Headset
Hopefully u`re not gonna laugh, but my oppinion is that the stock headphones are the best for my GS2. I have over 30 pairs of headphones +/- control talk on them varoius brands (Beats, Bose, AKG, Marley, Skull...etc) and i`ve paid ****loads of money to buy them. maby my ears are a bit old ) but i`ve been testing and testing: best music fidelity i get with the stock ones. Of course after hotroadding them on some headphone amps with powerfull signal. I personally choose them over Monster Beats, but that just my oppinion.
Anywayz if u wanna buy a new headset don`t do it online. Go to the store and phisically try them. That`s how u get really happy
I don't like in-ear earphones, I prefer the classic ones.
I think the best are in the third link u posted
I'm actually looking to buy a new pair of the stock ones. I loved them, but I lost one of the ear bud fittings.
I went to a Bell store and they said they'd be able to give it to me for free but apparently they're on back order and have been for a while.

Best ones:
Over-ear: Philips O'Neill line, indestructible headphones, its hard but you can buy cords with controls for specific gadgets (example: iPhone on apple store) -> http://www.amazon.com/Philips-SHO95...KKUS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1339635632&sr=8-1
in-ear: The beats by Dr. Dre, with his incredible beauty -> http://beatsbydre.com/products/showproducts.aspx?startBanner=2
Klipsch S4A will be the best bet. Good mids and highs with plenty of bass response. Also it is excellently priced for what you get. It cannot be faulted. I used to have them but recently upgraded to a pair of Shure Se215.
i got the noisehush, when i receive them i give you my opinion!

I have the normal S4's, so without inline remote, because I use them in combination with a Sony Ericsson MW600. Not quite like my Sennheiser HD598's but they give a pretty good seal and are perfect for when commuting or something.
curious
im wondering the same on a good well priced headset. preferably in ear with good bass and acoustic. im currently using lg hbs-700 which are nice bluetooth headset that sits around ur neck. but lacks bass. and samsung in ear buds that also lack much bass.
I am looking for some bluetooth headphones that work with the Moto X's great touchless features. I really want controls for music as well. Any ideas?

I have used several bluetooth headsets till now ranging from samsung, motorola and lg. Samsung is terrible, Motorola build quality is good but poor sound and uncomfortable atleast for me, i saw new motorola ones in motox website i havent tried those yet(i only used s series) and lg is by far the best i am using hbs 700 for about one and half year now still rock steady. I usually get about 10 hours of talktime till this date. Sound quality is ok. There is a new version hbs 730 which i havent tried(may be incremental update) . My suggestion is go with lg ones check reviews on amazon for $40 bucks you wont go wrong. I just got jaybirds bluebuds x which is pricey got for about $130. Sound quality is good but havent used much
I've had a bunch of different brands, the best hands down have been the Jaybird Bluebuds X. Excellent sound and fit. You wont go wrong.
http://www.amazon.com/JayBird-BlueBuds-Sport-Bluetooth-Headphones/dp/B00AIRUOI8/ref=sr_sp-atf_title_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1382965502&sr=8-2&keywords=jaybird+bluebuds+x
I second the Jaybird Bluebuds X. But it also depends on what you are using them for. If you frequent the gym, then the Jaybirds are your best bet.
If you do not use them at the gym, my favorite headphones and most comfortable have been the LG Tone. Motorola makes their own version that is similar to the Tone:
http://www.motorola.com/us/accessor...less-Headphones/Buds-Wireless-Headphones.html
but i cannot attest to how good they are.
Jaybird hands down! Been using it for a year on both Nexus 4 and MOTO X, great sound quality and best running earbud. I got it when it was on sale, around $110. Pricey indeed, but worth every penny.
I have the LG tones and they are great. Sound is awesome and battery life is pretty good as well.

okay to use running?

Will these fall off when you're running? If no - then I'm definitely going to have to pick a pair of these up!
I have the Bluebird Jaybuds X and use them everyday at the gym with my moto x. Great headphones. Would definitly recommend them if you can justify the price for what you are going to use them for.
What's everyone using for IEMs? Looking for recommendations in the sub $130 range.
I highly recommend the Triple Driver Headphones from 1More

As someone who owns 35 different pairs of headphones. These are a STEAL at their price and offer really quality playback.

