I know this forum is rife with battery questions, but ironically it makes it harder for me to search for the answer to this..
I've had my 360 for a week or so now, and the battery's actually been much better than I expected.... until today. Today, for some reason, my watch JUST died at 4:30PM (I've been making it to 10PM with ~20% battery). id idn't do anything differently. When I saw it was at 6^ or whatever it was, I looked at the battery stats on Android Wear on my phone, and it showed the graph going from 100% to 0% pretty steadily throughout the day, but the statistics only account for like, 35% of the loss. Like, bluetooth was 8%, Android Wear was 6%, there were a few random things at 2% and 1%.... and it all added up to 35%. Where did the rest go? Is my battery in a funny state, and if so is there a way to "reset" it?
Thanks all.

Don't know about missing percentage, but I've noticed that about once a week my battery doesn't last the whole day. I've found that restarting the watch once a week helps.

I've had the phone since Sept 6th and this is 4th day I have my phone.
My battery life has been draining like crazy. I don't have a data plan, but I do go on wifi sometimes (not very often, and I don't keep it on for long). Maybe in total an hour to two a day.
I wouldn't say I am a heavy user, I don't play any games or watch any videos nor listen to music at all. I only sms and download apps.
It's been 5h 42m 35s since unplugged and my battery life is down to 57. I hardly use it, my settings are pretty much the lowest.
It says
Android System 40%
Cell standby 21%
Phone idle 13%
Display 12% (weird, since I have animations are turned off and I used lowest brightness)
Camera 6% (I took 3 photos)
Wifi 4%
Maps 2%
Dialer 2%
about 2 hours ago, I rooted my desire since I've read reviews that it makes it faster, prolongs battery life and what not. (plus I could do so much more with it later on). But my battery was still draining at like 1% every minute and half that I touch it. (I also have task killer, but I don't kill task very often)
Then my friend suggested I get SetCPU (which I did) around 2 hours ago after I rooted my phone. Then I went out and hardly touched the phone unless I received sms, or to check the time. And it went from like 69 to 56 (within that 2 hours of doing nothing)
I've searched the forum for extending battery life (and googled as well) and read other users who have the same problem, and I pretty much did what was recommended but it's still draining.
I can hardly make it through the day!!
Is there any other way that I can charge it (when to charge it) or.. do you think it might be my battery's problem? Should I buy a new one?
Thanks for all the help again (I know this kind of thread has already been done, but that was in like April)
Your battery takes time to settle if it's a brand new device. It takes a few charge/discharge cycles for that.
If after say 14 days you are still getting poor life I'd try calibrating it. Instructions are HERE.
thanks! i will try that if my battery life still drains this crazily in a week.
So my battery life so far has been hugely inconsistent. The first day it was draining so fast (60% in an hour) that I contemplated turning around and taking it right back to the Verizon store.
I decided to give it a better chance than that and gave it a full conditioning cycle and all seemed well - I got 16 hours with moderate usage including an hour and a half where my screen was constantly on! I was very pleased. Extremely pleased.
So I charge my phone back up to 100% before I go to sleep then take it off the charger once it does. I drift off into dreamland, dead to the world, and five hours later I decided to check my phone for calls, texts and email.
Before I could even pull my notification bar down I saw something horrific - an extremely low battery capacity, nearly red. Checked battery usage and it said it went from 100% to 13% in about 5.5 hours.
Android OS - 64%
Phone Idle - 10%
This is the big indicator. Under Android OS, my phone (not the display) was kept awake for an hour and a half overnight. I'm really not sure what's going on here and what's causing this to happen. I haven't downloaded much - 1 game, Skype, Google Reader, Facebook, Tweetcaster, Evernote and Foursquare - and none of them showed any signs of being the culprit.
As you can tell, this is very worrisome. If I can't get more than 5.5 hours on a full charge what use is this phone to me? Does anyone know what could be going on or has anyone else run into this issue?
You're not the only one.

