Greetings ,
I recently bought a new HTC One M8 the 2.5 ghz version with Android 4.4.4 .
I was so excited to update to Android 5 and when I hit check for updates I got a pop up message saying that my phone is up to date and there are no updates.
However I dont have the "system updates" option in the settings. I check for updates using the software updates which is in the
Settings > About > Software updates.
Anyone here knows how to update to official android 5 with stock sense ?
Anyone here with a solution/help?
Thanks in advance.
cheers.

It is indeed the system/rom update rather than the android update. The next update for Android will be 4.4.3 or 4.4.4 or 5. DId you by any chance, noticed on the update about the improvements on the new version ? If so, would you please share them ? Usually you find this information on the system update message.

Hi everyone.
Mi grilfriend just bought an HTC desire 816 dual sim (D816w). It has sense 5.5 with android 4.4.2. The software version is 1.0.0.D816w and the "Software Updates" option is not listed in "About".
Does anybody has an idea of how to upgrade to sense 6? I would apreciate anything.
Is there a System Updates tab above the About tab in your Settings? Inside there you should see HTC Software Update.

Hi I just bought LG G3 (SN : 503 Country Version : SEA) It's software version is V20c-SEA-XX. I heard that there is a new software v20G.
I check it via phone OTA and It said that I am using latest version, after that I check it with "LG Mobile Support Tool" It said there is new software V20G. I started to upgrade but a massage was shown up "Notice on upgrading to Jelly bean to Lollipop, As the OS of the connected mobile phone is Jelly bean,it should be upgraded to Kitkat first before upgrading to lolipop." Isnt it weird ? Jelly bean, Kitkat? I have already Lolipop! I cancelled to upgrade. I gave a change to LG mobile Suite It is said ;
Upgrade is available to the latest software version.
2 upgrades will be performed as scheduled.
Upgrade now ?
Current version: D85520C - NONE
Latest version: V20G - L
Is it ok ? Why did I have these messages. Should I update ? Or postpone it
Nothing seems to be broken
Just got the OTA alert. Build number: LRX21R.A1430824138, Updated it without issues. So far going well. Do you have any idea where can I get the changelog?

Hey folks,
Somehow my 2013 Nexus 7 w/ LTE got skipped on updates. It is still running 4.4.4. This is even after a device reset recently, which I thought may "kick" the update to occur. It is not rooted or running any custom ROMs. So I will just need to do this on my own. I bought the device directly from Google and had it on the Verizon network for the last year or two, if that means anything.
So now I am looking to manually update it to 5.1 and beyond.
1) Will I be able to go directly from 4.4.4 to the most recently 5.1 release (I saw something with a Stagefright fix was recently release by Google), or will I need to go from 4.4.4 to 5.0 to 5.1?
2) Should the directions to install the releases be similar to those I frequently see that explain how to install a new update before Google OTA's it?
Thanks for the assistance!
Umm. .Hi fellas, I have S6 edge plus with baseband version G928AUCU2AB2 which is 5.1.1 and I want to update it officially through FOTA to 6.0.1, I just want to ask you guyz that has AT&T released the update for this baseband version or not? If not when AT&T will officially release the update as whenever I try to update software through Settings > About Device > Software Update, It says that your software is up to date.
