Having exactly the same problem although my Tab does not reboot but turns black (not 100% black, a very dim backlight still active). Doesn't do anything until I force shutdown by holding the power button.
Currently on nightly 21/04 CM 12.1 using Nova Launcher. But happened with 18/04 aswell.
Also tried RedKernel to fix the problem --> no change.
The gapps that I'm using actually replaces the stock launcher with Google's launcher. Maybe that is why I'm not having problems with the black screen anymore. I had the black screen also when I first installed 12.1 after a factory reset. The problem seems fixed now that the stock cm launcher is replaced with Google's launcher.
Does the rear/main camera finaly work with canogenmod?
Depends on which camera module you have.
problems with the firmware
I have constantly reboots plate during charging, and as you can not edit the name or avatar if not before that create what some other contact.
installation steps:
stock rom 4.2.2 -> cm 12.0 -> cm 12.1
used CWM recovery

You can edit the avatar from within the contacts application.
I would suggest a factory reset to see if that fixes the reboots while charging. I've also just posted gapps 5.1.1 in the Delta Gapps thread for cm 12.1.
Yesterday I installed the latest version. Within two hours twice I had a black screen while using Pocket. Today I did a clean install with Deltadroid gapps. I'll see what happens.

Black screen on LG v500 running CM 12.1
This post is related to "http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g-pad-83/development/rom-official-cyanogenmod-12-1-t3086899/page9" thread (but as I'm new in this forum, it does not allow me to post in that thread.
I'm using CM-12.1-20150509-NIGHTLY-v500, and I'm experiencing these "black screens".
For me, it usually happens when I'm typing something (no matter whether in Evernote, nor Inbox, nor posting a message in the Clash of Clans).
And the only way to regain the screen is rebooting the tablet.
I'm using the Swiftkey Keyboard (v5.2.2.124).
The oldest build I can recall that these black screens weren't happening is CM-12-20150304-NIGHTLY-v500. Perhaps this might give a hint on what to diff against.

I think this has been a problem since cm 11. It seems like it happens randomly.
It seems that this is not an isolated v500 issue. The nexus 4 has the same problem because they both use the same video card.
Experience black screen during watching YouTube or read news... Not sure how to fix it. Any clue...

As you don't say much about your system...I will say you will possibly get rid of the black screen freezing by loading this kernel: Rick Roll's #15 found here: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=19557
Later versions of RR's seem to not 'fix' the issue, but this #15 has fixed it for me. For a bit of info, I'm running the nightlies (now on 2015-05-11 with RR's #15) So far, so good for me.
EDIT: all you need to do is boot to recovery and load the #15 zip and reboot system on TWRP.
I am running rick kernel 18 now. Will switch to 15 once I get a black screen...

I tried again. Loaded the latest nightly, all works except for moving apps to SD . indicates there is not enough room. Went back to the Korean stock ROM and no issues. I love CM12.1 on my tab s and moving apps works just fine. Am I doing something wrong?
Thank you for ur reply. At first i running R18. But having black screen n freeze. Switch to R17 now. Having the same issue but not so many time compare to R18. Will try R15 and report.

Is the black screen issue fixed yet? I practically stopped using my GPad due to this issue. It happens to me very frequently and there's no rhyme nor reason to it. I may try other roms out, but I love this one so far except the crippling black screen.

It repeatedly giving error com.android.phone has unfortunately stopped . And the ROM is able to search the mobile networks but there is bar in signal strength . Means it not getting the signal .

my Ace2 is still running under Stock Android 2.3.6. and I would like to Upgrade to CM.
For me stability and a working phone are more important than having the latest android Version, so my question is - which CM Version would you recommend? CM11 or is CM10.2 more stable? And is the latest version also the most stable one?
Is it correct that the only issue with CM11 is the Live streaming problem and with CM10.2 the memory leaks reported by some users- or are there more problems with these ROMS? A well working GPS is also important for me - is this the case?
And how difficult would it be to go back to stock 2.3.6. if CM is not working well for me?