Thank you! I will direct my attention over there. Mods please close this thread.
My battery life suddenly became horrible this morning. Normally I unplug my phone every morning around 6AM, and i dont need to charge it again until closer to 9PM.
This morning, I realized that despite being on a full charge at 6AM as usual, my battery was completely depleted by 10. I checked the battery "app" and it said that phone idle and cell standby were both at 13% usage, and that was the most i had used my phone. it registered the full time (4 hours) of usage for those 2 but it also said that it was only responsible for 13 % of my battery drain each. After that there was google play services.
I figured it was just a fluke, so I reboot the phone and recharged it. Once again, the battery drained in a mere 4 hours. This time it told me a voice call of only 10 minutes length was responsible for 35% of my battery drain, and that having my screen on for a seperate 10 minutes was responsible for 25% of my battery drain. This might be fine and dandy if the actual draining chart showed a steep fall off when i made the call, but that is not the case. the chart is a straight line showing constant drainage with no steep or flat areas. I'm thinking something is definitely wrong and the phone is causing itself to drain. maybe something hardware oriented, since i dont even have very many apps downloaded.
I've literally only interacted with my phone maybe 3 times today, and I didnt even do anything major.
Do you guys have any ideas as to what is going on with it?
I'm CM10, latest stable. not the monthlies. no cpu hacks or anything, and as I said, this problem cropped up this morning. before this everything has been fine.
Please search for Better Battery Stats here on XDA. That thread has quiet a few tips on saving battery drain.

If I hadnt already made sure I was following the tips and I wasnt dead sure that something was the problem, I would not have made this post.
I did manage to figure out the problem by sheer dumb luck and a little bit of educated guessing.
I uninstalled the MyFitnessPal and tried again today. I'm exhibiting normal battery drain now (10 hours and im at 46% with not too much usage of the phone).
If you read the post I made, no apps were showing up as a large battery drainer, and all my stats were reporting incorrect times (13% battery usage for a 4 hour period despite showing me i only used the phone for 10 minutes). So something was definitely wrong. Uninstalling the app fixed the issue though, so for anyone who exhibits this problem, uninstall whatever apps you most recently installed and do a reboot.
I didnt have to reset or anything.
So this has happened twice recently. I'm not sure if it's the battery or an app that caused this.
Basically I left my tablet at around 40% overnight idling and throughout the day at home while I was at work. I come back around 8 pm and pick it up..battery is dead. Like completely dead, the tablet won't turn on until I charge it a bit. It's kind of ridiculous in an approximately 14-16 hour period my tablet died going from 40% to 0 on idle?
How can I find out what's causing this? I'm not really sure what changed because I haven't really installed anymore apps in the past few weeks.
@C2Q Go into Settings > Battery > and then take a screen print and post it here of what % of battery each app has used.
Should give you an idea from there. If I were guess I'd say it will be Android.System thats draining it...well thats what happened to me.
Thanks. Yeah I have tried that, I also have a bunch of other battery monitoring apps. All it says is Android OS but no specifics. I'm wondering if there's a way to tell after rebooting, what caused that much battery drain (app wise)?
@C2Q Take a screenprint and post it here..
Hmm..I'll try to get one screenshot when this happens again. Yesterday I charged to 100% overnight, unplugged in the morning before work and then came back after work about 10-11h later to see it at 99%. That was pretty normal. Wakelock detector only showed Gmail as the biggest battery usage in those 11 hours. Will keep an eye out to see if this mysteriously drains again.
What rom are you using ? It could be a faulty kernel if android os is running like crazy.
Guys what the hell, why this phone and Nexus 6p drops 2% of battery pratically every time? Some users says that the fault is of Doze, and some says that is bad battery. Just answer three things
[Question 1]
This problem is a software based or hardware? And if is software, there's some how make it stop doing this? It's annoying and makes me sick with the time of usage .
[Question 2]
Why in the hell some users have this issue and some not? That's a russian roullete? Really I'm mad.
[Question 3]
Are you getting this problem? Already solved this? Suffer yet with and doesn't even know how to troubleshoot this?
GRR really. I'm mad. And seems that happens on the same percentages, 99% to 97% 95% to 93% 90% to 88% and there it go...
note: When the phone is under 60% to 100% it stay in a temperature of 35ยบ, and you feel your phone a little hot, but when it arrives at the 50% ~ 60% down, it seems to be a little less hot, is that the processor's core being shutten down in order to give priority to the battery?
REALLY I can't understand the behavior of this phone. It's really strange, and how I never had one, I have no parameters to make any comparison.
It doesn't seem to be set at certain percentages but rather starts at where the battery is when you go there and then goes down by 2% at a time. I've never sat around and watched it before and it certainly doesn't irritate me. I have a one percent battery on my statusbar I can watch if I need something more accurate.
