Quickpick Shows only one folder

Hi,
I am on cm10 now quickpick Shows only one folder in the browser view. Has anybody an idea.

If you have excluded any folders, clear the list for folders to exclude. If everything was on your external SD and it is an exFAT formatted card, it won't be recognized.

I got problem of Qucikpic too that takes a long time to load all the photo folders (sometime only load one or two folders). I did clear data, caches, remove it, and install it again with no help.
For the time being, I can only use stock one "Gallery" and "Just pictures", but they are not as good as Quickpic.
I m on Omega V11.

On my Cm10, latest nightly, quickpic works same as always (perfect, fast, ++)
I have it set up to only scan certain folders though..This is my setup, and it is instant :
I guess you can try to clear all quickpic data, start up, and add a few folders only to scan. If that doesn't work, then I guess you're outta luck mate..

Facebook bug?? Or A5.1 or settings? Can anyone confirm?

I have this weird bug in Facebook that i cannot figure out if it's related to the ROM or some settings??
These pictures are from exactly the same chat but on 2 different phones, both running LP 5.1
The first is from my P8000, where you can see the "camera" icon for sending or taking pictures is missing!
The second one is from my Xperia Z3 and there the icon shows correcly.

Can anyone confirm if you also have this problem? Is it related to the ROM
or did i just miss some settings on the P8000?
Thankful for any solutions or tips!

What ROM version are you using? 07/25 has external camera issues.

Always the latest
20150909, but had the same issue with all 3 public releases..
Can anyone else on any of the public ROM's just test this to confirm if they have the same issue?
P.S. This is via web browser (tested 3 different) but tested the messenger as well with the same result.

thats related to some missing libs for camera in elephone roms...
hope they will fix that soon

Thanks for confirming Skeleton, this gave me some grey hairs for a couple of hours going through all settings in the phone... Nothing to do but wait in other words...

And suddenly, whithout getting any OTA or doing any manual updating, it works!!??!
The only thing that might have changed things on my P8000 is that i installed and tested the apps Snapseed and OpenSignal (plus maybe updated an app or two)...
Now im curious about what made it work again

Haha. Nice!
Could be related to a facebook update.. Facebook apk has libs too (in data/app)
Maybe now they can be read by the system without a bug... I dont know

Except for the fact that i dont have any Facebook Apps on my cellphone (would never install that crap on any phone!)
That's why i was soo surprised it suddenly started to work, as i only use Facebook via the Webbrowser (Chrome & Dolphin)

i have no problem with facebook using the facebook apps and within chrome.
both ways i can use the camera.
i am using eragon v3.0

Daydream on the Z5 Premium with Nougat

Anyone know if we'll be able to use Daydream on the Z5P once it's upgraded to Nougat?

It's working for me.
You have to press got it while the screen is black when the incompatible phone message appears.
Aswell as the Daydream APK don't forget you need Google VR Services.

I have, but it kicks me back to the download VR apps screen. I really wanted to use the remote with it also

That happens to me also. You have to press "got it" on the screen within about 2 seconds.

That happened to me as well but I accidentally discovered a trick: when you get the "incompatible phone" message don't press "got it". Instead, press the menu/multitasking button, go back to the app and then press "got it". It worked for me and the app stays open. Unfortunately, I do not have a controller to connect neither a second smartphone to use an emulator: https://developers.google.com/vr/daydream/controller-emulator.
Try it out and let me know as I am curious of compatibility after a controller is connected.
If needed:
app version: 1.2.170117003 (search google daydream apk )
Google VR Services version: 1.1.141111507

Firestick find no network

i have a newer Firestick installed root, xposed and some Apps such as Kodi... a while it work fine without issue. Wifi is connected to my Network
Today i would look a Stream and i get messahe, no network found... found nothing, not my own or a another network. Networksearch are empty see attached picture (normally it display 7-8 Wifinetwork)
what can i do to get my connection back? Any Idea? this is the second time how i have this, last i do a factory reset. But this lost all Apps and Settings... Amy idea how i can do that without Factoryreset??

Never seen that error profile before.
Although the Fire TV (Stick) is notorious for dropping WIFI connections, or not connecting to 5GHz channels (the solution there is to set your router to communicate on the first few channels in the 5GHz band and avoid the ones on the higher part of the spectrum), it usually at least shows the SSIDs of the routers around you - and just drops the connection.
If there are many other WLAN networks around you, that also arent showing up (= its not a router issue), Id recommend maybe trying a second FIre TV Stick an seeing if it has the same issues... Sad to say...

my other Firestick works fine and had never this issue before run without any issue and have no Problem with my Network

I've no idea how this could be solved. I don't know if it even could be solved by a factory reset (- usually no user setable or easy to mess up "configuration file" should prevent any Android device from scanning wifi networks...). Could be a HW issue...
But maybe another user on XDA has a solution in their back pocket. Wait a while before you reset the device. All I can say at this point is, that I have never seen an issue like this come up in connection with the FireTV or the FIre TV Stick.
(If you are on a low enough Firmware, and factory reset doesn't solve it eventually - you could try the Kingoroot for Windows route (the replace Kingroot/Kingoroot with SuperSU thread has all the information on that), as that software seems to scan, fingerprint and (if needed) replace files in the system partition that could be considered corrupted. See this as a last ditch effort.)
edit: Also do a logcat ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1726238 ) and look at the logs, maybe you see something there that indicates what happens.

It happens to me from time to time, I just clean cache and reboot, voila!

I had previously installed an app, L-speed aims to rise entropy making it more fluent among other goodies like cleaning cache, dalvik, etc...

VR- problem with gyroscope

So i bought a cheap vr headset. I couldnt look around in any app or video. After long investingation, one thread suggested yo see use app, called "wireless IMU". And it shows 0 0 0 next to gyroscope. But in spesifications it shows that this phone has a gyroscope. So after even more surfing through internet, i gave up and came to the most inteligent people on the web. Can anyone help me?

I've only tried with Google Cardboard and it worked just fine. You tried with that?

No, i havent, but it shouldn't mean it wouldn't work. It doesn't have the magnetic button, but head tracking should work. And no app show, that gyroscope is working, even thought i can tilt the device and it shows side ways ;_; im out of ideas at this point

Last resort is always a factory reset or reflash the factory image.

Even after a factory reset and factory image reflashed, it still doesnt show anything... And the thing is, all forums (usually 6p) say the devices doesnt tilt, but mine does...
