[Quickfix] 5.0 No signal/wifi bug - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-T989

I might have stumbled upon a more stable fix for the no signal bug in the 5.0 roms
(Currently its solved by turning the wifi on and waiting and turning it off again to get signal)
To fix:
Go to Settings -> Mobile Networks -> Change Preferred network type to LTE
Go To choose Network operators then [Search Automatically]
I tried it on sultans CM 12.0 seems to be working for me

D855 Rom AICP 10 release ver. Issues

I have installed AICP Rom on my D855 and have found the following issues. Anyone else notice this if so how can I fix it.
- does not save my WiFi connections, has no option to save connection either Its annoying putting the password in all the time
- My signal strength is terrible. I can get service in my house anymore. Happened straight after changing ROM.
I am running stable release version on AICP 10.0 has this been fixed in any nightlies?
Should I use a different ROM. Tell me if you have had the same experience.

CM13 - Signal loss in LTE

Hello,
I have an Oppo Find 7a with CM13. In my home i have 50/75% signal and it goes down to 25% or even 0 during calls. Also, people said they got "busy" when they called me, although I wasn't speaking with anyone at that time. On the streets I usually have signal but during calls it goes down to 50%, causing distortions.
This signal problem appeared 1 week ago, when i upgraded from CM12.
The problem is only in LTE/GSM auto (PRL) (default) mode. In GSM only it works perfectly, but the internet is 3G. Also on each phone restart it gets back to LTE/GSM auto (PRL)
I already changed a few CM13 versions and did clean install, reinstall TWRP and SuperSU.
Please help me fix it. If possible, give me some details or send me to specific guides.
Here are the phone details:
TWRP version: 2.8.4.0
SuperSU: 2.65-20151226141550
Androidversion: 6.0.1
cm-13.0-20160304-NIGHTLY now, I have tried 0302 and 0228 as well.
CyanogenMod API level: Elderberry (5)
Baseband version: .4.0.1.c7-00004-M8974AAAAANAZM-1
Kernel version: 3.4.110-cyanogenmod-g229aab7
Build number: cm_find7-userdebug 6.0.1 MMB29U 8fa5a5536e test-keys
The operator, Vodafone, has only 3G voice services; LTE is for internet only.
Signal strenght right now:
GSM only: -79 dBm 17 asu
LTE/GSM auto (PRL): -109 dBm 31 asu

Separate network settings for Sim1 & Sim2 on OOS....Just like CM 14.1

I keep facing the issue of network disconnection on every OOS based rom. However I've noticed whenever I am on RR Remix or CM14 and chose separate network settings for both Sim cards, it works fine.
So can anyone help me to chose separate settings for each sim card on OOS Roms.

OP3 Mobile Data on Custom ROM/Kernel

Disclaimer:
I did my research before posting here, tried I believe every suggestion and "fix", so please don't throw links at me with the ones I already tried.
Thank you.
The Issue:
I DON'T get LTE after manually disconnecting or leaving Wi-Fi area (Sometimes it works, so the APN settings are correct; to regain connection I need to toggle Airplane mode or Reboot) on Custom ROMs and Kernels. This includes: Stock Beta16 + ElementalX/Franko kernels; ExperienceOS + Stock/ElementaX/bluespark kernels; FreedomOS + Stock/ElementaX/bluespark kernels.
It DOES WORK on Stock Beta16 and Beta17 just fine.
I use the same APN setting in all cases, which included VoLTE on; APN protocol and APN roaming protocol IPv4/IPv6; Aggressive Wi-Fi to Cellular handover; Cellular data always active. (Some of them are the suggestions and "fixes" I found on the Interwebs)
Any ideas how Stock-based custom Roms and kernels can brake my LTE connection? The carrier is EE UK. SIM also works fine on my Nexus 6P running Vanilla OS with Flash kernel and Root.

Preferred Network Type

Hello.
I have Redmi Note 9 Pro (Joyeuse) with MIUI QJZEUXM 12.0.2 stable.
I have changed the prefered network type to the correct setting for my network - LTE/UMTS (auto) via *#*#4636#*#*
But it always reverts back to LTE/WCDMA ... which seems to be the default if you choose LTE via the regular settings menu.
How can I make my change permanent ?
Many thanks
on MIUI I have the same problem. but on custom ROM it will work with 4636 until you reboot the phone.

Yes, I know, but I do not want to change to a custom ROM until Xiaomi stops updates - which will probably be soon
Many thanks for your reply.