I have the GT-I8160L too.
This ROM specifically i haven't tried yet, but I've installed 2 different builds of NovaFusion CM11 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2568105) and now I'm running J-TEAM AOSP (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2588054).
As TeamCanjica, both these ROMs are for the GT-I8160, but can be installed on GT-I8160L by changing the lines in the updater-script of the ROM (META-INF/GOOGLE/ANDROID/) where it checks the model of the device. I also read that the tee folder (system/lib/) of the ROM must be replaced by a copy of a tee folder from a running GT-I8160L firmware with SIM and carrier services properly working.
I've followed this guide:

So, just by checking the updater-script of teamcanjica CM11, i GUESS it could be installed on GT-I8160L through the same 2 steps that i did with the other cited ROMs.
Also, I remember seeing other members running these ROMs on the L version while reading these 3 threads. I really wanna know what exactly differences are between these 2 device versions.
Please anyone let me know and correct me if I've posted any wrong information.

I had exactly the same problem (audio but no video picture) and a simple change from stock browser to firefox solved it - Maybe it works for you too.

3g not working and apn keeps unloging me from network, when disabled no probs except no internet... Any ideas?
E: switched wifi hotspot on and disabled adb and it worked...

Hi, i have got this rom for 2 weeks. At the beginning it was fast etc. Now it cant even kepp launcher in memory? When i want to open any app for few mins, then i wan to back to homescreen it is loading all apps and widgets.. Also i cant back to my apps which i used few seconds/minutes ago cuz it's loading like a new open. When i had viperx 4.2.2 it could keep uc browser and some pages for few weeks, and when i wanted to open, it took 1 second for me. Now im feeling like on my 1st galaxy spica.
Is that normal?

I mean, my player is everywhere the same. I tried to install your latest version crdroid-5.0.2-20150121-endeavoru on my HTC One X but I got only an infinit HTC image. I am not very familiar with this things but I think I did what the instructions said:
- start on recovery mod (I am using TWRP v2.6.0.0, the one I used the only time I installed a custom rom);
- installed "crdroid-5.0.2-20150121-endeavoru" and "pa_gapps-stock-5.0.1-BETA12-20150116-signed" and did a data wipe in the end;
- reboot.
As I said, after restarting, I get the HTC start image and nothing progresses. Any idea what I am doing wrong (and how to make my phone back to work)?

If you put the ROM zip on your PC and open the zip file (not unzip) you'll see a boot.IMG inside,extract the boot.IMG to your pc. I'm assuming you've got the fastboot controls on your PC.

recently I've installed the ROM wich is a great build I must say. The experience is smooth and I haven't got any random reboots. But when I reboot the phone, it gets stuck on the HTC logo. After 3 reboots it will work normal again. Sometimes the WIFI doesn't work after a reboot and I have to reboot it again.
Not experienced anymore in build 20150210
Another problem I have is that the AdBlocker isn't working (I still have advertisements in apps) although I've downloaded the latest host files.

The last things that in my opinion are missing are a good (digital) clock widget and a simple mail client. In the original Sense ROMs the clock is fantastic and the mail client is just good. I'm now using K-9 mail, but I think there are too many opions in it. (suggestions?)

Probably some things are fixed in the newest build, but I can't find the changelog of it on XDA. It's there! And how do I update my ROM (I am used to OTA updaters, idea?)? Just dirty install the new ROM?
The answer is dirty flashing. (just install the ROM and clear cache and dalvik (I guess))

Thank you team for a very good rom. I have an HTC One X [Endeavoro] and have experimented with many roms over time. I always fall back onto JB Sense 5 Blade Elite 2.0 with Lyapota mods flashed.
The CM KitKat roms just didn't tick all the boxes for me. Functionality v battery life.
But I am so impressed with this Rom, especially so early in the development.
With crdroid 5.0.2-20150210, I am running the native launcher with PA Gapps mini. Touch recovery 6.0.4.8 gave me a problem restoring the back up but after allowing root access in dev options (I don't know if that made a difference) and flashing twrp-recovery-hox-2.8.1.0 the twrp back up restored perfectly. The Rom is so smooth, battery life is great and everything works!

