[Q] No IMEI, Please help - G3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Greetings
I bought the device 4 month ago.
One day ( 1 week ago) I lost service, no IMEI #. :crying:
NO ROOT, NOTHING was done with the phone. I upgraded to lolipop (5) 2 month after I got it and it work fine for 2 more months.
Sent the phone to insurance company, the said the will not touch it and the insurance is INVALID because the IMEI is not presented.
I have the original box with the original IMEI.
Is there ANY way recreating it? I DO NOT HAVE ANY BACKUP...
I read on lots of posts that you need the original files of the EFS folder. Is there any way getting those files, EDITING THEM for my device and restoring that folder?
Please help...

This is what I did to fix my Verizon LG G3, but it should work for any variation.

Call and speak with a supervisor. I'm assuming you have proof you bought it. Why is it your fault that the phone memory got corrupt?

jobella, I did speak with a supervisor, they directed me to a section where it states "If IMEI got deleted or corrupted, insures is invalid", got figure, next time i will not buy a deceive with such insurance terms...
Do you think contacting LG could help? is there any specific form to fill on there website or email for those issues?
iBolski I will get the phone in a day and try that, thanks. will update

Not my day i'm guessing...
Updates:
Rooted the device with no problem (thought if warranty is invalid to hell with it..)
BUT QPST shows Phone Unknows, No ESN, Phone number is empty, Banner Unknown...
Deveice is in MTP mode. PTP not working
every try to see Software Info crushes the settings app.
No baseband V , no WiFi MAC, no Bluetooth, software version: V20h
Could it be a break?
Here is a prtscr

[Q] HELP?

I am new to this, I also first off want to apologize for this probably not being posted in the correct area. Here is my problem. I HAD Sprint. They sucked. Dropped calls, no service, definitely no 4G that they conned me into a contract with. Long story short, after a 4 month battle, they dropped my contract, no ETFs on either line. Bills all paid up, no debt. Now I have 2 Samsung Epic Touch 4g phones that I want to use elsewhere. My issue is that now that I am free and clear of Sprint, they REFUSE to give me an MSL. They have given me a long list of reasons why I cannot have my MSLs. I have rooted my phone, tried the getprop ril.MSL method (without the swype keyboard before someone asks). Nothing, it just skips down to a new command line with no data. logcat doesn't work, get my msl doesn't work. CMDA workshop doesn't work.. I'm at a loss. My wife was able to have her phone flashed to revol, but she can't send/receive picture messages with revol flashed. I am stuck using an old clearance rack galaxy something or other because I'm at a stand still with my phone. Is there a way to completely remove the Sprint software from the phone and install some sort of open source phone software? I'm obviously new to this, my typical work is computers not phones and my last smart phone prior to this was a t-mobile shadow (YEARS ago). Someone please help me figure this out. Once I get some initial help I'm sure I'll get the gist of it and be good to go. I'm just getting absolutely nowhere with anything that I have read in any forum.
I haven't needed it in a long time. But there is an mal fix by tdunham. I am on break right now. So I cannot Google it. But if you Google with the keywords tdunham msl fix you will find it.

Can't access my device after Factory Reset in Samsung Galaxy J2.

Hello folks,
i have Samsung Galaxy J2; its a year old. Yesterday, my device got stuck and after restarting the device, it failed to open up normally. So i did a factory reset ! But it took me to Wi-Fi Connection setup and enter gmail id.
As i remember this phone belonged to my father, when he purchased, the shop keeper must have made a gmail id for him and entered like so.
But now, as i enter my gmail id , it refuses to accept my gmail id, my father can't remember his gmail id.
Also my phone is running Android OS 5.1 or higher and it must have had Android Factory Reset Protection (FRP) turned on.
This feature allows you to set up your device to prevent other people from using it if it's been reset to factory settings without your permission. For example, if your device is lost, stolen, flashed, or wiped, only someone with your Google account or screen lock information can perform a factory data reset and use the device.

Click to collapse
I don't know if there is another way to access my device. Or to flash it with different ROM.
I found a similar thread with the same problem but its almost 2 yrs old.

My mobile spec:
Samsung Galaxy J2 runs Android 5.1

Is there a fix yet for this problem. I will waste a perfectly good amount of money if i don't fix it.
Awaiting some solution.
I just remembered where i had kept my gmail id. Did a little searching and found and my device opened up.
Every thing is working properly now.

Wondering why my SM-T807T lost it's data connection for a week.

This is odd story. Sorry it's so long.
I have a Galaxy Tab S (SM-T807T) that recently lost the T-Mobile 4G connection. The tablet had been rooted (Stock 5.0.2) for a couple of weeks prior and was working fine. It just went away all of a sudden. The sim card works in another tablet but another sim will not allow a data connection. There are full bars that move as the tablet moves. WIFI, Bluetooth, everything else runs fine. I re-flashed the stock ROM but that didn't change the status.
I called T-Mobile and verified the card was provisioned correctly. I then called Samsung and their response was to just send it in. I was hoping to learn more as it is a month out of warranty. I took it to a local repair shop and they said the sim card holder was faulty, and there was not a replacement available. I searched online and could not find one with the same part number as the one in the tablet. (See pictures below)
So I purchased another beat up SM-T807T so I could scavenge the sim card reader flex cable and put it in the newer tablet. My sim card has worked fine in this new tablet the past few days.
And just now, I put the sim back in the original tablet to verify some info after reading some posts here and before posting this, and the connection was back. I took the sim out and put it back in, rebooted a couple of times and it seems to be back to normal.
Does anyone have any ideas on this? Don't get me wrong, I glad it's working again and I now have an additional beater tablet to use out in the field. I am just really curious. I was afraid the rooting/flashing had something to do with it.
Thanks for your help,
Don
This is what is in the tablet now.

Lacking of mobile networking after unsuccessful a firmware rollback

Hey everyone. I've faced with a problem I can't cope by myself. Once upon a time I found out despite the renewal was turned off on my phone that my phone was updated to MIUI 11. I didn't like it so much. It had buggs, terrible design and devoured phones charge like a fish. I lost my nerve and made rollback. so, I lost everything that makes a phone different from a brick with lights. After that I decided to read about ) but It was too late. So, I lost all of system settings due to antirollback policies. What about backup? certainly I hadn't made it. I had one on google drive but It didn't give it to download.
I found some efs files and managed to recover system settings such as wifi, imei, modem, almost everything except the mobile network and the internet. the engineering menu shows the efs is unknown.
It means the efs I recovered my phone isn't suitable for my phone version or I need radio.img in addition to, doesn't it?
I'm going to try input SN number via a special utility into the phone. I don't expect anything from this step, but...
I suppose I need some with radio band settings or something from it. Or I need to find the new EFS files, don't I? I remember the file I'm restoring the phone was the ancient fossil of 2016.
how much does it cost to buy up-to-date EFS? Where could I find them? Where should I look for?