Unfortunately I have not experienced any RHA products myself but they definitely look really clean and would match the HTC10 well
For anyone who's looking for cheap buds, the LG Quadbeats 3 sound pretty good. They actually sound better than my Bose IE2s because of the great isolation on a high quality source. They came with my G4 and sounded so cheap. Perfect example of the 10 making cheap buds sound amazing.

I have the rha ma750, bought it a few years ago. I do recommend it for the $130 range. I also have the rha t20.
Sony mdr ex750ap is also very nice with many colours and great sound.
Vsonic gr07 classic and gr07 bass are great as well.

A decent pair of earbuds, the Klipsch R6. Can't go wrong with, especially if you buy the Isolation Comply Tips. You'll get some great sound from them. That's the combo I use.
Got the RHA MA750 a few days ago. Very pleased. Phenomenal clarity and balance overall. A little less bassy and warm than I was expecting though. Although I've read they get better after a good break in period.
Thinking about trying the Shure se215s just to compare.
Still keeping the MA750s regardless though, between comfort and build quality they're well worth the price.
i have shure se215s, very nice, detachable cable, bit bass heavy but very durable.

Just received these myself and the sound quality is phenominal once you get the set dialed in with the right tips.
However, I think the button functions dont work properly, or mine are broken. Do your button controls work properly?
Top button works for Vol+
Middle button is stop/start, 2 presses nothing. three presses next track
Bottom button does nothing.
Im gonna contact 1more but am curious if yours work ok.

When switching from an iOS device and an android device I often find issues for the controls to work properly haha.
Most of the time the controls work flawlessly hopefully it gets better overtime. If you get a response back let me know what they say! Also, I agree so much haha these headphones are absolutely amazing and for the price they are absolutely amazing!!

I will post here if they reply. I didnt come from IOS though. My last phone was the LG G2. Oddly the controls work on that phone, except for skipping back one track.
I'm guessing that maybe HTC didnt stick to a standard implementation.
So Im assuming your button controls dont work either? I cant tell by your reply if you answered my question?!?
I am a proud new owner of a Carbon Gray HTC 10! (coming from Failsung S7)
My sugestions for HTC 10 (of the same color) users:
AKG Y50 Black
AKG N20U Black
AKG K450
Sennheiser HD 2.20s
Philips Fidelio L2BO/27
Philips Fidelio S2BK/28
Senfer UEs (Dinamic driver + balanced armature)
KZ ZST (Dinamic driver + balanced armature)
A short update on the 1more Triple drivers. Support said that the inline button issues were fixed for android on their titanium color set. Apparently the black/gold have not been fixed yet (old stock?).
They offered to switch them out for me. Sucks cause I dont really want that color, but for $100 I want them to work properly. And they sound incredible so I'll deal.
For now, if anyone plans to buy them, get titanium color if you want the inline controls to work properly. I asked them on eta for corrections to black stock. Will update if I lean more.
I came from using sure's, xiaomi piston 2 and dual drivers, and sennheiser momentum in ears. These 1more triples shatter those in comparison of sound quality. I mean its not even a contest. Ive heard $1,500 cans that sound worse.
I'm unsure of how good they are, but the HTC Hi Res Audio earbuds and JBL Reflect Aware C Earphones are both 40% off if you sign up to join Team HTC. I bought the Hi Res Audio ones for less than $20. They should be here today (only took 2 days to ship).

the hi res sound great... but you gotta be careful with them... the wires are weak and will disconnect inside
Yes -.-
my Hi Res earbuds broke on the right side after 2 months....
Then i bought the Xiaomi Hybried IEM. For 18$ really nice stuff.
I think they're also designed by 1More.
Shure Se-215 with aftermarket cables from ebay that allow the in-line buttons to work on Android. They have a in-line mic as well. The se-315 are supposedly great too, a bit more $.
I also actually love the Amazon buds. $15 and they are great. Fit is nice, buttons work and in-line mic, sound is decent and I love that they are not sound isolating. Great for walks and hikes where you'd like to hear traffic and such.