If you hold your finger on the screen and the pages display, there is a small home icon at the top of your current home screen, just move it to the one you want, It works.

Can anyone confirm that their GPS works at all? I can't get my GPS to work. It gets no satellites in GPS Test app on the Play Store. It can only acquire location by wifi scan, not GPS satellites. I have the Nexus 7 2013 32GB (flo) running CM12 without root or mods.

Having issues with Bluetooth and GPS here. Bluetooth is working but with lots of skipping. its not my player or my music stream. Same song plays fine with headphone and N7 speakers. And I also have totally lost my GPS, didn’t even notice until I checked with GPS Checker.
For having a working GPS you need to install another kernel until cm has fixed it.

Won't Boot with SuperSu by Chainfire
Hi all, I have issues booting after updating from nightly to nightly. Here's the situation:
After updating from any CM12 nightly to a newer CM12 nightly, my tablet gets stuck on the boot splash screen (the one where it says Google and has the lock icon at the bottom) and I can't boot at all. I have tracked the issue to SuperSu by ChainFire. My SuperSu settings are attached below. Is this just me or is it everyone else too? If it is just me is there any way to fix it permanently rather than wiping /system and needing to re-flash everything all over again?
If you lost mobile data or gps sensors, please try this zip.

I was disappointed with 1.23 nightly though 1.24 fixed it up, hoping that some apps that come with Cyanogen like the music player get a landscape setup; irritating that it rotates back to portrait. Nexus 7's a tablet! ,content is best in landscape hoping you guys could work on it

The recommended gapps auto dl's. I tested them last night.
Easy flash. Runs great. No problems so far. By far the easiest flash and smoothest ROM Ive used in a while. Excellent work.

From the front facing camera you can't take more then two selfies before it stops working back camera will work from another app like Instagram

Camera is a known issue on a lot of lp Roms. I use google camera issue free.

So much thanks to OP for his help, but in not done complaining because I need to know if this truly is a perfect rom... There seems to be a faint green color that appears on my screen and at first I thought it was my phone but then I rebooted and it was normal again is this a bug or a bigger issue?

TBO Gapps
]I'm a bit confused. Do I install the TBO Gapps or install the recommended Gaps that was previously here for this update (5.1.1)? Also to update from 9.2 to 9.3 is it recommended that I wipe then install a fresh 9.3 rom or can it be flashed over?

Hey I am completely noob at this I have been getting by with google and leaps of faith rn and I have a few questions that I couldn't find anywhere
But first may I say I love you so much My phone is a amazingly fast now and I am out of jelly bean now.:
1. Battery life- It is now realllly bad I have tried the calibrate thing that you are supposed to do but its some times so bad that when I put my charger and charge it still discharges and only goes back up after it hits 15% or so...This did not happen in jelly bean so just curious is there anything I can do ?
2.Boot time- It takes an awfully long time to boot and once it is booted 30 seconds later it goes back into showing Samsung logo and then 15 seconds of that it goes to the home screen
3.Optimizing apps- Every time I restart it says optimizing apps some times its 94 or times 12 or 46 idk what that is about or if that is supposed to happen
4.DU-updater - I am guessing this is how I am supposed to update. Not entirely sure how though I think I have to download it and then goto twrp and flash it there. not entirely sure...
5.Overheating- The top part of my phone is getting scary hot . I cant touch it for more than 45 seconds. I dont know why I have done everything like I am supposed to and everything else works...
6.OS- Where is it exactly ? Is it on my sd card ? I know I installed it from my sd card and I think it is installed it to the internal storage ... I am not exactly sure and I am scared to take out my sd card ... Also is it safe to move the backed up version of my phone onto my desktop to save space on my phone ?
7. Camera- I noticed that the camera software on my friends phone who were on the lolipop touchwiz camera was clearly much better as I was on jelly bean and I was wondering if the software I have for the camera is on the same level as theirs ? Sorry if it is a confusing question!
I am running a theme and nova launcher on top of the OS could this be a reason be a reason for any of these problems ?
But other than that everything works great and I love you so much man!!!!!! You are a genius. Sorry if I asked dumb questions this is the first time I have successfully done this !!!

Stock and instagram cameras are not working, but snapchat's IS working for me!
From my experience with the rom, open camera is working really good.

You can also take a picture with open camera/nexus camera and then share it with instagram/snapchat. A few extra steps but it works

So I am running the cyanide L shift kernel version of lolipop or android 5 and I was wondering what the differences are between the two...
Is it the Launcher used? or Is Cyanide L and Liquid Smooth the firmware and the Launchers are a totally different thing? I'm not having any issues with my build right now... its running smooth like butter (only negative thing is my data wifi signal is really bad... I updated to NC1 but heard I may need to go to NC2 or NC4?? I dunno... anyways whats the differences? and I don't mean one is cyanide the other is Liquid smooth... I mean what are the actual differences in detail please...
I really really don't like the launcher (nova) used in the cyanide L build...

scheduler
Hi i want to thank you for the great work your doing. Im having issues with changing the i/o scheduler in the performance menu. No matter what i pick it stays as row as soon as i exit settings and apply on boot doesnt work either. I have tried clean flash reboot clear cache wipe dalvik and no luck. The only way i can make it stay is by another app.

No matter how many time I install the driver it's always "Not running, or Driver Status: Abnormal."
I downloaed the se Linux change, and it set it to permissive. Everytime the phone resets it goes back to enforcing. WHy won't it stay on permissive? I am using the default kernel with the LiquidSmooth
I can't get viper to work. At all. This is on a brand new fresh install, wiped away clean internal SDCard, starting completely anew.
This is frustrating the crap out of me.

Have you tried installing a different kernel yet? I have shift kernel installed on my LS LP and VIPER is working smoothly on my phone.

Camera
I flashed latest version "v4.0-2015-01-27", disabled and wiped data for stock Camera app, installed both Open Camera and Nexus Camera and neither are working. The window just goes black and crashes. Any idea on how to fix? People were saying it worked earlier in the thread so maybe it broke in a more recent update, would flashing an older version fix it?
This more updated that the 5.0.2 LP version?
Is this ROM more updated than the 5.0.2 LP ROM that you have fenixus??

Hey. I really like this ROM, however I have a problem with calls. When someone calls me, the phone doesn't ring, just vibrates (sometimes it vibrates just once and that is it). THat is very sad because this ROM is so smooth and fast. Does this happen only on my phone? and also, I am on the slimkat now with cyanogenmod based recovery, so whenever I flash this rom or any other lollipop based ROM, I get the message from the recovery that I may lose the root access. I always chose the Fix option and everything runs just fine with the root access. But, I get this message everytime I go to recovery. Thank you for your great work. Oh, and just to clarify, the above mentioned problems happen on the newest build (3/6/2015) and the previous build (don't remember which one specifically).

Get with fenixus on the main thread on the calling issue. You may have to provide logcats for him. As for the second problem, I believe SuperSU should be automatically flashed when the ROM is flashed, not sure of that's a recovery issue, but I know the auto flashing of SuperSU works on TWRP...

This suffers from the same thing every Slim rom does.
Anytime you set your default Ringtone, when you restart it defaults back to default. I guess because it is on the External SD card. Is there no way around this?
Another thing that is happening is everytime i restart the phone it has to update Google Play services.
I am in the middle of installing the ROM.
When I did the same ROM before, it took a few minutes to install, this time it's just stuck there it looks like.
Have I done something wrong? its been 15minutes or so. I will wait longer.
