i was using lg g3 s or beat having firmware lg d725pr it got corrupted i mean the firmware and i didnt backed up my bad luck
i cant find anywhere this firmware on the internet searched each and everything...
i am just left with one choice that is by compiling it from the source given in LGE OPEN SOURCE website......
i just have command over windows other operating system i am NIL...
so i need someone who can compile it for me.........

Didn't know you could do that, I thought maybe you could use any lg g3 s firmware as long as it had compatible baseband, etc.

I tryed to update my F180S with Mobile Support Tool, and it did it. to 4.1.2
But when i inserted a sim card, the baseband, IMEI are all gone... just nothing. I heard if I flash back to Stock 4.0 ROM it will restore....
I searched it in many forums, sites. Tried to flash many ther kdz's but it won't help....
Just anyone who have the original kdz... please share it
i think you forgot flashing your baseband after installing kdz, if yes so baseband link ishere
Unzip the downloaded archive and you will find a batch file named ‘modem-flash’ inside it. Make sure ‘USB Debugging’ is enabled on your phone and your phone is in ‘Charge only’ mode while connected to the PC. Run the ‘modem-flash’ batch file.
Keep an eye on your phone screen as you will need to tap the grant permission button on SuperSU pop-up. If you miss the pop-up as it expires after 10 sec, run ‘modem-flash’ batch file again.
Once the baseband has been flashed successfully, reboot your phone
and if you want to revert back so kdz files are here

Flashing basebands from other version of optimus G is safe just flash back correct one.

nmka0601 is right m8, the topic title says ICS but after installing your phone is android 4.1 and that is for me JELLYBEAN!!!

i am outside USA im using an unlocked AT&T lg optimus g pro e980. (by the way go it yesterday and i love it)
i root it and use sqlitebeditor to enable tether option (this is just to explain the things thing i had done so far)
now i want to know how to install the kit kat update cuz it says that im not registered and then told me to check again in 24 hours.
someone can explain to me how to do this process if i have to install a program called freegee or something?
also i wanna add that my software version is e98010p.

Personally I would recommend radeonmaya's kitkat rom or the HK E988 rom(not really fond of AT&T bloatware). Radeonmaya's rom recently added knock code plus a bunch of themes and other functions. Try out the AT&T rom first though.

yup. It's got some features added that are not on the stock E980 AT&T rom and the HK E988 rom. SLide aside, knock code for unlocking, suggestions for when pluggin on a headphone or a usb cable, more themes. Downside is the speakerphone doesn't work, if that's not a deal breaker then it is worth a try.

can you send me the links of both i cant find it
And wich one has the option of network mode swicth between 3g and 2g and 4g lte?
and wich one has tethering enable?
and better battery life cuz im just getting 15 hours at most... i know its no ok to do this kind of question, but i am a doctor and i dont have much time to download try a that kind of stuff, i want o find a daily driver.

ok thanks but how i install that! i see i have to download a ZIP file of 1.2gb and a fix pacth and flash it but below are .KDZ files what should i do with that?
and it no specify what to do with which model and i have the e980

You really need to read the instructions:
Download the flashable zip, the fix, you also beed madmacks kernel, the edited build prop and a cwm and twrp flashable zips. You factory reset
Then flash the rom, then the kernel, then the build prop file and reboot.

I've seen that lollipop isn't rootable so i have to Downgrade to kitkat and then use PurpleDrake, right?
And after this i have to flash with Flashify a Bumped TWRP?
I've download this file : D85510g_00.kdz. I have to flash this with LG FLASH TOOL 2014 Right?
Wich setting should i have to use with this program?
And..there isn't something like a bootloader to unlock or something?

It is important, to download the right firmware. Here is another site to choose from, hust to make sure its the correct one: http://storagecow.eu/index.php?dir=Xda/LG+G3/Stock/
The correct settings are in the LG Flash tool thread, you don't need do divert from those.

All of them are named like that what you need to pay attention to is the prefix it has, which in your case will be either A6IT or AHIT (surprisingly with a country code at the end), depending on which version of the G3 you have.
The A6IT is for the 16gig variant, downloadable from here, and the AHIT is the 32gig variant, downloadable from here.

Yeah I know the stock software is far from perfect. I used the original vodafone for about an hour, then got fed up with the bloatware, and moved to AndroidNow, which, as of now, runs decent.

DO NOT use the method posted in general thread unless the rooted system is the same version as your current system.
If you have a f500l with 10a a rooted system was linked in the original dev sub forum. I cant try it since I soft bricked using method im recommending you dont use. Ymmv

Yes I got it from Otterbox rep that got it from LG rep. "Worked" great on Cricket aka AT&T. Now stuck at logo or Android is starting.. Since I didnt know not to flash 10w on 10a original. Many of us followed that thread are now soft bricked.

That really sucks! I'm sorry to hear that. I imagine you'll get a solution before the Sprint users. Sprint doesn't believe in KDZs for some reason lol. You'll get one sooner or later.

Yes its a shame. I was having great fun with the G4.
Some users were able to flash H815 10b kdz but lose or have faint signal. So now I opened a thread asking for help backing up my modem(s). Perhaps safer to wait for possible kdz.

I don't have sprint one anymore. But when I did I know the files where all over you could try googling the exact firmware your looking for. Also I can't remember if this applies to a g3 but I know g4 and up at least as well as many other devices now employ anti roll back. I would make sure that's not the case on the g3 as well. Sorry I couldn't help more. Been a while since I used any of the g3s for a daily driver
