don’t have to reboot the device to update the change.
- You can switch back to your original device anytime, by using “Restore” feature or simply just reboot the device ( with wifi/3g is enabled )
- Totally free

this never did, still doesnt
I don't want to use moto connect. I like the google app that does everything the moto connect app does.
In this process I'd also like to remove all the moto watchfaces.
How does one do this? I don't mind rooting the moto360 if I need to. I'm tired of the notifications I keep getting when I go into the android wear app to download moto connect. And my watch also gets random notifications on the screen to download moto connect.

Bumping back up
This doesn't remove it, but it gets rid of the annoying notifications.
Go to the Android Wear app on your phone
Tap the gear icon in the upper right
Tap Block app notifications
Click the plus at the bottom
Choose Motorola Connect (should have a gear icon)

Here is a little holiday weekend gift for everyone.
Since we don't yet have a built-in custom power menu, here is a 6 way power menu
which can be used to replace the stock built-in power button completely so we can
reboot download mode, recovery mode, power down, soft reboot and screen off
without the need of the usual 3 finger salute. It even looks like it's part of the firmware.
You can add this power menu to your home screens. (this is not a widget)
Here is the download link for it: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24052804347809104
Install it like any other apk... Requires root access.
Here is a screen shot of what it looks like:

The icons works with most 3rd party launchers like Next Launcher 3D,
Nova, ADW, Action, Smart and Go Launcher.
However it will NOT work with the stock touchwiz launcher at all.
Personally I like the Next Launcher 3D the best.
You need to get the "Cobalt Icon Pack from the playstore to get it working.
Here is the direct link for the "Cobalt" icon pack at the playstore in case you
want to check it out: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dustinb.icons.cobalt
Good luck,
Have a great day!
Hi, I have a rooted S20+ and I wanted to hide some apps from the app drawer, since I already have them in my home screen and I see no sense in having two shortcuts to them. Also, this would "clean" the app drawer a bit.
The things is, I can't hide them. If I use the "hide app" option on settings, it will go away from the home scree too. I want a wayto display them in home screen only. Also, even when an app is hidden, it will still appear if you search for its name in the search bar... Some apps I want completely hidden, from app drawer, homescreen and search. While others I want only in homescreen or only in app drawer. Is this possible to do or I will have to use another launcher?
I used to use Lightning Launcher in my previous phone, but I wanted to use Samsung OoneUI native launcher, since it's native, cleaner and easier to edit.
You can't hide app and keep it's shortcut on home screen same time, sry!

You can, but not yet...
I'm working on an xposed module that will allow you to easily do that. I've already implemented mentioned feature to xperia devices >> here << (Features > All Apps).

Samsung's stock launcher is based on the same aosp launcher on which xperia is (com.android.launcher3 - well modified, I gotta say).
Stay tuned (no eta)!
Ok, thanks anyway. I am using the Lightning Launcher again, for now. It's a very good launcher anyway.
