Just bought a pair of Sol Republic Shadow Wireless earphones, and I would have never expected that it wouldn't be able to pair to the SmartWatch 3 because it's such a new product. Has anybody run into similar issues? I don't understand what the issue is because it had no trouble pairing with my Logitech UE Boom.
I use a "Mpow Cheetah Bluetooth Sports headphones" and got no problem.
Paired with the SW3 easily and can listen music offline directly from the watch.
Don't know why it wouldn't pair if it's bluetooth headphones.

Does anyone know of a car stereo out there that can connect to the dash as a bluetooth headset and play the music out the speakers?
check this out go to ebay and type in (motorola motorokr t505 bluetooth), i got it from radio shack it was $100us works great on my dash and car radio so you can use your fm on your car radio via your dash music comes out clear and calls, ebay has it for less $40us so i took it back and well be getting it from ebay, dont need to get a new radio just use the one you got in your car,
Sony MEX-BT2500
I picked one of these up at Bestbuy for $100 CDN last year. It was discontinued because of the mic being lousy for phone calls, but since I rarely take calls on the road, I didn't care. It works great with HTC DASH (I have Ricky /Stylez 1.7 ROM loaded) to play music. If you watch for sales sony makes a great car stereo and they are cheap because they are not that popular. At least they are cheap here in the great white north.
Looks like Amazon stil has them for around $130US. It was a complete fluke I got mine for so cheap.
Looks like the Sony MEX-BT2600 is the new one.
It pairs with the dash automatically when you start your car, as long as you have bluetooth enabled before you power up the stereo. As for the house I have 3 Motorola DC800 strategically placed (one on each floor). Got them for $35US on Ebay.
Love my bluetooth music.
Any Bluetooth Car Stereo Will Work
I used my dash on my Bluetooth Portable GPS unit until I installed a bluetooth touchscreen stereo in my car. Any stereo with bluetooth capabilities will work. I use my dash to stream SiriusWM5 into my car stereo speakers. The quality is better on rainy days than if I were to use the portable sirius receiver that I bought. Here's where I got my touchscreen bluetooth stereo:

For $170...it's hard to beat! You will need BTaudio installed on your Dash if you are having difficulties getting it to sync with your stereo as handsfree wireless stereo.
The Motorola H720 and H730 are bluetooth headsets with no earbuds and the speaker is flat against the side. However, they do not have a2dp for music. Is there anything else similar with a2dp?
Start searching for something with two earphones (stereo). I don't know of any mono headset with A2DP.
If you want recommendations, you should give more details about what you want from it and how much you're willing to spend.
Cheers!
no
do not understand
I haven't seen anything like this either. Those business bluetooth headsets intended for phone conversation rather then multimedia streaming, thus everything I have seen so far in that type of bt headsets doesn't support A2DP. If anybody would have it, it would be Plantronics, but they don't offer it. To have full multimedia support you need stereo bluetooth headsets like LG HBS730 or Plantronics BackBeat GO 2 or BlueJays BlueBuds X. Look into my signature link for reviews of a lot of these headphones.
Hello!
I've bought a Moto 360 today and since then, I'm wondering if I'll be able to use simultaneously with my car audio.
Because I'm used to pair my phone with my car and let it play all the music, so, with the watch, I'm wondering if it will work together....
Does anyone know?
Thank you
Yes, I have been through several car radios, and it worked with all of them,
really nice too, I just tell my wrist to tell my phone to play music to my car.
Yup. I have my Jaybird wireless headphones paired at the same time. Great to control my audio from my wrist without having to pull my phone out of my pocket.
I just got a pair of the elite active 65t earbuds. After pairing I get music and can answer the phone from the earbuds. However the phone ringer is not silenced when the earbuds are connected. Same goes for other phone sounds like notifications. They still are played on the phone. On past phones and earbuds when they are paired all phone sounds go to the earbuds. Anybody know if this is fixable? I would like all phone sounds on the earbuds when they are being used.
I have these hadsets, and don't have this problem at all. I would recommend forgetting the devices, re-pairing, installing the jabra app and seeing if it fixes them. check the boxes you have ticked on the bluetooth profile as well when you pair them, might be something off there.
if that doesn't work, reach out to jabra.
I've had mine for a while, love them, paired with my ipad pro and pixel 3 at the same time, no issues like this what so ever.
Hi Guys, anyone have any hints to deal with the garbage bluetooth on this device?
Specifically I have issues using smartwatch type devices. My pebble watches (Pebble OG and Pebble 2 HR) and my fitbit blaze, all struggle to connect, and when they are connected, they disrupt a2dp audio streaming to my headphones and my car stereo... the same watches and audio devices work fine on my pixel 2 xl and are all amazingly reliable and consistent, but connected to this phone the audio is fine, but as soon as I connect a smartwatch the audio goes to ****, and none of my watches will remain consistently connected or reliable.
I also notice the pixel can read the headphone battery data off my headphones, and the sony cannot.
