Hi
I have read through the immense LCD Replacement Thread and it seems that there are two versions according to this:

}
.
I was considering purchasing the one from vifocal which seems to be version A - but apparently fits any version of OPO. Can this be correct?
Also, does anyone know of a way to check which LCD panel version without disassembling the phone?
the oneplus one lcd screen already won't have A or B version yet,some of the old oneplus one lcd screen may like the left pictures,now all original oneplus one lcd screen is is on the right version

Hi, I've had a misfortunate experience this morning: my Desire fell down and now the touchscreen is unresponsive although the AMOLED screen is still intact. The front layer of Gorilla glass screen is also intact, so only the second layer along with the digitizer layer broke.
Anyway, I teared it all apart and now I'm looking to buy a new digitizer. Here's a photo of a chip of my original digitizer:

"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
And here's the photo of a digitizer I plan to buy:
Please help me decide if the digitizer I want to buy will suite my AMOLED Desire.
As you can see the main difference is that the original digitizer has "E6" written in the white squre while the new digitizer has "E4" written in the place. Is it already too much of a difference for it to suite my phone?
Best regards
Afaik you can change digitizer as you want. It is the screen that can't be changed - you can't put amoled screen in slcd device and vice versa.

Second opinion? Anyone pls?
my son borken my opo one lcd screen and i have to buy a new lcd screen for a replacement.first i won't know the lcd screen has different quality and in order to save 5-7usd i bought from a site.After 2 weeks the Display arrived well pachaged but without any kind of protection on screen. Capacitive buttons work but there is no light from them so i have to guess were to press back, home or recent tasks.
So if your opo lcd screen was broken too ,please make sure the lights is ok before you buy it..Of course there are a lot of site has write in their description and promis with the softkey illumination light.if write this it will 100% be ok.no like mine lcd screen.

Thank you for your sharing! It will be more helpful!
I bought my replacement digitizer and screen from Vifocal on AliExpress: http://www.aliexpress.com/item/New-100-Original-LCD-Display-Screen-Touch-Screen-Assembly-Replacement-for-Oneplus-One-64GB-16GB-Smart/2039112357.html
It took 4 weeks to arrive by post, nicely packaged with a toolkit (but no adhesive strips or glue) and has the three tabs for the capacitive buttons - I haven't fitted it yet.
Hi!

Why is this in the OPO forum? It needs to be in the OP2 one...

But how would we know? It's not out yet, and we don't own the phone yet so we won't have any idea about which case is good. Having said that, I personally always go for official cases so I imagine that would be my choice should I get the OP2
Best protector
I got the tempered glass from Ultimate Shield. Very impressed. It has the cutout only for the home button and speaker. The speaker cutout goes only around the speaker and is not wide to include the sensor like all the rest. Have not encountered any issues with the sensor. Also cannot tell there is a protector on there. Great design.

Hi everyone,
The blue streaks have actually been there a few weeks now, but the red one just appeared. Can something like this be fixed; aside from lcd replacement?
Thank you

Okay perhaps not backlight bleed, more like stuck pixels. I've run the various stuck pixel tools for a couple days now, to no avail. Guess I just have to put up with it. Cheapest replacement lcd I've found is $40.
Has no one else experienced this with their Nexus 7?
Nope, looks like a damaged lcd. I expect there has been pressure applied to it or something. My best bet is that you cannot fit this with any software.

Yeah that appears to be the case. Well it's def out of warranty, guess I'll just nurse it along till the Nexus 7 2016 (assuming it actually is) comes out.
Hello everyone!
So the top 3/4" of my HTC 10 stopped working about 4 months into owning the phone. I tried getting HTC to replace/repair my device, but I forgot to reset it to stock before I sent it in and they decided my warranty was now void and the logic board replacement would run me $350+. I've been using the device for over a year now by using gestures as a workaround.

I had been researching ways to change the positioning of the screen down so I could use it more or less as normal.
I came across the overscan command in ADB. I shifted the screen down to 0,300,0,0 and to my surprise the screen did the exact same thing as it was before I added the margin, just lower down the LCD.
With this I figure the problem must be a software issue instead of a hardware issue as HTC originally implied.
I am currently running ResurrectionRemix 5.8.3 although I have tried several roms and they all produce the same problem.
Is there a way to adjust the digitizers margins so that my touch will line up correctly?
It may be worth noting that when I touch the "dead" area, it does register the touch just under where I'm actually pressing.
Any and all help will be very appreciated.
