MIUI V6

MIUI V6 has been realesed and with kitkat in our phones is it possible to build?

PulseDroid try to port it http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2704905 but no news for the moment

I know!! but it had a lot of bugs!!

MIUI V6 is currently in closed beta and will be public in a few weeks I hope. Looks great I think. But some Chinese guy already said that he will port it when it comes out to the public.

http://www.miui.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=1906777&extra=page=1&page=1 it's on Chinese so use the Google translator. He says that MIUI 6 will come for P6 they will work on that. BTW that is the thread for latest MIUI 5.

You could actually do what i do now. Install B508 than MIUI V5 and a MIUI 6 theme, there are some really good ones

how much time for that? i'm lazy i have no b508 rom and i have to flash the kernel and recovery from original right?

Okay since I dont know on which ROM you are currently I must guess a little bit backup all your stuff first! Important also the stuff from the internal storage!
1. Download stock recovery and boot.img from the TWRP thread.
2. Download B508 from the Chinese Huawei site.
3. Put the update.app from B508 on your sd card.
4. Flash the stock recovery and boot.img.
5. Reboot to recovery with 3 buttons method.
6. After flash complete do a Factory reset with stock recovery because my system partition was to small and this fix that.
7. Install TWRP again and flash MIUI and gapps for KK.
8. You are finish!
One thing to notice that we have problem in the moment that data always turns off. But we are searching for a solution in MIUI thread

i don't know, because cyanogenmod 12 is still project until know and may be only device with high-spec only that can get it first, may be for us...... yaa just wait another month. I guess so

but we still get support from cyanogenmod 11 right? we still can feel how kitkat right? let's hope together cyanogenmod will give our device lollipop

time ago I did some tests and managed to make some system changes from rom Official Miui8 ... and to work some parts of miui8 system. But in all honesty, the differences in the miui8, I did not like! It seemed like a step backwards. very disappointed.

Not MIUI 8, but have you seen this MIUI 7 build ~ [https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=53213]? Very nice, with Xposed and Google Play built in.

Would you be able to give us this gift? I have a leeco 2 max that was stopped at Android 6, after the release of oreo every day a new ROM is released (AICP, AOSIP, AEX, PIXEL EXPERIENCE, LINEAGE) not to mention all the other unofficial ones.

A almost bug less version of Oxygen OS pie has been released by the devs of Redmi Note 4, the link of nandroid backup is given below, it would be great if any dev can make changes to it so that it can be flashed on our device too.

I don't know much about ROM porting, otherwise I would have done it myself. This looks promising, OOS is the smoothest ROM I ever used thats why requesting devs to take up this project.

there's already a port available but its by no means bugless or even close to stable .