Yea. 1more currently makes all of the xiaomi piston range and dual drivers. I have them all. Its what convinced me to try the triple drivers. In comparison to the dual drivers the triples are really 10x better sound quality. Not knocking any of the xiaomi range. At their price points they are all the best there is in the low end $ range, ......by far. I personally think the Piston 2's are fantastic, although base heavy.
As an aside, I also have thr JBL reflect and the HiRes HTC's. Guys, they are not even close to being anything near the right quality to take advantage of the DAC and amp on the 10. Rhey sound horrible. I'd rather use my non aptx photive bth3's than those.
My replacement 1mores's should be here tomorrow. I'll update on whether the controls actually work right on the 10.

The htc earphones hi res, are they built for music productions?
Im still using my old iphone earpods but unfortunately the volume remote doesnt work on android so i wish to get something similar but with a better quality to fully enjoy the improved dac and chipset. Searching online i found the sennheiser momentum in-ear which has the remote and mic that i want. What do you think? are there any better ones for that price or even less?
meelec m6 pro, xiaomi piston
ther are quite a lot of options
I think the sennheiser momentum in ears are an excellent choice. Everything depends on your budget and needs. I've headphones and earphones that cost multiple hundreds of dollars and off course I'd reccomend some of those (for example: grado PS500's) but if you're on a budget, even sennheiser hd202's or sennheiser cx 1.0 or 3.0's are excellent choices.
I don't have this phone yet (waiting to see how the different issues evolve) but would love to test my 1more Triple Drivers out with this dac. Impressive IEMs for the price (on LGG4 now with Viper4android - mostly FLACs). Check out the reviews online.
Bose or jbl will have great experience bro

Now much money are you willing to spend?
And what music do you listen to?
Hard to really recommend something since everyone hears differently. What might sound good to one might sound horrible to another. For general recommendations try similarly priced buds from (in no particular order) Hifiman RE400a, Dunu 22M, Sony XBA H1/H2, RHA MA750, Philips Fidelio S1/S2/TX2, Xiaomi Piston 2, 1More Triple Driver, FiiO EX1, Shure SE215, Onkyo E700, Brainwavz (many models), Audio-Technica ATH-CKM500.
Out of those I mentioned I'd say I liked (also in no particular order since it's from memory) the Sony Momentum In ears, 1More Triple Driver, Shure SE215, Onkyo E700, Xiaomi Piston 2, Hifiman RE400a.
Try to buy somewhere that has an awesome return policy like Amazon so you can try some out and find the one for you.

I want to spend max 100€ and i usually listen to Dubstep/EDM/Trap
Try to listen to Shure SE215,also has a changeable cable. Has extended bass and laid back highs.
Go for the KZ ED10 earphones. They are only 10 bucks on amazon and they are amazing. I've owned, the Sennheiser Momentum in ear, Shure SE215, and HiFiMan RE-400 earphones and I prefer my kz ed10s. I've owned other kz earphone that aren't nearly as good, so it might be a gamble, but these guys are way good. I've had them about a year now, and they are still going strong, my RE-400 wires started going loose in about 6 months. They don't have the best base response, but nothing else I own can touch the same high frequencies.
I recommend the Sennheiser PX-100-II. I've used the older model years ago and have this model now. They work well, sound great, and can be folded up for easy storage. I'm thinking of upgrading to the PX-200-II if I find a good deal on them.
https://en-us.sennheiser.com/on-ear-headphones-travel-lightweigt-px-100-ii
I don't have an Axon 7 yet, but +1 for Shure SE215's. I use them everyday listening to mostly electronic music and they sound really good for the price. They have good noise isolation properties that lets you keep the volume lower while still being able to hear the music clearly. You look like you're wearing a hearing aid because they're so large, but it's worth it.
The new Sony MDR 1000X seems to be top notch !
If it wasn't so damn expensive i'd jump on it this second !
EDIT : If you're looking for very cheap with great price/quality earphones, the Xiaomi "Piston 4" are the way to go in my opinion.
I am very satisfied with my panasonic rp-hjx20. Impressive surround feeling and bass potential.

