no 4G/LTE option on G3 with 10E (re-open)

Team,
I am reopening it as it seems different than original thread.
I have an LG G3 running 10C (detailed info below in pictures).
However for some reason whatever i do, the 4G/LTE option never comes up in the network selection menu.
(doing it with the temp hack #*855*# etc works (connecting to LTE) but this is not sustainable and getting lost in restart).
Anyone has an idea what is wrong here? (see below pics)

today i just updated it to v10e from v10a and i still have the LTE option, what about a reflash of the rom? have you tried to reset the phone?

what kind of reset are you referring to ?
As for ref lash, I can try, but i could not find a proper guide how to do this. if you have any pointer i will be happy to try.

try to do a factory reset, you can find it in settings>general>backup & reset

I have the same problem. bought the phone with10c and upgraded to 10e. non of them showed LTE.
Any professional solution will be appreciated.

Can u paste here all the hw and sw info?

My phone details are:
HW - LG-D855 32GB
Android Ver 4.4.2
BaseBand Ver - MPSS.DI.2.0.1.c1.13-00009-M8974AAAAANPZM-1
Kernel Ver 3.4.0
Build Num - KVT49L.A1404795316
Software Ver - V10e-EUR-XX

I have downloaded and installed "4G Switcher" from Google Play
and activated LTE (preferred network type - LTE/GSM/WCDMA). it solved the 4G issue. its not the straight forward solution but it works

Any solution??

The only solution that worked for me was rooting and renaming the LTE config app in the system. Otherwise you just have to keep switching it.

have u activate your LTE with your carrier?

Delete LTEconfig from system/app (need root) - i use this method

I had the same phone model which also didn't show LTE option. I solved it by installing KDZ j update. All sweet now. Phone runs great as well.

Reboots on standby.

Whenever I have my Ascend P6 on standby, it will reboot every once in a while. This is very annoying since I have to unlock the thing all the time to get phone calls. I was wondering if any of you guys had a possible fix. Thanks!
Some additional info:
It doesn't happen when I'm listening to music, and it doesn't seem restart when it's not on standby.
Specs:
Android version: 4.4.2
EmotionUI version: 2.3
Tell me if you require more specs.

What is your rom Stock B1xx /B5xx or custom i facing something like it when i was under B510 but don't find any solutions I think it was the wifi for me.

I'm not under Stock but I remember there is an option in the settings "Wifi in standbye" tick "never" if it's still planty .. I don't know it's not an isolated problem maybe other xda members have a solution.
You have upgrade to B512 from which rom ? maybe it's an error during the upgrade and then you can do a factoryreset (it will delete all your data so backup before)
Under Paranoid I don't have this issue

I just found that option, set it to "never" like you said. I'll have to see if that works.
I'm honestly not sure from which rom I upgraded (I'm not very experienced with android phones ). But yeah, I guess I could try a factory reset at some point.

Unfortunately, no.
It requires LG framework.
I have the APK installed on Tab Pro 8.4 and it doesn't work (FC).

I found this the other day and so far it works on every KK ROM I've flashed. Both CM and AOSP.
I looked for the thread I found it in but, didn't find it. If anyone knows where I got this, please let me know so I can give proper credit.
It does NOT work on LLP. I assume there are framework differences causing problems there.
I am most interested in getting my remote to work on LLP...any advice or leads anyone has would be greatly appreciated.
These are flashable zips. I flashed in TWRP but, don't see why flashify wouldn't work as well.

nova 2 plus histen sound effects disabled

hi to all.
I have a big problem. Please help me. i'm crashed
I unlocked my phone because I wanted to install the official version of Android 8. But after unlocking, I noticed that histen sound effects was disabled in the music player and its icon was dimmed.
Now, when I listen to the handsfree, the sound of the broadcast is very low and not acceptable.
Please guide me.

I'm really sorry to be in Huawei. I have the same problem. Someone could fix it. Thank you. Remember it also.

Well i had the same problem and some other problems after unlocking and root the device.
So after many days trying to fix. Nothing worked so i did relock bootloader and installed full stock rom and now all working fine...

Guys.Android 8 is available for nova 2 plus? ? ?

The truth is i dont know... The problem so far is this device dont have any development till now
So... We stick with stock till we have a custum rom or mods

I noticed there's a new software available as of 2019-02-11, still lollipop but what's new?
Did it finally solve the issues with the older ones?
Anyone tried?

Oh well I installed over kitkat and it seems ok for now. There's no lockscreen lag and the battery life is a little bit less than kitkat but I wouldn't say the battery usage is extreme as I heard with older lollipops!!
So until now I like..
Will update if something else comes up..

I got it from sammobile! Downloaded it and installed with odin. The battery life was not that great at first but I bought a new original battery and now the phone stays up for 2 days with mild usage O.O.
There's no lag with the lockscreen what so ever.
So weird how they added a new software in 2019 :laugh:
