Hi,
i have trouble when a compile latest cm-10.1 sources to nozomi. I use instruction from cynaogenmod page. Log is in file.
Can someone help me with this, or please give instruction how to remove these error.
Hi
Im running a Wiko Darkside, a clone of Micromax A210 and i've downloaded the source code from wikogeek (FR version) and im trying to compile the RTL8187 driver
Im able to compile the modules with no errors, but i always get unknown symbol error when i try to insmod it
Code:
Unknown symbol kmem_cache_alloc_trace
I think it might have something to do with the kernel config, since theres no /proc/config.gz so im guessing that the .config provided in the source tree is the default one.
this is my build command (from the README file included in the source archive)
Code:
make TARGET_PRODUCT=wiko CFLAGS_MODULE=-fno-pic MTK_ROOT_CUSTOM=../mediatek/custom// CONFIG_DEBUG_SECTION_MISMATCH=y -j3 modulee
I've been around this error for a while and still haven't found a way to solve this so any tips on how to solve this ?
Better yet, can i flash the device with a custom/newer/better kernel without losing the data ? If so can you point me to a guide on how to do it ?
Thanks

Hi all!
I'm trying for days to compile some of the Lollipop roms for the T800 and T700 available on Github.
Tried a lot of tutorials, downloaded the CM12 source on ubuntu, but I can't, for the life of me, integrate the files from github into the cyanogen downloaded source and do a "breakfast chagallwifi".
Could anyone give me some pointers?
Thanks!
Update, got it to start compiling, found another clue on local_manifests that is working! Let's see if it compiles...
Hello
I tried to build CM12 for the Z1c but this eventually failed at some point.
I followed the instructions that can be found on the cyanogenmod wiki.
The building system eventually tells me that the repo manifest is missing.
Where do I get one and to be more precisely, where do I get the one the cyanogenmod developers use?

Have you tried the CM12 - Android 5.0 - FreeXperia Project
I would start by trying to flash a rom from an XDA Z1 compact thread, that way you know it's been made for your device and that you'll get some support from the developer (hopefully).
I love the camera on my Z1 compact too much to break it with a CM build, so I can't be of any more help. Sorry.
Thanks. But I'd like to build my own rom.
But I cannot find the needed manifest file. I would appreciate if someone who already built CM12 for the amami would share it here.
Guyz how to Compile Roms or kernel for oneplus 3 and how port manufacturer rom for oneplus 3 ???
This wiki document explains very well how to build cyanogenmod 13 for the OnePlus 3:
https://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Build_for_oneplus3
Instead of extracting the binary blobs from your device you can also clone the following repository:
https://github.com/TheMuppets/proprietary_vendor_oneplus
and copy the oneplus3 directory to ~/android/system/vendor/oneplus/
I did this just a few days ago on Ubuntu 16.04 x64.
Nice regards.
Michael
