No. Should I? I checked only update software on my mobile and I have no updates.
On Xperia firmware there is nothing like Poland or European firmware version we should w8 patiently. On play career there is nothing about lollipop on z1c only for z3 and z3c. I'm using now RU version of lollipop

'Central Europe' firmware is for Poland but still no update to LP.
You can check your phone's firmware to be sure what firmware you are waiting for.
Type in your dialer: *#*#7378423#*#*
Press 'Call' button'
Then: Service Info -> Software Info
Read 'Customization Version' and you will know for sure what version of firmware you have on your Z1C to check in XperiFirm (you can find this app on XDA forum).
If u ve got unbranded Z1 Compact just download German Custom version. Works perfect for me

Yes it is. I flashed 10j France, the newest non-branded ROM using method 2 from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2625044 and flashing normally like here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2388440

You need to update to 157 with OTA and root stays. But if you update with flastool your need to flash 108 kernel than root and than flash 157 kernel

It doesn't work for my one! Even if i flash it with 108 kernel it stays in 157 kernel !
Specs are : Android version : 4.4.4 / kernel version : 3.4.0-perf-gf96f13d-00901-g5169043 / Build number : 14.4.A.0.157
As in topic is safe to flash only baseband from jb rom. 114 to kk rom. 108 version? I can't find any info about this. I know that we can flash for egz baseband from 157 to 108 kk but this is same ver of android 4.4.4 but what about jb vs kk?

Ok so I flashed jb baseband but... Nothing changed still I have baseband from 108. Phone worked normally
I will try to flash 157 baseband and report if anything will change.

Hmm strange think nothing changed even with baseband from 157...
Maybe it's related to munjeni's rom 108ver i will try another day with stock rom I'm curious if I can use jb baseband in kk rom.
I had galaxy s2 and there was an option to install any baseband on any ver of stock rom

I'm newbie in xperia zone but in sgs2 you could change modem and add a ril by app from market and all works great on every rom. In xperia isn't baseband connect with ril?

Hi, my device has 4.4.2 and i want to upgrade it to 5.0 lollipop oficially, not with twrp or cwm backup, when i check for updates there are none available, is this cuz my phone is rooted or unlocked?

Hi guys. Is it possible to flash the baseband from sony z1 to our z1 compact? The reason for my question is that in xperifirm there is no available download for Philippines in z1 compact but there is one for z1 for the same firmware version? Can it be done?

No! Do not do this. Just download the same ROM for Z1C for another region.
