Can moto 360 work as phone? - Moto 360

Can you answer calls on watch? Then here the person on the other end. Just like a regular phone call.

You can answer a call, but you still have to speak and listen on your phone.

Or a headset. [emoji6] You can use a dialler on the watch to initiate calls as well.

When you phone rings or receive messages, does the watch play the phones ring tone or plays its own?

The watch does not have a speaker. When your phone rings, you have the option to answer or decline on the watch, then use your phone (or earphones) to take the call.

Theres a multicolor widget on TW4 that has 3 buttons on one of the screens. They relate to Text to speach while driving, sounds like one of them is on. Hope this helps
It's the driving mode, should be the car icon. Make sure it's off.

If you open Voice Talk, you can uncheck Driving Mode, that will turn off the voice for new notifications.
Lol this happened to me to when I first got this phone.

Even if car mode is off, and "driving mode" is still on in Voice Talk, you will still hear the Siri-esque voice. You have to disable "Driving Mode" from within "Voice Talk" to get her to shut up.
BTW, you can change what she greets you with when you say "Hi Galaxy" in the program settings. Mine says, "What the hell do you want now, John"
It's the rom that your using. The voice is Linda I think.

That's one thing I thought it sounded like. I stripped some of the Linda sounds from my Vibrant and brought them over to my GS2. I missed them.
I can't stand that voice and all of the texts and plug in sounds. Talk about wanting attention... Lol

Vibrate when call connects

Is there a way to get the phone to vibrate when dialed number connects.
Right now it plays a tune, so it knows its connected, however can that be tied to vibrate as well?
My old phone did this, and its great to not have to hold the phone to your ear if the connection takes a long time to get through.
if you flash the cm7 Rom it has that option. i dont think any of the others do though.
I use Go Contacts, which comes with Go Dialer , and it has that option ...
Stock dialer does this, settings, call, call alert, answer vibration

but when i get a call and i answer it the phone will say to accept the call press 1 to send to voice mail press 2...
can i turn this "feature" off?
dont really like having to pull up the dial pad every time i get a call.
Sounds like you are recieving a Google Voice call.
is that what it is
i thought maybe it was. i guess thats when it started happening. i logged off google voice and it still does it.
Yep google voice call. You need to disable call screening in the settings of the browser site.

Help with a bad ass sgs3 feature

After seeing the sgs3 Verizon commercials showing off voice command in some apps, I figured I'd try it on my sprint sgs3 and it works flawlessly....for the most part...when I receive a call, I keep saying "answer" or "reject" to the point where I'm yelling at the phone, and still no response. The other voice commands work fine, but I want the phone voice command functions to work. For those of you that don't know what I'm talking about, go to settings--language and keyboard---voice cmd. Attached is a screenshot of my settings within that menu

And I know the picture shows otherwise, but my settings are in fact turned on! Just thought I'd clear that up
Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
I did the same thing. but figured it out. Go to language and input and press on voice cmd and check the incoming calls box.
Edit
Oops never mind.. try restarting your phone
Does my screen need to be unlocked when I get a call to use this feature? My screen is looked and whenever I get a call, with commands to accept or reject the call don't work...kinda mad I wanna be cool and show it off to people lol

You need to turn off vibrate for incoming calls for answer/reject voice commands to work.
Was driving me crazy trying to figure this out until someone mentioned it on another thread. But I'm surprised Samsung doesn't have proper instructions explaining this. Anyways...

Thanks man, I'll disable the vibration. Don't even know why vibration matters.
Also how do I disable it? Do I uncheck sound and vibration or do I turn the vibration intensity for phone calls all the way down?

Does vibration need to be turned off for the clock command to work?

Yes. Just uncheck sound and vibration. The 'vibration off' matters because it gets in the way of hearing your voice. Makes perfect sense. And no, the vibration doesn't need to be turned off for the snooze command.

So even if I leave vibration intensity for phone calls all the way up, unchecking sound and vibration will make my voice command work? Just wanna clear it up. And thanks for your help too, I appreciate it

Yeah, you can have your vibration intensity all the way up, just as long as its not active for incoming calls, by unchecking sound and vibration. This is only needed if you want to use the voice cmd to verbally answer and reject incoming calls. All other voice commands are independent of the vibration settings.

The vibration matters because people will half their phone on a flat surface half the time and it will make a loud buzz sound which will disrupt it from picking up your voice saying reject or answer.

google hangout won't hangup

If I hangup a hangout video call, the person in the other end can still hear my audio and as long as they don't hangup they can continue to listen in. It works the same way in reverse, I can listen in as long as I don't hangup.
2- Samsung gallaxys, one s3 and one s4. not rooted.
Not Cool.
Shouldn't hangout disconnect everything when one party hangs up?

Same here. Even worse, it answers and I can't see or talk to the person on the other end.
