hi
i rooted my device and flashed lg g pro-G3 rom on my lg g pro, then an update of that rom came and i installed that new updated rom...but in doing so my device got unrooted and that new rom was buggy so i decided to again install that older version of rom. For this i had to root my device so i tried to root in again but my device was not opening in MTP mode , so i thought my MTP manager was not working so i installed lg g2's MTP manager files . then i rebooted my device and now it shows boot animation but do not turn on .....again and again it shows boot animation...nothing else.. please help....
Hello everyone. I'm writing to you to ask if anyone knows a way to mod a kernel (also custom) for LG G3 D855 that allows to change the original LG Boot Logo Screen. I'm asking because I've tried to change this screen with no success. Can anyone help me? I would like to boot up my phone with the Nexus Boot Screen image.
Greetings.
Nicola.
PS: I'm sorry if there are any grammatical errors but English is not my mother tongue.

Have you tried an app such as "Boot Animations * Root" by JRummy Apps Inc.?
As long as you grant this app root access you should be able to modify the boot imagine. You can select one of the ones available on the app (They more than likely have Nexus on there) or make your own.
Changing the boot animation won't change the boot image in the LG firmware.
Hello, so I rooted my phone everything was fine, then I wanted to install custom recovery. Installed flashify and pressed boot img and installed twrp-2.8.7.0-h815 and now its stuck on
Code:
Secure booting Error!
Error Code : 1002
That's it I can go to download mode nothing else please help!!!
I had similar issue with my G2 but after lots of messing around I was able to restore it. Try this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/general/guide-lg-g4-stock-firmware-to-stock-kdz-t3107848
Sent from LG G Pad 8.3
I don't know where to start. So I changed the resolution of my LG G3 F400L to 1080p via terminal. then I reboot it. The LG boot logo appear, after waiting for a while the logo won't go anywhere. the boot sound can be heard also when I touch the screen I can hear unlocking sound and touch feedback which means my device is working properly JUST the LG bootlogo covers up everything just like a curtain.
Another thing is, I tried to boot it to recovery to restore my firmware but it just won't work. My device has TWRP flashed by AutoRec. I used every button combination and tried like 100 times each that I found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/help/f400l-recovery-t2960352 but the device won't boot to recovery. It just boots normally and stuck on LG bootlogo as I mentioned above.
Running to a dead end. I put my device to download mode (which the only mode that I'm able to do) to flash my device back to stock ROM using LG Flash Tool. After a few processes it stucks at S\W Upgrade part saying "Upgrade stopped due to an error". Just so you know I have the latest driver installed.
The stress and frustration really makes me want to bump my head to death. Any help and solution IS GREATLY APPRECIATED!
Please Help me.
Hello!
I'm quite new to the android rooting scene, so I encountered this problem on my LG G Pad 8.3 (v500)
I had installed Lineage OS with android 7 (can't remember exact version) and tried to root the device
I tried flashing SuperSU.zip with TWRP, but it failed, and now, when I boot, it shows me this:
--------------------------------
Secure booting Error!
Cause : boot certification verify

I tried getting into download mode, recovery mode, adb, flashing stock rom, but none worked. They all lead to the same error. Best result I could get was with download mode: the lg logo for a few secs, and then a black screen
Is there anything I can do to unbrick my device?
we are two with the same problem