carbo Tenore ZH-DX200-CT
The Zero Audio carbo Tenore ZH-DX200-CT are extremely good earbuds for the price. I just bought a pair and I'm blown away by the sound quality. Check out this article. http://www.theverge.com/2016/8/29/12688698/zero-audio-carbo-tenore-best-earphones-review
I just got the Tennmak Pro Dual IEMs and with Dolby Atmos switched on, the sound is excellent. USD 29. Also available from Aliexpress for the same price (that's where I got them).
They have a mic and an answer/pause button (no volume control).
My oppo pm-3's and audeze el-8's sound decent on the axon with some viper tweaks. This phone has a good internal amp that can drive some power-hungry headphones.
I also bought the KZ ZS3 for $8 on Gearbest and they're good as well, but the Tennmak are great.
It depends on what you listen and honestly to get the best suggestion pay Headfi's introduction and recommendations a visit after you make an account and ask whatever is on your mind and people will answer
I would suggest the re-400, it isn't just a bit extended lower region but more neutralism on the whole spectrum for best edm experience (because to my experience edm is not just bass all the time) also the re's are pretty cheap so you can save some for other stuff you want to buy
What is in your opinion the better choice? Headphones with Bluetooth or with cable? I assume better use with this phone is a headphone with cable...
Gesendet von meinem ZTE A2017G mit Tapatalk
Guys, I bought the US HTC 10, so it came with no headphones.
Which ones do you recommend? I'm really interested in the Sennheiser CX 5.00 but I'm not sure if they're going to take advantage of the DAC. WHat other recommendatios do you have?
Thanks in advance.
I got the HTC "hi-res" earphones as I'm in Europe. They're very good for a bundled pair and I thought they were too bassy but then I set up a audio profile for them listening to frequencies and they sound fine. That function actually works!
I haven't listened to the cx 5.00 for a while but as far as direct experience on the HTC 10, I'm pleased with
-Sony EX650ap, same price range, quite a nice, refined sound.
-Sennheiser HD25 i-ii, sounds just lovely, get deafeningly loud but twice the price and not an iem...
-UE 700 really takes advantage of the dac, so maybe another dual driver like the Xiaomi Hybrid or One More?
This phone is even able to drive my HD600s to acceptable levels. I'm tempted to hang on to my Tidal hi-fi account after the trial ends.
Original ones...
Sent from quite brutal hTc 10 ..
The original earphones are very good for a bundled earphone but aren't really anything special in the grand scheme of things. Those Sennheisers will probably be a decent upgrade. Otherwise, there are plenty of options available online; the HifiMan RE-400 was just on sale for $60, the Shozy Zero can commonly be found for the same price and offers a bassier alternative. The Xiaomi Pistons earphones are also very good and extremely cheap, the Pistons 3 go for around $15 whilst the triple driver hybrid "pro" model is around $25, both are an absolute steal.
I've got some Bose Soundlink over ear headphones and the sound is immense...
Shure SE215
Klipsch X10
Too bad we didn't get aptx HD for those times when I can't use wired cans.
Sony MDR7506 with 24 bit flac of Miles Davis' Kind of Blue.
I'm using the B&O H7, which sound great too me. Was using the Beats Studio 2 before that. The sound quality was decent but it was lacking deep bass.
HTC has always seem to nail it in the audio department.
Sennheiser m2
Wired. No Bluetooth.
Still have to finish burn in with the original htc in ear but I already don't like them, too bassy! I do really love the Zero Audio carbo tenore, they are worth a lot more than the price they're asking for!
AF45m By Audiofly with Vyper4Android FX... Sound Is Very Very Good
Just paid $20 for Xiaomi In-ear Hybrid Earphones Pro. Triple drivers and they sound great!
I use Westone W40. All cool)
I'm using my old HTC8 Harmon Kardon ear buds for mobile use and Sennheiser Momentum 2 over the ear, corded headphones for home use. Both sound nice with this phone but the Sennheisers are my favorite. Being a decent set of over the ear headphones with a lower impedance, means this phone has more than enough power to get them sounding nice without a stand alone amp. I listen to a wide variety of music but they do a good job. Real comfortable and nice build quailty

They're definitely becoming renowned for it, which is great because I think most manufacturers see it as an afterthought. The bundled Hi-Res earphones are so freakin' good.
is here someone from Taiwan, who may be interested in helping me to buy the HTC Hi-Res Audio Earphones in the HTC store?
if so please contact me priv.
thx in advance
Using a pair of Audiotechnica ATH M50X with it. Its awesome!!!
to big to me, I like small earphones, and those original form HTC are very good to me, but can't bay it anywhere.
