i know you guys may think it looks like MIUI , but i assure you it's totally different ROM nor MIUI-based modification , and if you have time , please read first pages of all these kind people's reports and feelings about this ROM.
what i think is , every and any ROM is like child to all of us in Android community , and please don't think it is bad or ugly or whatever negative expression you can think of , because nothing is perfect , as MIUI , it is now 71 weeks old , and this one is only 3 weeks old, and for now , MIUI 4.0 does have problems and bugs as well as this one, it has some problems or bugs, but that's how all ROM start, right ?
we are just like bunch of daddies (mommies) here , to help developer to raise (improve) thier child (ROM) , they need you help and report!

DX ROM introduction translated as requested (this translation almost got me killed -_-!!! be honest , i don't know what i am saying now...)
点心 (Dian Xin) in chinese, when put these 2 words together it means small food like cake or snack , in this case related with Android (cupcake, donut, eclair, froyo, gingerbread, honeycomb and ice cream sandwich), but , when separates them , the first word means "target" or "aim" , and second means "heart"

1. solved the problem of folders can not be renamed
2. fix the bug in some certain situation, calls dial-in but can not unlock screen.
3. optimize lockscreen process logic, extend stand-by time
4. add un-answered calls count in lockscreen.
may or may not fix the OTA update always report failed.

Yep, based on AOSP.
BTW, the rom is english and chinese, but there's still a fair number of translations to be made for english. I can take a crack at some using google translator, but I'm not really sure it will be worth it.
For those that are interested in the look of DianXin, but don't want the chinese, the DX-Home.apk is compatible with AOKP, and I'm sure any other ICS-based rom, as well as some of the widgets and other apps. If there is any interest, I can create a zip to flash over your favorite ICS rom to give you the look and feel of DianXin.
Anyways, let me know what you guys think. Ported this mostlly just to see if I could lol.

Wow this is definitely different . A lot of the extended settings are in Chinese and the clock/weather widget says I'm in china (explained in op) market doesn't work you have to go into terminal emulator and....

Terminal emulator not included so back up the apk to SD or get it off Google
This is fresh and new I'm excited to see where this ends up!

Yeah GSM works...you have to the adb stuff as mentioned in the General Section!

GSM is not working, even if you can have signal with *#*#4636#*#* but no data because ROM doesn t has a GSM menu.

i've install this rom,
but i don't know why google playstore always "No Connection" both in wifi and mobile connection.
try to browsing through default browser everything is fine. opening any site is good as heaven.
but still no luck for playstore
overall this rom is smooth, scroll effect is cool

fix after reinstall gapps 4.2

Review
previously i'm using CM10.1, then install this rom.
boot recovery, clear dalvik, cache, battery then install this rom.
after that, i install gapps 4.2.
no need to reset data at all, and everything is working.
bluetooth, call setting, wifi, gps is fine.
still didn't understant what is Halo and Pie used for.

Cool! The one thing I missed from my Wimmobile days is that I can switch between apps quickly by pressing the icons on the notification bar(Taskbar?). As shown on below page. Strange that nobody had done that on android. This is the next best thing!

Some suggestion/issue:
1. Can you make small apps to have transparent background always? After you select one of the task, the small app background stay opaque until you tap the running application.
2. Is it possible to have button to minimise the small app into floating small icons? (similar to selecting minimise from the notification windows)
3. I don't know whether this is by design, but when you open up the phone application and then touch back button, it will remove it from the small app. If you open up the task swithcer however, it will still listed phone app as the most recent one.
PS: Love your mod for Xperia Ray (I still used your system ui mod for ray) :good:

1. Well if i can override the theme of sony small app built in theme it should be possible.
2. It is possible but it will take a space if i put it just like that into the header. Unless i make it as horizontal list (which need some time to try).
3. Yes it was my intention to remove all closed app from the menu. In the stock Android setting, the Recent Apps will always store the closed application, so the next time you open it, it will not move the existing task to the front, but start a new activity for it. What i did was to remove all the closed apps, so to reduce the recent apps number there. But that's a good suggestion, i might add an option to fix that.

Ps: the UI in fact can be docked to the edge of your screen as i found out. Just double tap the move button and then drag it into the near edge of the screen, preferably at the right
Edit: It is recommended to turn on showing running apps. There are some undetected bugs with some Google apps of you leave it unchecked. Will inspect later. In the mean time stay with showing Running Apps only.

Im not sure. I tried blocking through phone dialer..settings message and call block but didnt work, calls and messages of blocked numbers still came through

The rom is very stable. I can send/receive text messages and calls. Unlike Aurora, my screen doesn't turn red in chrome. It's snappy, clean, and a joy to use. So far, so good. I will daily drive this
